Kept coming back to the Globe Fusion after I had already bought a pair of Nikes. Finally bought them, and I'm glad I did. They look fantastic. They are a bit stiff and definitely need a break-in period.

I've been a Globe wearer for at least 5 years, I easily choose these over DC for comfort (though DC has wider color palette for style). I usually go for the all black pair but my size choice 10.5 or 11 is usually sold out when it comes time for a new pair. I've luckily been able to receive my last two pairs as gifts. I'll be choosing the black with white accents for the next one. I would grade comfort a little less (but won't) because I generally wear the sneaker in situations probably not intended - as an all purpose shoe and do not use for skating (I don't skate). I work 8 hours on my feet and this might not be the best for long term wear, followed by further wear time during social activities. These shoes are also not good if there are spills on an interior or smooth floor as they do slip on wet surfaces. This probably goes without saying but it's not very good for hiking. But again, I still go with 5 stars because this is my favorite sneaker. I'm getting older now and want to get out of wearing skate shoes (especially since I don't skate), but it's just too hard. I really like the style and fact that the tongue is stationary to make these practically slip ons! I have not tied a pair of these yet. The only downside is that my current pair didn't last as long as I would have liked. The material started cracking and for the first time ever I've actually gotten holes on the sides of both shoes and one in the front. Could that be because they've gotten wet too many times? Possibly. Could it be because I wear them at least 16 hours a day (work and play)? Probably. It could very well have just been a bad pair.

I love them. They are very comfortable. The removable insole is key for me as I wear orthotics. It is hard to find a skate board type shoes with removable insoles. These are nicely padded and I get lots of compliments when I wear them.

Strong quality, and stylish. These are built to last and look great, pretty comfortable. Not sure about skating because the sole is narrower than the top.

First of all, I cannot express how excited I was to get these. The CT-IV was my favorite and only shoe I would wear in High School. I had emailed Globe many times over the last 12 years and they would never tell me if they were going to re-release the shoes. I then found out from my friend that the re-released them! It only took a couple week of begging and pleading with my wife to let me buy them. These are the most comfortable shoes you can buy, basically it is like walking on a cloud or a sheep’s back, I will probably be buying another pair. My only complaint is that they are not in all the glorious colors that they were back in the day. I would definitely recommend these shoes to any, and everyone! Get them, love them, buy more of them.

Great shoes. Quality made. Holding up well to my 10 year old. Size runs a little small.

This model gets better with every iteration, and the latest is no exception. The impact-dampening in the heel is ridiculously good, the sock liner construction is super-comfy, and the roomy toe-box is always appreciated. These shoes are probably the best thing to ever come out of Australia. The only criticism I can levy is that the lace style is odd for the lacing system.

Three month update. The shoes look great but they are starting to fall apart. A hole appearing in the toe and padding in the back inner heel is disintegrating making it painful to walk in. These shoes do not have much longer for this world. They were not made to last. I am disappointed.

I tried multiple sizes of this shoe with no luck. These shoes were awfully uncomfortable, due to a weird bend on the toe. When I walked, the toe on the shoe bent down into my toes and it hurt. I tried to put up with it but it was too painful.

I have older feet which are changing so I need more room in shoes. A 9 1/2 would be better for me as they slip in the back. But the half size would restrict my foot and hurt the top of my feet. So I went with the size 10. These shoes look great and I will live with the larger size plus socks. Younger feet will like these shoes a lot.

This shoe fits well and is great for the wind tunnel! Probably not the most comfortable for being on your feet all day, but comfortable for leisure.

Awesome shoes and super comfy. The throwback look and carbon fiber detailing really makes the shoes stand out. These tend to run a little bit smaller than other globes I've purchased in the past, so you may want to order a size larger. I wear a 14 and I have plenty of room in the toe area, but I think I'm going to order another pair in a 15 to see if there's a noticeable difference. Also, these shoes have the cursive "Ellis Mate" inside the shoe and are definitely a way to support Ellis Fam and Red Dragons.

I have to say, that these are the best slippers. I have purchased 3 pairs over the last 4 years. The last pair I bought seemed a bit snug, so I called to exchange them and I received the replacement pair in just a day and a half, I was very surprised at the simplicity of the whole process. I just wish more on-line companies were as efficient. Great job Zappos! Thanks.

Bought these for my 15 year old and they are great. He loves them! Great quality. Can be worn to dress something up or casual.

Classic example of the "fluffy" skate shoes that you used to have no problem finding. However, even though the old school style is still available the fit isn't. The toe box on these is very narrow. I have very wide feet and these used to be a good option...not anymore. Seems like almost every shoe they are making today in styles you would actually want to wear are super narrow.

If you have bought these in the past you will know that if it comes with wide laces the shoe is wide, but since Zappos does not give you the option I will let you know you will get the thin laces which means the shoe is not only more narrow it is also smaller in every aspect than the wide laced versions.

I bought these for my boyfriend. He says they're the most comfortable thing ever. Zappos has the best customer service I have ever dealt with too. They acknowledged my address change request a half an hour or less after I emailed it. I got both pairs of shoes I ordered promptly and at the proper address. My roommates and I are all regular customers of Zappos. Great selections, prices and of course, customer service. Thanks again everyone at Zappos.

Had these shoes for a little over a year and a half. Sole ripped off and the sides burst from me bending my feet. For skate shoes these did not hold up like they should have, seeing as I don't skate, Also the sole is very thin and breaks down fast. Shoe looks good though. Only other problem I had with them is the right shoe stabbed my pinky toe and rubbed into it.

The stitching around the top edge of the upper came unraveled after one day of light indoor-only walking around the house. The unraveling started on the outside edge of the stitching, at the "front left" corner of the opening for the left foot, and proceeded about 1/3 the way around the front edge, like a zipper. The shoe just kind of fell apart and flopped off mid-stride (walking). Thank goodness for Zappos' super easy returns ... going back out the door after just one day of use. The fit was nice, a bit narrow but not too narrow, and more arch support than I expected, which is to say, moderate arch support. I loved the herringbone fabric look. But I'll replace with a different brand/model since I'm not confident in the quality of the construction.

Very good looking shoe and fairly comfortable. Flat sole the same as all skateboarding shoes so I recommend an insole for extra comfort. One thing to note is that the tongue of the shoe will be completely covered by the laces when laced up fully which is ashamed because the logo on the front is actually pretty cool. Otherwise very unique and looks so fly.
