I appreciate Franco Sarto for making a nice boot out of synthetic materials. The color is a beautiful, sexy, understated dark red. Unfortunately, the fit wasn't right for me. The tops were too roomy, so they looked kind of silly.
Comfortable Mary-Jane at a good price. I have problem feet but didn't have any problem with this shoe. Usually the strap on this type of shoe would dig into my foot but I didn't even notice the strap while wearing. The strap, heel, and toe bed are patent so scratch marks may be an issue down the road.
I bought these because I've had these same shoes from 15 years ago. They are great shoes. I am so glad I could find them again.
This boot is so comfortable. Lots of padding and arch support. Makes my leg looks so sexy. The circumference seems tighter than listed 16 inches though.
Always hesitant to buy white shoes but these are subtle enough - looked great on. But with a lot of FS shoes the non-leather piece across the front hurt my foot immediately. Although a fairly high heel, it felt stable. Had it been softer I would've definitely kept them.
I love these shoes! I have very narrow feet and have difficulty finding shoes that are both comfortable and cute. These shoes hit the mark in both areas. I wear them all the time and am so pleasantly surprised on how comfortable they are throughout the day.
I never write reviews but always rely on them. And because I am so happy with these boots, I felt compelled to write one in hopes of helping someone else with their decision. I was really skeptical about these boots because... Well, I am sort of a shoe snob. I really want to buy the more expensive options like the Frye boots with leather soles and all, but honestly I did not want to spend that much money right now. These boots, however, happily surprised me. The leather is great quality and does not look cheap at all. They are super comfortable. I usually get a little claustrophobic in boots if they are too tight but these boots can literally be worn all day. I was also concerned about the width because I have wide calves but these boots fit perfectly around my skinny jeans and still looked good and not too big around my leggings. The size is perfect. I am an 8½ and that is what I ordered and they fit just right! I am super happy with these boot and would highly recommend them.
Cute, comfortable shoes! I ordered the wrong size but needed the shoes for an event that night so I kept the 6.5 even though they're a tad large. I probably should be wearing a 6, but these still are comfy even if they're a touch too big. I love the cutout detailing on the sides, too!
Had high hopes for these boots as I have had success with Franco Sarto in the past. But unfortunately, these are getting sent back: run large (could go at least 1/2 size smaller), make my feet look large and the style is not as smart as I expected. Were wide through the shaft and looked "rain boot" like.
Comfortable and pretty. The perfect dress boot for someone who doesn't like high heels. Stable in snow and slush. I want these in another color too!
Having worked in shoe sales, I know that you just can't go wrong with Franco Sarto for fit and comfort-- Thankfully these shoes also deliver on style too! Love them!
So cute in the photo, not bad in person but totally weird looking on the foot. The back is elasticized and is super uncomfortable on the foot, the shoe is really wide and isn't flattering on the foot. Too bad because the concept isn't bad, just a really bad execution.
I really like these shoes, but I am disappointed in the color. I ordered them in the mushroom and they are a dull, disappointing, almost greenish brown. Other than that, these are good shoes. I am a little under 5'4" and it comes right up to just below my kneecap, which I think is appropriate. I thought the shaft would be too long because 17" seemed like a lot, but the fit is good.
These boots look great out of the box but they do not fit well at all. They are so stiff and the ankle area is so awkwardly designed that I had a hard time walking in them. I do not have very large calves, but I was not able to get the boots zipped over my jeans. And not placing blame on anyway, but the boots already had some nicks on them right out of the box. I am sending these back.
These shoes fit well and are very comfortable from day 1. Just like everyone wrote! They may be a tad large - I usually wear 9.5, got 9.5, and they feel great. But there is sunlight between my heel and the shoe's that a heel pad would fix. One thing I wish was if the heels weren't set as far out. Makes the shoes look as large as they are. Oh well.
I love these shoes! I ordered the calf color and love them with dark jeans and black leggings and skinny jeans. They do run big though, at least a half size. I'm a pretty solid 10 but sometimes need 9.5 in some heels. These I really needed a 9.5 and maybe even a 9. thick socks help. I was leaving for Boston the night I received them so I needed to keep them, I'm going to get the 9.5 when these wear out. They are so comfortable and the first time I wore them I was walking around the city all day long. No blisters, no complaints. They are a little wide too. Great boot.

I saw my sister wearing a brown pair of these boots. I tried them on and loved them. So I went on Zappos the next day to order them in black. They're very comfortable, stylish and have become a favorite right out of the box! They look great with jeans tucked in or with leggings. I've also worn them with a denim skirt and tights! They are on the casual side, style-wise, so I'm not sure how they'd look with a dressier outfit. Haven't tried them that way yet to know if they'd work.
