These are so cute and the color is a perfect light neutral but I'm sending them back because the top rim(?) hits my bone in the wrong place. The woven quality has a lot of give to it so they are worth a try. They are well made.

Love these shoes! I had to wear them for a short time a couple of times to break in the backs but they are now my "go to" wear with everything shoes! Made well and worth the money!

I bought these shoes in size 11 in the red color. The width and overall sizing felt true to size. I returned these shoes for two reasons: First, the color appears to be a cherry red in the photos online, but when I opened the box, it was a much more faded red instead. I probably could have overlooked that, but when I tried them on I ran into the second reason for returning: these shoes were not comfortable at all! The woven texture ate at the back of my heel immediately. With socks, it was a bit better, but I don't think I could have worn them for more than a few hours. With some wear I might be able break these in, but for the price, I'm not willing to take the risk. Definitely a cute shoe, just too expensive for what it is.

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

I found this shoe to run true to size. It is well made, but I did find it rather expensive. I, too, wonder how comfortable it will be over the long run, but decided to keep them.

I didn't think it would be possible to make such an uncomfortable Frye shoe. I've got the Veronica Slouch and a pair of pumps, all sized 8.5 and super comfy. These flats are tight and rub in the worst places, so I'm hoping a size 9 will work out better. They are exactly what I've been looking for in a summer-time flat, so hopefully the bigger pair will be comfortable!

These are not the most comfortable pair of shoes I have bought. The left shoe is too small and the right is too large, never had such a difference in size like this. Also the rim of the shoe pushes on the knuckle of my big toe, I hate shoes that do that. Would I recommend these? No. Maybe I just got a messed up pair, but I am disappointed at my first Frye purchase.

I love this shoes. I've had them about a month and wear them all the time. They look good, they're well-made (I got them soaking wet yesterday and today they still look like new), and they go with a lot of things. I thought they cost a lot until I checked out similar shoes online. I saw similar shoes listed at $300 and more. After that these didn't seem so expensive! Another big plus for me is they stay on my feet! I have narrow, flat feet and most B-width ballet-type shoes just fall off them. These shoes are so flexible I think they would accommodate almost any foot shape. These shoes were comfortable for me from the minute I put them on, but (judging from a couple of other reviews I read) if you have soft, uncalloused feet you might have to wear these for short periods for a few days to get your feet used to them.

I know people were complaining about these a lot, but I really love them! I had a blister on my right foot after my second time wearing them, but that's not really a deal breaker. I was on my feet for 13 hours in them and they felt just fine! They have pads on the bottom so they're super comfy. I have a pair of Frye boots that are a size 6 and a little loose, so I got these in a 5.5 and they're good. I know they're expensive, but Frye lasts forever so I knew it was a good investment.

I believed the reviews that said true to size but it was quite large. I'm typically a 7.5 and this was falling off my foot at the first step. Gorgeous shoe, very well made, worth the price, so I've reordered in a 7.

One shoe was bigger than the other, both were too big, no support, 'floppy' and these shoes would look 'messy' in no time. I love Frye leather and their styles, but I would only get these if they were inexpensive and think of them as disposable. Needless to say, I sent mine back. I love Zappos!

I just got the cognac and love the shoe. I'm definitely going through a break in period (worn them 2 times so far), they're a little rough on the back of my ankles and I have been wearing Band Aids to avoid blisters, but feel like with a few more wears, they'll soften up. They're a great color that goes with a lot and have cushioning on the heel and ball of the foot. Others said they run big, but for me, i bought my normal size (8), and they fit fine. The 7.5 was too small.

I would agree with a lot of the other reviews, very cute shoe, I especially love it with jeans. It's a classic style, the woven leather adds a little extra class. Sizing, I'm normally a 7.5, I ordered a pair of sevens as well. The 7.5's fit perfectly. Saying that, the woven leather has given a little in the three days I've been wearing them, so if you can't decide between sizes think about that. They conform to my feet beautifully, again, the weaving flexes to fit your foot. The texture of the weaving does take some getting used to, I wore them around the house a day before I wore them outside. I also wore a couple of band aids on my heels to prevent blisters. So, yeah, you aren't going to slip them on and have them feel like slippers, but to me, on day four, they feel pretty damn good. They are so cute and versatile it was worth the extra babying. The cushioning in the sole is nice, and they stay on my feet. Gorgeous quality, too, like little works of art!

So comfortable, totally worth the money. they feel like slippers, are cuter than sandals, and are great walking shoes. They match everything! Maybe not the most supportive, but I've worn them every single day since I bought them (2 months now). Fryes for the win!

This shoe is cute but it does not fit my foot. Like the other reviewers I ordered my size 7.5 and it was huge even with a foot pad. So I was sure the 7 would be perfect but it was way too tight across the toes. Going back to Zappos.

The 'blush' color is light pink. I should have guessed from the name, but from the picture I thought it was a nude color. The shoes fit true to size but I could tell they would take time to break-in. I would like immediate softness and comfort from an expensive pair of shoes. Also, the look is kind of burlap/straw. I thought it might be a little more like perforated leather.
