These are great boots. The leather is excellent quality & they are the perfect height for me (I'm about 5'5"). I tried the Paris Hilton Ryder boot & the quality was way inferior to these boots. And the Paris Hilton boot is taller, which is uncomfortable for me when sitting (it hits into the back of my leg). I wear a 9-9 1/2 in regular shoes & always go smaller for boots. I got an 8 1/2 and they fit great. I have narrow feet, but these boots are still comfortable. I sometimes wear 2 pairs of socks with them, but that's just because my feet are really thin. Overall, great boot all around.

Since you asked, I am a first time user at the recommendation of someone much younger. I was excited to find the perfect shoe. Service from Zappos could not have been better. I received the shoe. Perfect fit. Wore them to a special occasion, and as the evening progressed the shoe stretched and I was walking out of them. Adds a new meaning to "if the shoe fits, wear it".

Perfect shoe. I just bought these beautiful, and very comfortable shoes. I wear 8 1/2 and they run true to size. Plenty of room in the toes. I have difficulty finding nice shoes that don't hurt, and these fit the bill perfectly!

Very comfortable. Beautifully made. Pretty true to size. If anything a shade smaller but that is probably due to the semi-pointed toe. I love them!

I love these boots! Very soft, high quality leather and a very classic look. I usually wear a size 8 and these were a little bit big so I returned for a size 7. I can't rave enough about customer service! They overnighted me the smaller size at no extra charge!

The boots are beautiful, comfortable while sitting, but walking is very difficult. I thought I could get used to the taller heel, but I just can't walk in them. I would have returned them, but I've worn them several times.

I just love these shoes! They are so comfy that if my husband would not leave his shoes in the middle of the floor for me to trip over, I could almost imagine wearing them as bedroom slippers. Hard to believe comfort in shoes with 3" heels. Thank you, Zappos!

I've been looking for a darker, dressy brown shoe for years. I love the style of these shoes. I work in a school district and I'm on my feet moving most of the day. These shoes are not comfortable. I'm keeping them but will wear them rarely. The toe/top part is quite narrow and my feet feel really compacted and at the end of a 12 hour day I can't wait to get them off (I have average width). The heel was a bit loose for me too, but going down a size wouldn't work. I put one of those heel protectors in to help fill in the gap and decrease the sliding.

Theses boots look great in the box, but they just didn't work for me. The color is fantastic, rich and unique; the heel height is perfect, and the style is generally great, equestrian and nice buckle details. But they felt about a half size too big, the foot bed isn't very cushioned, and the toe is a bit too rounded for my taste. My biggest problem is that I can't figure out how one fits jeans or pants into the boots. I have relatively slim calves, but without a zipper, I couldn't get my skinny pants tucked in without a lot of bunching. I'm returning them for a pair with a zipper.

Sensational! Perfect marriage between a riding/motorcycle boot. The size seemed true. I have a difficult in between size of 9 1/2-10 so I get the bigger size and it's a very good fit in width and length. The leather, despite being thick, was very soft and pliable around the ankle and made for great comfort. They look very slick and stylish with anything from skirts to jeans. Excellent for cooler weather.

Well, I'm bummed. After reading all the great reviews, I thought for sure these would be keepers. Unfortunately, they just look like galoshes on me: big around the calf, very wide/bulky in the ankle. Maybe it's because I mainly wanted to wear them with skirts, but even when I tried them on with skinny jeans, the shape was just too bulky. I love the styling though with the trim and the zipper and buckle. I only wish they were shaped more to my liking. I'll be returning them.

I just received the shoes. I have about 4 pairs of Franco Sarto boots and all of them are 9.5 and fit great. I was so excited that I got them so quickly but they are too wide. Not true to size. The length is okay but they are wide around the ankle and top of the foot. I will try a smaller size to see if that makes a difference, but I think it is just the cut of the boot. A bit disappointing.

Franco Sarto shoes are very comfortable and very cute! These shoes don't hurt your feet like most ballet flats do. Looks great with every color outfit. I wear them all the time!

These are really cute shoes - well made and at a reasonable price. However, they don\'t run true to size; I ended up needing to order a 1/2 size larger (9 vs. 8 1/2).

I love ANY franco Sarto shoes. Normally I do not buy any shoes from the internet, but when I saw these shoes that are just my style and saw that they were Franco Sarto. I figured I could not loose. The shoes fit wonderful. The feel like butter the second you put them on and do not hurt the foot. I can wear them all day without any pain.I would suggest buying any Franco Sarto shoes without hesitation.

These shoes are hot, and pretty comfortable considering the height of the heel! I danced in them for a good 6 hours on Saturday night and then walked a good couple of blocks back home. Nothing negative to report. I'd say they run pretty true to size, if anything maybe they are just a hair larger than marked (like 1/8th of a size bigger than what you order). That works out for me because my feet are a little wide.

Light & compact! Very stylish and sheek. I got mines in Olive and love the color. This purse has a compartment for everything like your cell phone, make-up and coins. Love the poka-dot lining and umbrella. Great for traveling and just everyday activities. Must have for everyday use! Ladies you will not be disappointed! First day using it and already enjoying it!

The shoe is beautiful and Franco's usually run wide, so I was disappointed when the shoe was tight in the toe box. Not ready to give up on them yet though, and will be bringing to the shoemaker to see if he can stretch them for me!

Okay, ladies. Measure your calf circumference and listen carefully. My calf measures 13" at its fullest point. These boots fit my skinny little legs perfectly with skinny jeans tucked in. I am 5'7" and these boots hit at the bottom of my knees. I love them, but if you are shorter than 5'7" or have fuller calves, they will not work for you! The leather is high quality, the workmanship is great, and the style is kickin'. I made a commitment to find the perfect casual black boots this season, and have ordered 12 pairs of black boots from Zappos and other websites. I chose from all manufacturers and price ranges. These are the winner! The price is reasonable, and the boots are comfortable. I love them and know I will enjoy them for years to come! If you are between sizes, order down. I am an 8.5 or 9, and ordered the 8.5. It is pretty roomy, I have room for thick socks and could probably even put in a cushier insole if they stretch at all.
