These boots are so comfortable. I ordered my true size, and they fit perfectly. The shaft is a little wide, but a great height for me. I am 5'4" and sometimes the higher shafts hit at the wrong spot making my legs look short. Overall, these are great everyday comfortable boots. I highly recommend them!

Love these boots -- really cool. Leather is a little stiff, but soft. Need to go 1/2 size down from normal size. Really looks cute with leggings & girly dresses -- gives it that hard/soft look. Boot is heavier than other Fryes, but is easy to get use to the more you wear them. I have athletic calves & these fit with tights & skinny jeans. I took them to cobbler to stretch just so they they were a little looser. Can't go wrong with Zappos & these Fryes are made in the USA, which is a bonus! Once you buy Frye boots, you won't want to buy anything else.

I have had these boots for 3 years. I felt it necessary to write a review because many people say this boot runs large. That hasn't been my experience at all. I am an 8.5 but ordered an 8 based on reviews. The leather is heavy, good quality leather and the toe box doesn't stretch much, even after 3 years of regular wear. I have to wear a very thin sock with mine. Definitely wish I had an 8.5. They are gorgeous though and I get tons of compliments!

This shoe does run at least half a size small, but the toebox is a bit narrow. I found it fit my narrow feet well in the front, but not in the heel, where I was absolutely swimming. Such a pity because it's a gorgeous boot. Wish they made them in a smaller heel/width. There are almost no boots for folks like me. Arg.

I have not worn these yet. I ordered the same in Crozy Horse Borwn, the harness 12R. These are gorgeous leather and fit really nicely. I wear a 8½-9 , and had to return the 9½ size that I ordered. The leather is really gorgeous. My feet are bit wide, so I went half a size larger. I am glad I did, because they are narrow in he toe box.

Love them! You can't go wrong with a brand like Frye.gorgeous style, thick supe leather and quality crafenship that will last a lifetime. My pair was not as distressed as the pair pictures which I was happy about but everything else was just as the website portrayed it. I gave comfort 4 stars because they are new the leather needs time to stretch out

The boots were marked size women's 7.5, but were huge. According to the size chart, they actually mueasure more like a 9.5, so I returned them and will purchase a new pair when the next shipment comes in with size 7.5. They are gorgeous!

The boots are fabulous. I adore them after having many sizes sent and thinking I wanted Chestnut at first. I finally ended up picking black, which I love. So comfortable, finally ended up with an half size smaller than I ever wear, so they do run big. If you're looking for a treat, get them!

This was my first pair of Frye boots and three years later they are still my first go to boot. I have them in Chestnut and the color was gorgeous right out of the box. They have a couple scuffs on them now, but I don't think they detract from the boots at all. I still get compliments every time I wear them. They were definitely worth the price for them and Zappos.com is awesome to work with.

I love these boots! They are beautifully made, very comfortable, and go with many different fashion options. They're western boots, so they do "make your feet look big," but I'm a 5 1/2 to start with, so this is not a problem for me. The heel height is just high enough for my long jeans, but low enough for comfy walking. The mid-calf shaft height was new for me, and Zappos provided accurate measurement and fitting details that really helped me choose correctly. I also loved that I could review all the available boot options in my size to narrow down to a few faves. The free shipping clinched the deal.

Amazing boot! Gorgeous quality and extremely comfortable (even for someone like me who usually wears no heel at all)! I usually wear an 8.5, but ordered an 8 for this boot and they work out perfectly. I can see how they might be a bit of an issue for people with very wide feet; however, overall I'd say they will mold to accommodate your feet. These will last a lifetime, and I can't wait to wear them for years and years. Comfortable after only a few wears right out of the box. I have average sized calves, and I can easily wear these over skinny jeans!

Great boots; they run a half size large, so normally I wear a 6, but in Frye, always a 5.5. Cute, great quality, but they do slip in the heel, so a small pad helps. And Zappos is the best company! Came the next day. LOVE Zappos!!!!!!!

I love these boots. This is actually my second pair. Now a warning, the toe is narrow and they will hurt and give you blisters at first, but they will break in. I consider this a normal part of having boots. Once they're broken in they'll last you 20 years. They're my fourth pair of Fryes I think so I'm a bit biased, but what can I say. Also a word to the wise, Frye is known for having very inconsistent sizing; sometimes they run small sometimes large.

So pleased! I've wanted these boots for years and years and finally ordered them. They are spectacular - the leather is substantial and richly colored. Contrary to what many people have said about sizing down, I ordered my usual size, 9, and am glad that I did. To be certain there is "slippage" in the heel, but I think that is to be expected with this style of boot. My feet tend to be happy in shoes made by Keen, if this is of help for anyone - maybe tending toward the slightly wide? Zappos service is as usual far beyond expectations... boots and company both highly recommended!

These boots rock! Sexy and sassy at the same time. Fit was what I expected based on others comments. I ordered 1/2 size down from what I typically wear. I have a very narrow foot so the heel slips a little, but I love these boots. I wear them mostly with jeans, but they are extremely versatile. A must have!

Great Boot! I love this boot! They look great with jeans... over a bootcut or tucked into skinny jeans. I also wear them with skirts & get compliments all the time. I have had them for over a year & they still look new. Frye tends to run large so I would order a size down... I wear a 7.5 and these are 6.5 and fit just fine.
