Globe Reviews
I've had these shoes since last November and they are possibly the most comfortable casual shoes I've ever worn. They hug your feet like a glove and the outer material is durable.
This is my first Globe shoe experience. I was wondering what took me so long to find out about them. I am in love with my shoes! They fit like no other shoe. Literally hug your feet like gloves. I will be sticking with Globe shoes for the rest of my life. :)
This is my third pair of the Globe Tilt. Great shoes. They last a long time and only take 1 day to break in. Zappos is awesome as always. Best online store in the world!
I wear a 10.5 in all other shoes. Size 11 fits great. These are my go to slip on's for around town here in PDX.
I've owned a pair of the Globe Pulse before buying my current pair from Zappos. They are a very comfortable and durable shoe. I used to wear my old pair daily for over a year and a half and they are still in one piece. I bought a different color scheme this time around and I get a lot of compliments for them. The black "carbon fiber" stripes are a nice, subtle touch. The shape itself is somewhere between an old-school running shoe and a skate shoe without looking too chunky. Overall a nice shoe for casual wear.
My son has worn Globes for the past 10 years. He loves the fit and look but we had to exchange these as they run 1/2 size small.
Globe shoes are the best in our opinion. They provide the best support and last longer than any other brand that we've tried. And they are very comfortable!
I bought these shoes around a month ago and they're already falling apart badly. I ride a freestyle scooter near daily, and by the middle of my second week having these shoes, the sole of the right shoe had separated from the shoe itself. It's very easy to just pull the white part of the sole away from the shoe itself. From the heel to the middle of the shoe it had just pulled away. The white rubber strip along the sole scuffs and stains quite badly, and the stripes on the sides are very prone to scratches and dirt as well. The stripes are only a thin layer of white which can be scuffed off fairly easily. The rubber "Globe" logos on the heels have fallen off as well. They feel cheaply made. On the plus side of things, the shoes are very comfortable and feel great to ride in. Nice amount of support and cushion, and the style looks really good. The fit really allows you to feel what you're riding, be it a scooter, skateboard, etc. They feel true to size. If these shoes were more durable, I would absolutely love them. Based on the quality of the pair I've received, I could in no way recommend these shoes for someone who intends to have a long-term pair of shoes to ride and walk in daily. As general, light walking shoes they may hold up a bit better, but take into consideration durability if you intend to use them for any heavier activity.
Not much arch support, nothing some Scholls inserts cant fix though. These shoes are awesome, way comfortable, way stylin'. I have the grey with black and true red, so nice. One thing to note, the tongue of the shoe is attached at the front ankle, so they go on like slippers and are tightened with laces. You cant go wrong. I ordered a ten because all my other shoes fit as a size 10 (LL Bean, Merrell, Teva) and they fit perfectly. Get a shoe you like, I like these.

Overall: Comfort: Style:
The quality of this shoe has gone down massively in the last 2 years since I purchased my last shoe. The ankle dip is raised higher so it now rubs; all padding seems significantly thinner and cheaper, the cushioning in the shoe seems less bouncy, and the tongue is smaller and thinner. I now have to go through the pain of finding another brand of shoe after I was very happy with these previously. What a pain.
Love this board! Its really cool but a little stiff on the turns. Other then that the ride is really smooth and makes it great for getting around.
These are great shoes but you will need to get used to them. They seem very tight at first (I even ordered a bigger size than I usually would) but after wearing them awhile they break in nicely. They don't breathe real well either. On the plus side I like the cushioning, look and durability of these shoes. If you give these shoes some time before deciding if you like them or not, I think you'll find that you will like them over time.
Love this shoe! Very comfortable and stylie! Sort of a cross between a skate and a boat shoe.
When I first tried them on I was afraid they would be too big. My foot measures 11.5 and I had to order size 12. But after wearing them around the house for a few days they have become my favorites. Highly recommend!
I am the reviewer from December 23, 2011 and February 18, 2013. After the 7.5's (my normal size) were insanely too small I ordered an 8 (in a different color though) and they felt true to size for an 8 (which is too big for me, slides off my feet). I'm so frustrated that the 7.5's were so tiny I don't understand what the deal is. I wish Zappos would get the colorway I want in my size back in stock, otherwise I might try ordering from the manufacturer website. Love Zappos and their return/exchange policy is great, just bummed that I can't seem to find my size in this shoe anymore!
These shoes are awesome. The felt about a half size smaller (I wear a 13) but not small enough for me to be uncomfortable. Very stylish and seem of quality. The night after I got them I wore them to a house party and had probably 7 or 8 girls tell me how nice they were. That alone right there is worth the money these things cost.
Sometimes it is hard to turn, and difficult to get into a slide. However amazing cruising and once you are in the slide, it is easy to complete. It is the right length for just about everything, and grip tape keeps your feet in. It does not have much flex but are incredibly stable. Overall, this is a very nice board that looks amazing
The Sabres were my first pair of Globes (Black/Black/White HO 12.) I absolutely love how they feel. The built-in sock and ankle support is great. I went on to purchase a pair of Fusions and a pair of Libertys shortly after the Sabres. I love the Fusions as much as the Sabres and I intend to purchase them in more colors. The Libertys do not fit me quite as well and have less support.
I have had the Fusions for about a month. I love the support the inner sock provides. I also bought a pair of the Sabres, which feel a tiny bit more comfortable, but not by much. I am considering buying a few more pairs of the Fusions in different colors. I currently have the Charcoal, Griffin, and White Fusions in size 10.
Retro, super light weight and breathable due to mesh exterior. Little to no break in period and most importantly, very comfortable as always with the Globe brand (I wear a 9 and it fits like a 9). Totally unique color, grey with navy strip and red globe logo pops on front, rear and sole but in subtle manner. You won't find this color scheme again. Collectable.
