I ordered these boots at 4:30pm yesterday and received them today! I couldn't believe they arrived that fast. I got these boots in the Smoke color. I love them!! It is a beautiful brown and they look perfectly worn in. I have these boots in tall in the Gray color. The leather on those looks more pebbled, and the Smoke is a smooth leather. I have the tall in a size 8, but read some of the reviews on here saying over time the leather would stretch out a little. I got these in a 7.5 and they fit great! I honestly can't afford these boots, but they are so awesome! I have to keep them! :)

I absolutely love these boots! I have them in 4 colors already. Some of the other Frye boots I had to order 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear but these are more true to size. They are so comfortable, right out of the box and require no break-in period. The heel height is just perfect. Great job Frye!

These boots are great! I had originally ordered them in my regular size, a size 7 and they didn't fit right so I returned them. Several months later I still wanted them so I ordered 1/2 size larger and I love them! They are so comfortable, right out of the box. They look great with jeans, very stylish.

I am completely in love with my Carmen shorts. I have the black waxed suede and the leather smoke. Both are amazing. Super comfortable, I have worn them out shopping and at work on my feet all day with no sore feet. No break-in time, these were great from the start. My other Fryes (Veronica short) took a bit of time to loosen up. These boots are wonderful for dressing up an outfit, even jeans and a tee feels sexy in these. The quality is top-notch, these babies will last a lifetime.

These boots are the best! The shaft is the perfect height because my calves are very big and I can't fit into taller boots, but these are very roomy. The heel height is great, too; perfect for going out shopping or out at night. Need to be broken in a bit (like any good pair of boots), but after they are very comfy.

At the end of my first day wearing the boots, the backs of my heels felt like they were going to blister. They never did, but I put band-aids on my heels the next day just in case. The second day of wearing them they felt fine and I proceeded to wear them 4 days straight. I guess they just needed to be broken in. The burnt red is a tad darker than the picture, but they still look great. I really like the worn in look on the toe and heel. I haven't worn red boots since I was a kid, so I was a little hesitant at first, but they go with everything. They almost act like a neutral. I wear slim straight jeans over my boots and I don't have the problem of the shaft showing under the pant leg.

I have never owned cowboy style boots before, but these are great! They have excellent padding in the footbed, are very easy to pull on, and are wide enough in the shaft that they can accommodate those of us with larger legs and still leave a little wiggle room. The leather is beautiful and perfectly worn, and still be flexible. If you are on the fence about these, do not hesitate. They are well worth the money. Beware of trying them on while on carpet because they are quite slick when they are new.

Received my Burnt Red Frye boots next day and love the color and style. I did order a 1/2 size up because I do also have them in brown from about a year ago and they were very uncomfortable to put on and take off, so I decided to go up. Glad I did. They fit much better and are more comfortable. The color is not bright red; it is more subtle and does have the darker shade on toe and heel which looks great. I already put on my Frye wax to protect them and have worn them twice this week and even though they're on the expensive side, I hope they will last a long time. Thanks once again Zappos for a quick and easy delivery.

First of all, I have many, many pairs of boots, including 2 pairs of Frye boots. These are, by far, the best made, most comfortable boots I have ever owned. They are also very stylish and flattering and I am also buying the same style in black!

Love this boot. Few brands equal Frye's quality. The leather smells and looks great. I normally wear a 9 1/2 and ordered a 10. Perfect fit. Be warned that you need a larger boot cut cuff if you do not want this boot to show under your pant leg. It is bulky in the shaft. Looks great and not flashy under the pant leg. Super cute with skinny jeans tucked into the boot. The shaft is a bit stiff if you are not used to walking in a mid-calf boot, as others have complained, but what would you expect? Great boot. My first pair of Frye's. I am in love!

I love these boots! I purchased the dark brown and they are amazing. I wear size 7 1/2 or 8. I ordered the 8 and they are perfect leaving me with like 1/4 inch for socks. They are true to size. It only took one day to break them in and they are super comfy. I find myself putting them on around the house, just to have a reason to wear them. The leather quality is the best and the color is very rich and is darker than it appears in the picture. These were my first pair of Frye boots and worth every penny.

I've been waiting for this to come back into stock for over two years, in my size and with the correct color combination that I wanted. I originally had to order these directly from the Frye website and ended up with the wrong size (7, which was way too small as the leather will stretch, but not a half size!) and had to pay for shipping back and forth and the tax! I am so happy that Zappos alerted me when they did arrive in stock as even the Frye website is sold out! I ordered a 7½, which is what I normally wear with any shoe. The only time I ever purchase an 8 would be if the shoe is too narrow - which these boots are not, on me. The 7½ fit perfectly. I have heard lots of people say your heel will lift up slightly in the back like a Dansko clog, but I would say that this does not have to be so. My heel does not lift up or rub in the back: it just feels like the shoe fits my foot like a normal shoe or boot would. Sometimes I have a problem with sizing because one foot is larger than the other, but these feel great on both feet! I love the warm chocolate brown color, although I preferred the matte finish as opposed to the more waxed/shined look, since it seems to give off more of a grey/cool hue in person. It is not too snug in the toe or sides either, just a perfect fit! I will not even need to break these in as they feel perfect the way they are now. These are great investment pieces for me! Very cute. Greyish brown color for the storm color. 8.5 fits my 8.5 size foot just perfectly. I do have a slightly narrow, thin (as opposed to thick) foot and with a regular sock my foot does not feel sloppy inside. They are a little 'heavy duty' looking (and I have another pair so similar) so I will return for a different style, but I will get another Frye since these were so comfortable.
