I love my new boots! I originally had ordered the Melissa button boots, but found these as the heel gave my 5 1/2 stature a little more of a boost. I am a runner and have very muscular calves. Initially they were snug, but they are now wonderful. I have worn them with straight leg jeans, cords, and leggings and have received tons of compliments! As always, Zappos VIP never lets me down with their prompt delivery and easy returns!

These are absolutely beautiful boots; I bought them almost the second Zappos had them. However, the circumference measurement of 15" is incorrect; it's close to 14" (and didn't fit me). Footbed felt great, but I'm not looking for these to scrunch, I want them to be knee-high. Back they go. Can't wait for an extended size in these.

I tried these and the short version on in black. I loved the tall height, but found the short height impractical with matchstick and bootcut style pants. I wear a size 10 and have slightly wide feet. There was plenty of width up top, but the foot felt ever so slightly narrow. I wonder if anyone could report if they stretch out like most Fryes? In the end, I returned them for now, but will probably get them eventually. I guess I am thinking ahead to spring and did not think that I needed a third pair of tall Fryes right now! The heel height is extremely comfortable; looks great (especially on size 10 feet) but you do not feel the height as you walk.

Love, love, love these boots. I got the cognac in my regular size and wore them for an entire day right out of the box. They are just gorgeous. and are probably my favorite Fryes yet. I have the natural color Mellisa button, black Logo riding, Brown Harness, Dark brown Jane, and on and on, but these have already become my go-to-boot! The Jackie button is sleek through the foot, with a great height heel, just enough to give an elegant line, without being too much for a lot of walking. The shaft is tall and narrow enough to work with my 13 inch calves; they aren't snug, but not gappy and fit skinny jeans inside. Because they are tall boots they might not be great on short legs. They come right up to my knee and I'm 5'9. Worth every penny--they'll last forever.

I love these boot! They bunch up a little at the ankle, which is what I wanted. Zappos is great, they were here one day after I ordered them. I do not know how they do it!

These boots are beautiful and the Cognac color is perfect! All of my other boots are flat, but these are surprisingly comfortable despite the heel. I do think they run a half size large, but I had to wear them as soon as they arrived, so I simply wear them with thicker socks!

These boots fit well. They are slightly stiff, more than expected. They run true to size. This is a good price for quality boots.

Beautiful boot. Very comfortable. Only caveat is that these are too wide to wear under pants (even boot cut jeans) so they are strictly for skirts and over skinny jeans.

Beautiful boot but unfortunately it was way too tight around my calves. I had to struggle to pull them up completely and then struggle again to take them off.

These are great boots! They fit true to size however narrow at the toe, which was strange because I have notoriously narrow feet. Like really skinny narrow feet. The 7½ was too narrow at the toe. So strange. I am ordering them again in an 8 to see if that is any better.

These boots are gorgeous. They fit beautifully over jeggings or slim jeans, with just a bit of room to spare. I am tall, with long legs, and I like where these hit in relation to my knee. They fit true to size: I got a 9 and it is not necessary for me to wear an extra pair of socks. They are quite tight in the heels, but they are loosening up as I break them in. The hardest part is taking them off: they have no zip so they have to be tugged off, and it can be quite a production. The bottoms are too slick for comfort on rain or snow. I will have the soles replaced eventually. Overall I love them, and I will turn to them more as the weather improves!

I was hesitant to pay this much for a pair of boots, but these are definitely the most comfortable leather boots I've owned. These blew my Nine West boots out the water! I'm able to wear these for 9-10 hours a day without issue. I was considering the Melissa button, but I like that these have a bit of a heel. Definitely worth the investment!

I have never been disapointed with a pair of Fryes I kept...this is no exception. I did get one half size down. If it wasn't so extravagent, I'd get one in each color. My first pair of Frye with a heel.

I first purchased these boots in black. I really haven't had high boots in quite a while. The fit of these boots was unbelievable and comfortable. I am only 5 feet tall and most boots are too high at the top. These boots are just the best. When I saw this color I had to buy a second pair and I am so happy that I did. Thank you, Zappos, for carrying FRYE Boots. I just love them!

I am sad to have to return these, they are too tight around the calves, it is 14" not 15" in shaft circumference! I am 5'2" and 130 pounds and athletic, very fit and I could not get them past my calves. Everything else was wonderful, soft, great height in the heel, bendable sole, great style, just perfect otherwise. Chocolate brown is really really dark, so make sure that is what you want. The picture is true to its color.
