Overall:

These are really nice boots. I must confess that they do not seem at all like traditional biker boots. I actually purchased them for the purpose of everyday wear - for which they are perfect. I have worn them every day since I purchased them, and they are easy to get on and off because of the zippers. Also, as other reviewers have indicated, the leather is soft and there was no breaking in time. They fit true to size and do run narrow, as other reviewers have also indicated, which is perfect for me because I typically wear a AA.

Overall:

This is a good riding boot. It's very loose at the heel and where I normally buy a half-size larger than normal to accommodate thick socks, I bought my regular size and I still need an insert. Where my toes fit fine, my heel is all sloppy in it and I normally wear a B width. If you have big ankles, this will be a comfortable boot.

This is the most comfortable pair of boots that I have ever purchased. They fit like soft butter and they are so light weight. There was no break in time. They look great with jeans. The only complaint that I have is that I fly quite often and taking them off to go through security is a pain. Maybe soon we won't have to 'strip' to fly. I would recommend this boot if you are looking for a good looking boot with comfort.Customer Service is awesome. I called on Saturday to order them and I received them on Monday morning. I love Zappo's!!!

This is a great boot. I bought a pair for my husband a few years back in San Fransisco at the Harley shop and he loved them. I have just ordered another pair for Christmas. He had been hinting that he wanted another pair. We did go down a 1/2 size. I would recommend it to all. This is a great product for style and comfort. I love Zappos and will always be a loyal customer.

Great boot with a slim cut and round toe. They were a little tight on the top of my feet but I stretched them out. The leather is soft and supple. They look good with jeans, etc. Glad I bought these boots.

These boots are awesome! They do run a little big; it would have been nice to try a true six because I am a six so I would have had to order the five and a half, but it doesn't come in that size. Despite that I still found them really comfortable and they look great over jeans. The metal emblem is very cool looking and the leather is soft. Great buy!

I had owned similar boots years ago and wore them for so long, years actually, until I could no longer ignore the hole in the bottom; buried them somewhere in Europe. When I saw these on Zappos I knew I had found my favorite boots again. I hesitated only a bit because it was my first time buying shoes online, but after reading the reviews I was comfortable enough to make the purchase. The reviews are correct, the boots feel larger than they are. I usually buy size 9.5 in boots, but decide to try a size 9 and they fit perfectly. I love everything about these boots: the boot heel height, the soft leather and the zippers (although one zipper would have been enough, two is okay). Also Zappos customer service was awesome; made online shopping hassle free. Thanks.

I just received my Quartz boots from Zappos. I loved them and fit me perfect. My son said they look good and nice. They are comfortable and have a nice style about them. They are fabulous!

Love the boots! Great for those with larger calves. I wish they came in half sizes. I normally wear an 8 in Harley Davidson and my toe just barely touches the end when standing. I haven\'t decided whether to keep or return since there are no nines left.

I’m a New York City girl. I wanted a hip, urban look with maximum comfort. Girls, I’m in love. This Harley boot is uber urbane with that biker feel, but I wear it with Eileen Fisher clothes! This boot has a 2" stacked heel and has a bit of platform in front so you don’t feel your feet sliding forward as much. It is wide, so if you have duck feet, answer to your prayers. As soon as I put it on, ahhhhh. I wear Dansko clogs as my main shoe, so you know where I’m coming from. This boot’s rugged rubber soles will work on ice and snow. Wore it all day today (with arch support insole - enough room inside to accommodate). I have muscular calves, so they were a little snug around, but they loosened up. Because they have straps, I can tighten if they loosen too much. The leather on this tall-style boot is much softer than the ankle-length Harley boots. This is a plus. The leather on the ankle boots are so hard that it is like walking in a cast.

Comfortable right out of the box. The lacing gives you the ability to really fine tune the fit (like tightening the ankle without affecting the foot). The long zipper makes for really easy on-off, with a fit that stays nice and snug. Velcro flap cushions the zipper and protects the bike paint from any scratches. Design is a bit plain (all black), but it's nice if you want to keep a branding low profile.

This a great little pair of boots, a very good compromise between its much more expensive Frye competition. The zippers make for easy on and off and the size runs true to other HD shoes.

Totally fab! First I have to say that Zappos rocks! I wanted these for a trip I am taking soon and they sent them over night! Wow! What service! These are cool! They run a little small so I got a half size larger and they are perfect! Will wear them with jeans!

There are no words to describe these boots! I have 5 pair of HD boots and three are the Faded Glory. One is the high top, one is as pictured above and another in brown. My high tops, I've had at least 6 years, these boots are so worn and rough looking, they no longer pick up rocks! But still my favorites. I have been riding about 6 years, so most of the miles, over 10,000, I have put on them by riding my own bike, a Harley Davidson Low Rider. They have survived bike wrecks (one, quite serious), many road trips, not to mention year round riding. Although, I do keep the low tops at my BF, and seldom wear the brown, I also love the Badlands. They are not as heavy weight as the Faded Glory. Still, my favorites! My only complaint with these boots is the sizing. It's not real consistent. I wear generally wear a 6. Of the 5 pair of HD boots, 4 are riding boots and the sizes range between 5.5 and 6.5. Please check the measurements, as they typically run a bit large, but not always! Get 'em while you can, as they are hard to find!

These look pretty great and seem durable. The size seems OK, with minimal arch support. I\'m returning them because the leather, while attractive, is too stiff to be comfortable, and the opening is way too large around my rather trim ankles.

Excellent shoe. Very comfortable and durable. First pair lasted 4 years. Great for riding or walking. My lady is getting me a new pair for Christmas. I like the feel of wearing steel toed shoes when I ride.

I bought these because I was looking for a somewhat dressy everyday boot with a sole that would give me some grip on icy New England sidewalks. I haven\'t had a chance to sample icy weather yet, but this sole should be decent. I love the style - it is very much a classic Frye-harness-boot look. Another reviewer thought the toe looked funny. It is very much a square toe western boot style - doesn\'t look funny at all if that\'s the look you want. The shoe is very narrow through the body. If your feet tend to be at all wide these will pinch horribly. Don\'t even think about wearing thick socks. I\'m still breaking these in. I wear them for only an hour or so at a time; after that they start to hurt my feet. Part of it is that I never wear heels, and these have a bit of one, so my weight feels like it\'s being borne by the sides of my feet as I\'m shoved forward into the boot - but I bet if I wore high heels a lot my feet would be more used to that sensation. There is not a lot of cushion or arch support. However, there is no cramping in the toe area and no rubbing at the heels. I wear a solid size 9 and found the sizing to be accurate.

I love these shoes. I am a Bartender, and I spend long hours on my feet. I never have a problem. They have a little height, which is nice with jeans and slacks. I wear them out, and then I buy a new pair. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
