Deerskin lining- Gentle Souls´ shoes uses supple and breathable deerskin-lined insoles providing softness and comfort while conforming to the shape of your foot. It is durable and will not stretch or crack when wet. Deerskin is normally found on gloves, jackets or shoe uppers. The deerskin-lined insole is unique to Gentle Souls shoes and sandals!
Flaxseed Memory Pillows- Flaxseed pillows are embedded in the footbed of Gentle Souls shoes to mold to the shape of your foot and provide cushioned support. The flaxseed ¨memory pillows¨ are somewhat similar to beanbags as they redistribute and adjust to the shape of your foot with every step.
Padding- Under the deerskin lining there is a memory foam developed by NASA; Poron®. This foam does not break down and maintains its shape over time.
Granulated Cork- This layer located under the Poron® helps with shock absorption when walking on hard surfaces.
Rubberized Outsole- Sometimes fused with leather, rubberized outsoles are flexible and great for traction on hard surfaces.

Loved these shoes - just got them today so have only worn them around the house but wow, so comfortable. I'm going on a trip with lots of walking and with these shoes I won't have to be in flats each day. So excited! What a find. They do not feel wide to me and I do not have wide feet.

Very cute and, wow, so comfortable, but like every previous review, there is no buckle on the ankle and they run very wide. Very sad but have to send them back. I have skinny narrow feet...my feet were swimming in these shoes. If you have wide feet &/or ankles, then this shoe is for you.

Most comfortable and stylish platforms ever! The footbed is supportive and the base of the platform is wide enough that you can walk confidently without teetering. I'm a 60 year old and still want some style, but don't want the discomfort. These are worth every penny.

I bought these shoes for a trip where we will be walking. They were comfortable and I love the minimalist design but the neutral color looked awful with my skin tone. I hoped they would be great on all so I would only have to take one pair but my olive skin was not a match.

I love this shoe and will be exchanging for a smaller size. There's no adjustments to any of the straps so it's important for it to start out fitting right.

Love, love, love these shoes. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I was so glad to find them. I guess I do have feet on the wider side and these fit me perfectly. I am looking forward to wearing them all summer long!
I'd also recommend: Dansko, Keen, Birkenstock
