Nice looking shoes, however the pair I received smelled like oil. It took several days of airing out for the odor to dissipate. These were the last pair in stock, and I wear size 14, so they were probably in storage for a long time before they were shipped to me.

You get what you pay for. I ordered this shoe to add a casual brown shoe to my business casual line up. The shoe is of fair quality, about what I expected for the price. The styling is great, it looks as pictured. Unfortunately, this shoe has two drawbacks: 1. The heel rises very high and the leather is quite stiff. Consequently, the shoe digs into the ankle bone and becomes uncomfortable. 2. The leather stinks. I wore the shoe to work one day and quickly got a headache due to the odor, and I also received a couple comments from my coworkers over the smell. I am currently airing them out outside. Who knows how long it will take for the smell to go away. Based on these drawbacks, I would not recommend purchasing this shoe.

Bought these shoes for a wedding and forgot to wear them in for a few hours at home before the event. Thankfully, the shoes were incredibly comfortable and didn\'t make my feet hurt in the slightest after wearing them for many hours and dancing.

You got the look. Had custom wedding tux made from HK; the shoes were unique enough to match with it. These shoes definitely turn heads as they are unlike anything around! No issues whatsoever.

I like the look of the shoes, but was surprised it had a somewhat square toe. I hadn't detected that from the photos before buying and generally only buy rounded toe shoes. They're comfortable but boy do they stink! I've received similarly smelly shoes before and returned them, but I'm hoping that the smell will eventually fade.

I\'m pretty tough on shoes, so I try to spend a conservative amount on them while getting something that looks like I spent a bit more. These shoes look like a finely crafted pair right down to the plush inside. The unnoticeable expandable slits on either side near the laces make them easier than most shoes to get on and off too. I barely got any blisters from them, which is big for new dress shoes. So far after a few they are wearing well - the heals haven\'t scuffed down, the bottoms still feel firm and the tops look fresh and firm with a good polish. All in all, great feeling and looking shoe for the price!

I bought two different styles and they both have a gasoline/used tire smell that was overwhelming and would not go away. I aired the shoes out for three weeks, but could not get rid of the smell so I returned them. The leather and craftsmanship appeared to be very well done, came with shoe bags and shoe horns, but the toxic smell was too much.

Very nice looking shoe for the price. Other websites have this shoe in a higher price range. Although, the sizing isn't quite right; I had to go up 1/2 size and it's a bit more narrow than I am used to. There is some issue with quality. The first day one of the eyelets popped out when I was re-lacing the shoe, not so pleasant. Although Zappos is extremely fast in shipping, I just didn't want to go through the hassle of returning another pair of shoes. All over it's a good shoe, I just wouldn't recommend them for everyday wear.

Worst shoes ever - this shoe deteriorated faster than a pair of Payless shoes. Don't walk in a puddle as the bottom of the shoe is made from cardboard and it will go right through. On top of that, this pair smells awful! Your feet will smell.

These shoes are excellent. True to size! The shoes actually look better in person than on a desktop! They feel wonderful on my feet and I highly recommend them! They look great with a nice pair of jeans and a button down shirt! Shipping was fast and I do mean fast! I don't know how you guys do it, but please keep it up!

Shoes were great. Quality was better than photos revealed. Sizes are true size, fit perfect. Shipping was unbelievable fast, no charge for shipping, and I received the shoes in a few days. I don't know how you do it, your way ahead of other internet vendors!

These shoes are elegant and were well packaged with an individual pouch for each shoe. They even included a shoehorn. One downside is when I compared these shoes with another shoe I own it looked a full size bigger and the odor from it was strong.

These are beautiful and very unique shoes. I was a little worried about the fit, due to the other reviews, but I found the fit to be nice. I usually wear traditional wingtip/cap toes rather than the square toe shoes. These are more square, but are very elegant. I got at least 3 compliments in court the first day I wore them. Wearing these definitely requires a certain level of confidence/flair as they are very noticeably different from what everyone else is wearing. If like me you think that's a good thing, I highly recommend them.

The shoes look great. They fit well although they were a bit tight at first. The one weird thing is that they smell. After 6 weeks, they still have a very strong new shoe smell that is noticeable by others when you wear them.

Classy looking, formal shoe...True chocolate color...WILL work well for business, business casual, or even casual attire...However, will NOT look good with jeans or summer beach-wear attire. Good and fit true to size.

Keepers! The brown is a polished reddish-orange brown. The shoe is narrow and longer than it appears on the website - which was perfect for my foot. I expected that the leather would be hard and uncomfortable, like most shiny leather shoes that I tried on at department stores, but it was not. The leather is fine and it feels like a fancy glove. The stitching is understated and they look like a million bucks. I wish they came in other shade types of brown too, since the reddish color is not great with my bark brown suit. My complaint is that the shoes smell of chemicals and I had to leave them outside for a few days to get the formaldehyde or whatever it was out. It made my wife very sick. I ordered two styles of this brand and both had this terrible off-gas issue.

Jury still out here...This shoe is wonderful to look at, has a terrific feel to the touch, and is obviously well made; however, once you put your foot into it you feel like you've been sent a woman's dress shoe with its VERY pointed toe box. The shoe will be 1½" longer than any shoe you currently wear due to the toe box making it feel like the shoe is too big when you’re walking, you feel like you’re going to trip over your own feet they’re so long. If you’re used to wearing pointed boots like cowboy boots these are for you. If you’re used to wearing what I would call a “typical� men’s dress shoe these will take a bit of getting used to.

Fratelli 2170.Beautiful shoe. Comfortable (with a little break in needed). I have purchased shoes that start off in the 300$ range and this shoe beats them all-by far.Very elegant and good for dancing too. The price was set by an insane person. A Ferrari at the cost of a Volvo.

Great shoe for the money!I bought these for my husband who wears dressy shoes everyday for work - for at least 10 hours a day. He says these are comfortable once broken in, at first they were a bit stiff. These shoes have a nice look to them - different than what you see in virtually every store. Almost European looking without the overly pointed toe. A great shoe, a great buy overall.

Fratelli's!Nothing special, but for the price it is a good buy. I probably don't have to point this out, but the shoe is obviously darker than the picture provided. I assumed it would have a more gray tone to it, but the shoe is black. The only real downside for me, besides the darker than expected color, would be that it is a bit wider than expected - otherwise a functional item.

Amazing Look - Great shoes! I got them as a gift and absolutely love the look. They feel comfortable, too. I did scratch the back of one of my heels while running, but my shoes might just be a slight dimension off, as I have found it necessary to use the shoehorn.

Very nice shoe.Ordered this in brown. Very pleased with the look and fit of these shoes. As always customer service is among the best in the business. Plus included are shoe horn and shoe bags for travel.
