Frye Campus Zip 10 - I have a million pairs of shoes and boots. They are getting dusty...I wear these almost every day. They are the best purchase I have ever made. They look great, feel great, are great. I have high insteps so the campus 14's that I tried did not even go on. The zip fixed that problem. Seriously, the BEST!!!

In search of a Classic? I bought this boot January '04 for $80 from Sierra Trading Post. My shoe size is an 8 1/2 so I ordered that size; it was at least a full size too large in length, width was fine. The boot is extremely comfortable and warm. Usually, I wear very thick socks with them during the short winter in the South because they are too big for me. As for the looks, great with khakis, long skirts, denim, and no, they don't make me look like a dressed-up cowgirl. I normally don't wear this type of boot but, I remembered Frye boots from the 60's when I couldn't afford them and always wanted a pair.

Worth the money - I've always wanted a pair of these boots, and I'm glad I finally got them. They are a little bit tough to break in, but they softened up by the third wearing. I've gotten compliments from girls and guys (go figure!) and they look terrific with jeans. They felt too big at first, but then I realized they are perfect with moderately thicker socks, which I need in colder weather.

These are serious boots... These are awesome! The best quality you can imagine, best leather, solid sole... a serious pair of boots. I got these because I am tired of messing with boots that are poor quality for a low price. Zappos shipped super-fast! I got the 7M in blazer brown. I have a kinda wide foot and the M fit fine. I love these and they will last a long time! Super thrilled!

Very comfortable, casual looking boot. Excellent for wearing with slacks or jean. The sizes really do run large - I wear anything from a 8.5 to 10 sometimes depending on the shoe. I ordered an 8.5 and it was a perfect fit. I even put in arch supports (which normally means I need to go up a size - but that was not necessary with these).

Excellent BOOT! These boots are excellent. The quality and craftsmanship made them seem like a piece of art when I pulled them from the box, and you could smell the quality of the leather. I ordered the Zip 10 because the shafts that were higher came too close to my knee and were uncomfortable (I'm 5'2). I found the 10" to be the perfect height (about mid calf). I can see how people own the same pair for decades- they're great boots.

American Classic - I have wanted a pair of Fryes for as long as I can remember. I finally bit the bullet and purchased the Campus 10 Zip. They are a lot more versatile than many of the other styles. It is hard to find any good quality shoes that are made in the USA and these fit the bill. Great boots, a little over priced though.

Size up for broader feet! Despite not taking a half size smaller these boots absolutely killed my feet. They are very narrow in the toe box and for this reason I getting rid of my size 8 (my usual size) and sizing up to a 9 or 9.5.

These are some serious boots. Worth EVERY penny. If you are on the fence due to the price, just go ahead and buy them! You will not be sorry. I had to wait awhile for my size to come back in (size 8) but it was worth the wait. These are true to size. I always liked my boots a touch bigger for thicker socks. You will feel awesome in these boots, so be ready to be awesome!

Ok, I confess I only purchased a pair to try them on! Now I'm seriously considering keeping them, they are so versatile and sensible and still stylish in that classic Frye way. I have a pair in 7.5 and I got these in 7 (with the 7.5 I can wear very thick hiking socks). I don't know if I'll get blisters, but I'm wearing them at home for a while before I step out in them. I admit to being a Campus gal from now on.

I have been secretly coveting these Frye shoes for a few months/years. But I was hesitant to pull the trigger. Finally I did and I am so thrilled. I bought these in a 10 because I decided I can always add socks or an insole if they were too big. They are perfect. I have a pretty high instep and I think the extra room gives me just enough wiggle I don't feel bandaged. I got the blazer brown and they are the perfect rugged but sill nice brown. I've worn them to work a few times and while the leather is indeed stiff at first they soften up nicely and look like a million bucks. I have very heavy athletic calves and short legs and these hit me about two inches below mid shin, zip all the way and don't dig in.

I love these boots. they are perfect with jeans. Very well made. Classic style. I have the pull on Campus boots. Have had for 10 years and they are great. I wanted a shorter pair for wearing to work all day. These are perfect. They are also my go-to boots for wet or cold weather because they keep your feet pretty dry. They are a bit stiff and require some break in time.
