Love these boots! They are nice enough to wear in my business casual work environment and look cute with a skirt. My calves are not skinny and these boots don\'t cut into my calves at all, very comfortable on the leg. Sole is very solid, but with decent socks, I\'ve had no discomfort wearing them all day. True to size. I have four pair of Frye boots and this pair is the same quality and comfort I\'ve come to expect.

These boots are Kickin! Fryes has outdone themselves!! Subtly Sexy and uber comfortable. I own 5 pair of Frye boots, all Awesome, but these are the BEST! I cannot recommend these highly enough. Skirts, jeans, whatever, you cannot go wrong. These boots give you confidence and panache!! MEE-OWW!!!

I have to completely agree with the other reviews. These boots are wonderful! I put them on right out of the box (without socks) and they feel like I have worn them for years, no "breaking in" needed. I ordered a size 9 (I'm usually 9 or 9.5) and they fit perfect. I usually do not wear socks and I don't see that as a problem at all with these boots. I love them.

Love these boots! They dress up or down and are feminine, rugged, and so comfy (wearing them as I write this). The leather is wonderfully textured and pebbly-looking. The harness details add to the "zing", and the touch of hardware give just enough spark. "5" stars all around for this smart, confident little boot! Thank you Zappos.

This is by far the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. I went shopping for eight hours the first day I wore them and they were comfortable from the start. Love the distressed leather and they smell so good. Bought the brown. Also like the fact that the shaft is wide enough to tuck my pants in. The only downside is that they do not come in black. If they did I would buy those too. Seriously thinking about trying the grey since that is the closest thing to black they make. They are expensive, but my motto is always you get what you pay for. These are very well made and I am sure they will last a long, long time.

I agree with the other reviews; these boots are AWESOME!!! This is my first pair of Frye\'s, and I am in love! I am petite, but have very muscular calves and never thought I could wear this type of boot. These are very generously sized for thick-calved gals (even a little larger circumference than descibed). Sizing was a little tricky, though. I am usually a 7.5 or 8, so I tried both. The 8\'s slipped in the heel, and the 7.5\'s were snug at first (in the toe box). I kept the 7.5\'s, as I learned they stretched to a comfortable fit within just a few days of wearing them around the house. The quality of the leather is superb, so it is soft enough to break-in, yet strong enough to last a lifetime. . .well worth the money!. . .and of course, Zappos\' service is 2nd to none! :-)

I love these boots. I bought them in amethyst and the color is beautiful. I own several pairs of Frye boots and these are one of my favorites. Although they are comfortable, they seem to run smaller than the other styles I have.

These boots are just what I was looking for! I picked up these in the brown, love the color and style. The toe is just the right design, not pointy but not square. These look great with jeans. Very comfortable right out of the box and true to size for me. I always choose size 10 in shoes and 10 was again the right fit for me. And the quality of the leather is outstanding. Smells awesome like another reviewer stated! Would also like to see these in Black. Considering the grey! Thanks Zappos, excellent as always. Received the day after ordering!

I just recieved the gray version of these and they are absolutely amazing. I put them on and I felt like a soundtrack started playing. They're extremely comfortable right out of the box, true to size, with that already broken-in look right away. I am in love.

I love these boots! What surprised me the most is how comfortable they are out of the box. I ordered my usual size (8.5) and they fit perfectly. The amethyst is an unusual color that goes well with a lot of things (seems to work a bit like a brown). Durable, well made, comfortable. The heel makes them a little sexier and more feminine than the regular harness boot.
