Helle Comfort

Stylish and comfortable. I was able to wear these shoes for an entire day right out of the box. Seems to run slightly small, I'd order 1/2 size up.

The Helle Comfort shoes allow me to wear sandals once again, even though I use an orthodic insert. The adjustable straps provide enough support and allow me to make width changes on my foot where I need it. Very happy!

These shoes are incredibly comfortable and can be worn with jeans, casual dresses or nice pants. I can walk and stand all day without my feet feeling sore and tired. I gave the shoe 4 stars because the velcro closing doesn't wrap completely along the side of the shoe so the top closure overhangs and curls up a little. I have wide feet, so I wouldn't expect the straps to overhang when closed--which could be a bigger problem if you have narrow feet. Overall, the shoes are worth the money--just wish this brand had cuter styles to choose from.

Love these shoes! Very colorful, comfortable and stylish. I wish the leather was a little more substantial...considering the price...but I had to keep them!

This is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever put on. It is extremely lightweight, well constructed, and the color/pattern is very attractive. In this respect, I agree with the 75 other reviewers. However. I got them for an upcoming trip in which I anticipate a lot of walking on uneven surfaces. Why didn't I keep them? Two reasons: the leather is extremely thin and I feared that it wouldn't hold up to daily wear--and at this price, I would like to wear it for a couple of years, which I don't think would be the case. Secondly, the heel footbed is designed in such a fashion that it aligns? miss-aligns? ones tendency to supinate or pronate to the inside. For these two reasons, I just couldn't take them with me. So sad.

Such comfort! But I wasn't ready for the bit of sparkle on the jute wedge, and my toes pushed over the front edge just a bit too much for me. Helle Comfort is tops in construction and comfort with great style. These were just a bit wrong for my size 10 feet with long toes.

This is a cute style but the toe base is narrower than most Helle shoes that I have.

This is a comfortable shoe. I usually wear a 39 in Helle but in this one I needed a half size larger. My toes needed that extra length in front. I returned the 39 for the next size up. I wear an 8.5 in Keen and Gentle Souls.

Helle Comfort shoes are extremely comfortable which is why I'm keeping these. I have the Bronze Illinois color and it's a nice shade - works as a neutral shoe with bright solids, but not bland or boring. My only problem with the style is that the straps look a bit clunky for a low-heeled slip-on. I have wide straps like these on a wedge sandal that I own and it looks better proportioned on those. I'm keeping these, though, because they're perfect to wear under boot cut jeans.

I ordered these after coming home from my hairdresser who told me that her ortho surgeon told her that her knee problems are from wearing too high of a heel (she favors more than 3"). It's not easy finding cute, comfy shoes with a low heel these days! These fit the bill. It's lightweight and flexible making it easy to walk in, and has a padded footbed for comfort. The straps are adjustable via Velcro for a perfect fit. I got the canary yellow color, perfect for summer with white skinny jeans! Oh, and the "jeweled" logo on the side adds a little bling factor!

Very comfy shoe is lightweight, padded footbed, comfortable heel height, adjustable for various instep sizes - but the color reminded me of a bedroom slipper. Not what I was looking for in a summer sandal.

These shoes are lovely and very comfortable. However, getting the straps tight enough for a narrow or slender foot leaves them sticking out straight, beyond the bottom velcro, which makes them no longer attractive, unfortunately.

Cannot comment on overall fit as they were too small to really make a complete review. They were a whole size shorter than my normal size 9 sandals. Very pretty looking and I am ordering the next size up.

I have the "perfect storm" of issues that cause me foot, knee, and back pain, from flat feet to knock knees to a slight curvature of the spine, and I could stand to lose a few pounds, too. I've had to wear ugly orthopedic shoes for as long as I can remember. I've been wearing Dansko exclusively for the last ten years since I take a size 11 and I can't size up for an orthotic insert to fix into my shoes, so I need the supportive arch in the shoe itself. But let's face it, Danskos, generally speaking, are less than fashionable and lately, they been poorly made (in my opinion) in comparison to early models. This week I decided to just go for it and spend the extra money on a great looking pair of comfort shoes instead of buying a couple pairs of comfortable, yet ugly Danskos! I got the Helle Comfort "Baby" in Calgary Yellow, and they are by far the most beautiful comfort shoes I have ever tried on in my entire life of 40 years! The footbed is lined in the softest material you can imagine and the adjustable strappy leather upper is so pretty, I could just cry with joy. Best of all, the shoes offers a cute kitten-type heel that looks fantastic, but is as supportive, if not more so, as a Dansko. Where have the Helle Comfort shoes been all my life, for my high school prom, for work, for parties, etc.? I am planning on wearing this beautiful yellow pair to my wedding next month, and I am thrilled to be able to walk and dance without pain while looking good and being able to show off my pedicure! Love them -- they are worth every last penny!

I really liked these shoes and wanted to keep them to wear to a special event. However, I have metatarsal issues, and the shoe narrowed a bit too much in the toe area for my comfort. While the sandals felt okay when I tried them on, I was concerned that the narrowing towards the toes cause compression over the long haul. I had also hoped for more cushion in the metatarsal area.

I bought these in "honey" -- the two tone brown colors. Have received many compliments -- they are unique looking and, more importantly, so comfortable. Have worn them for 8-10 hours at a stretch with no problem. Also, the straps across the top are adjustable and there is extra padding where the ball of the foot is which adds to the comfort. Highly recommend.

This will be my 4th pair of Helle Tamara shoes, I have worn the for 7 years and they are just like brand new. They are so perfect for traveling and they were the best shoes when I worked and had to stand on my feet. So happy you have them in red!

This shoe is both dressy and very comfortable with good arch support. I'm 5'8, wear a size 8 shoe, have a rather wide foot and medium high arches, and a bunion on one foot. The leather is soft enough to not cause any pain on my bunion, the arches are very supportive and it's adjustable so it stays on my foot very well. Helle Comfort shoes are worth the money!

Just got these in the blue. They are very comfortable. Not too high of a heel. I wore them for the first time today and recieved 2 compliments on them right away. They are super cute and eye catching. They will go with just about everything this summer and they are cofortable enough to wear walking around town.
