Helle Comfort

Just love these shoes. Helle does a fine job of making a product that is comfortable and nice-looking. I would recommend any of their shoes.

I originally ordered a 40 in these shoes as that is my usual European size. They were too short. I then ordered a 41 and they're still too short. I've determined that the toe box is not built for people with longer toes, so no matter what your real size is and these probably won't work. They are beautiful, but they are going back.

Wow, cute and comfortable! I have a wide foot with a really high arch. Normally I take a 7 1/2 wide. I ordered both the 38 and 37. The 38 was a tad big, the 37 was a tad small. I kept the 38. because I thought it was better too big than too small. I absolutely love these. Tons of support. Thanks Zappos for you quick service, and free shipping. I wish I could get everything I need from Zappos. Love the videos. Thanks also to all the people who write reviews on Zappos - they really help with decision making.

This is a lovely shoe that runs a full size small and is a true M width with velcro straps. I previously bought a similar style and love them. I had major foot surgery and these are the best pair of casual shoes. The black rubber on back of the heel is great for driving. I will buy many more. Zappos exchange service is amazing!

I ordered a 40, which is my normal size for European shoes. This shoe felt a full 1/2 size too small. I don't know whether I should order the next size up because it's a 10. Maybe I'll try.

This shoe has style, with a nice height. However, the pattern of the embossed leather, on the pair I got, looks splotchy, and not as pretty as the one in the picture. I'm returning it. It has a good pad in the heel of the removable insert, though I didn't have it on long enough to really judge comfort. Also, I ordered a size 40, 9-9.5, but the box said size 40, 9.5 to 10, and the shoe did feel slightly long. The strap is adjustable, and fit my high instep fine. I wish I liked the leather, because it is otherwise a nice shoe.

Cute shoe, but it squeaks when you walk on a hard surface. No cushioning on foot bed, and not the usual Helle Comfort great arch support or comfort. Life's too short to wear uncomfortable shoes...they're going back.

This comfy, classy shoe looks equally great with jeans and dress slacks. I get compliments every time I wear them.

I purchased the eggplant Brea. The right shoe fit well and seemed as though it would be comfortable. To my surprise, the left shoe (usually the better fit because the left foot typically is a tad smaller than the right foot) was tight. Uon examination, the vamp on the left shoe was cut perceptibly higher and had a lower toe box than the right shoe (even my 88 year old Mom noticed the difference). I wonder whether this pair was a second. This is the second pair of shoes in two orders that had a perceptible structural difference between the left and right shoe (French Sole rejoice). Otherwise, attractive shoe and eggplant is a lovely color. Hate to return but just too weird to wear two different shoes.

Not a bad looking shoe, but it's overstated to use the word "comfort" in its name. I found these shoes a bit stiff.

These are lovely but very stiff in my regular size, no room in toes. I have a pair of sandals in my size and assumed the sizing was correct. These may be meant for a narrower foot.

I love these shoes! They're comfortable, funky, and shoes you can wear all day under any circumstances!

The bronze leather finish is beautiful, so unusual-- along with Helle's usual fine details. They go sporty with pants or nice with long skirts. These sandals are super comfortable with adjustable velcro closing. Perfect to wear after a pedi, when you can adjust for a little extra space!

Unfortunately I am returning this shoe. I love Helle shoes and have had a dozen pairs, but somehow this-Abilene did not feel quite right. So sorry I can not say exactly what it is. I have been trying them on every few days trying to make up my mind, but when in doubt, don't is what I go by. So I will be returning them. I did love the Tamra and will write a review.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and go with almost everything. I have over a dozen Helle Comfort shoes and love them all.

Extremely comfortable! The top of the shoe stretches making it very easy on my bunion. It runs true to size. If you've ever worn Helles before you will love this shoe

These shoes are very comfortable. The picture does not show it but the straps are slightly iridescent and the shoe is actually a dull grey/black. Overall a comfortable and stylish shoe.

I am very happy with these sandals. I had bought my at a local store which then went out of business. I was sad to think that I would not be able to get a replacement. Zappos had the brand and the style that I wanted. Thank you so much.

Comfortable from the moment I put them on. They are wide enough for my one bunion, but not too wide, and a very nice heel height.

Amazing comfort! I have major foot problems and this sandal can be worn with comfort. Walking and dancing in this sandal is the best ever. No issues of sore feet or wanting to remove the sandals for relief. You will love the comfort and great look this sandal gives you. I love wearing sandals or shoes with a heel but cannot always find the comfort. You can actually walk in these sandals with comfort!!!
