I ordered these shoes for my almost 3 year-old son and I am very pleased with my purchase! The shoes have a comfortable fit, seem to be of good quality, and look adorable. They fit true to size, and can accommodate even a chubby foot. We're loving them!

These shoes are a good neutral toned match that can be paired with anything almost. The leather is stiff and the buckles are actually velcro, not really buckled closures, which is a problem if you want little girls to wear tights and socks with them. The wide width is not that much wider than regular width either. At first I wanted to order these in every color, but when they arrived I changed my mind because they weren't as great as I thought they'd be, but they're cool though.

These shoes run large & a little wide, about 1/2 size up. This is my second year buying these. Great quality and sturdy. After one season they still look brand new and are ready to pass down to next child. My only complaint is that they sell out so fast, it\'s hard to track down the color & size you need.

Great shoe! These shoes are so cute! They look great with every outfit my little girl wears including jeans! I will buy these in white for the summer. They are well made, but run a little big. I would order them a half size smaller next time. I sent my original order back and in no time I received the correct size.

Perfection! I love these shoes! They are made of a beautiful leather, inside and out, and have dual buckles that I find so much nicer than Velcro. They also have non-marking rubber soles for good traction. They fit my daughter's feet like a glove, and she finds them comfortable even though she has very low arches, which can often cause blisters. The bottoms are stiff at first, so I did as the manufacturer recommends, and flexed the forefoot before she wore them. These are great for school, play, or dress up. And what else can you say about Zappos.com?! They go above and beyond great service and quality. Thanks Zappos.com!

In general, I am happy enough with these shoes to keep them, because there are more positives than negatives. Aside from the extra toe guard on the front of the shoe, they are a very nice leather inside and out, and seem to be very comfortable for my daughter... even with her low arches that typically cause blisters. The soles are a nice rubber that gives good traction, and they seem to be true-to-size, and fit her very well. All said, it is still a good, classic shoe, that works well for dress up or play.

I purchased these cuties for my 1 year old son on Monday at noon and they landed on my door step on Tuesday at 11:59 am. Zappos is amazing! I needed to have these by the weekend for my son's Christening. We shopped everywhere to find handsome white shoes (that didn't look orthopedic and weren't sneakers!) to match his little white tux. These shoes are beautiful. They are classic/ traditional/ timeless. They are very well made, quality leather inside and out, non-skid/non-slip soles. They are a little stiff on the toe area as expected, but still flexible. They seem comfortable, too. My son liked them, he didn't fuss or try to remove them. He was like "Happy Feet", stomping around in his fancy new shoes. If only I could post the pictures! The shoes were perfect for his outfit and we will definitely be able to use them again for the holidays and for special outings. They do run half a size bigger, so it might be good to order down instead of up, for a good fit. We have gotten many compliments on these little shoes, and I feel like a proud mommy knowing I only buy the best in quality for my kids. My two boys are always well dressed with handsome shoes to match. It's hard to find nice quality boys clothes and shoes in our area. Thanks Zappos. Little boys grow like weeds, so we'll be back to buy more soon.

I was very disappointed with these shoes. My two-year old son wore them for a month and then the sole was completely worn out and the scratch tore apart and I couldn\'t glue it back. Not at all sturdy enough for toddlers.

Love these shoes. I bought these shoes in navy for my 19 month old grandson and he loves them. Had to size up a 1/2 size though. These are really cute and you can\'t find these shoes anywhere in the stores so I was thrilled to find that someone is still making cute shoes for babies and toddlers. I would have liked the white ones but with fall and winter I decided to go with the navy and love them. Would definitely order these again.

These shoes are well made. and have an excellent fit. The only problem is the color isn't really pink. I also wish they had the double layer front.

My daughter has a high instep and often needs a wide shoe even though her foot is not technically wide. These shoes were able to accommodate her foot. They are dressy but have a good tread and can be worn to school.

Adorable shoes. I love the reinforced toe. I like the concept of the velcro closure so my daughter can easliy put them on herself, but I think the actualy buckle style looks better.

These are great shoes. I brought these for my granddaughter last year for school. She goes to a catholic school. Her mom brought different ones this year. She wanted her last year shoes she said. They were more comfortable. So I brought her another pair. Her mom loves the tops they keep the shoe looking great.

Disappointed - Super cute shoes. Fit my daughter very well and were perfect for school. We wear them 3 days a week. HOWEVER - The soles are coming apart at the toe and pieces have broken off. She will not be able to safely wear these much longer. I am definitely disappointed in these shoes for the price.

Finally, success in finding a quality Mary Jane shoe that fits! I have recently tried at least 6 different brands for my 4 year-old daughter, including some very expensive European brands. None fit properly; many were too narrow, although she has a medium width foot. A common complaint from her was that the other brands hurt around the ankle. I also had the requirement that it have a leather lining, and it is getting harder and harder to find shoes with leather inside and out these days! We received the Courtney from FootMates today and are thrilled to find that it fits, has plenty of growing room, and is comfortable! The padded collar goes all around the shoe so that it doesn't dig in anywhere. They seem to be cut a little lower so that it is not hitting the ankle, too. The shoe has a comfortable leather lining that is padded but also offers plenty of support. The toe box is wide and affords ample wiggle room. The lug sole gives a secure grip and doesn't detract from the looks of the shoe as I feared it would. It's a very cute shoe that will go nicely with casual outfits and dresses. I bought the black leather and it goes with everything except the dressiest of dresses. My daughter was recently measured at Stride Rite as a 9.5M, and that is what we ordered in this brand. It seems a wee bit bigger than the Stride Rites we have tried, but not so big that it is a problem. It looks fine and fits fine. Maybe not quite a half-size bigger. She will get plenty of wear out of this shoe!I hope that this shoe does not get discontinued! I will repurchase over and over!

Pros: love the classic look, comes in wide widths, lots of colors and well made. Cons: leather takes a while to break in and there are basically no treads on the bottom of them so it's easy for a toddler to slide or slip in them on hardwood floors or smooth surfaces. Note: I do feel they run about a half size long.

If you are looking for the perfect, classic saddle shoe, these are good quality and good value. Stride Rite stopped making the classic saddle shoe and only makes the tennis shoe version.
