Excellent Shoe - Looks and Comfort Love the looks and the comfort is a real bonus. The only bad thing is the rubber insert in the sole seems to be wearing faster than any other part. I've had the shoes for some time now(6 months) and the shine is there and I haven't polished them once.

Great Shoe - Poor Soles A great looking classic shoe. I've had 3 pairs. In the last two years. The rubber inset in the sole wears like crazy, and then you get a major soft spot right in the center of the footbed. I'm sure it has it's value over leather on slippery surfaces, but it's a pretty steep price to pay for the whole shoe becoming worthless because of the wear.

Still in style... When I was a kid, I often heard these shoes called "old man comforts" and they're still pretty hip today. They go great with tan or taupe pants and look really nice with a suit, so I'll continue to buy them. From Zappos, of course.

A sharp Shoe - These shoes had a great shine out of the box and a very good look for a work setting. They took only took one wearing to break in and since have become quite comfortable. These are a great pair of shoes.

Reveiw - I look the shoes a lot, althoug I did notice after wearing them only several times, the leather part of the sole was beginning to wear.

Not as shiny as could be - I recently ordered a new pair of the Perfed Tip Florshiem but was a little disappointed with the factory shine. The reason I say this and the reason I ordered the shoe is because I already own a couple of pairs of the Lexington Perfed Tips in black and burgundy and the factory shine, when purchased, was just short of looking like patent leather. I also noted some slight irregularities in the stitching. I will be a little more careful when ordering "unseen' in the future.

Lexington Review - Nice shoe for the money. Would have prefered an all leather sole rather than the partial rubber insert. I take a narrow size and the shoe was true to size except for the heel, which was a little too wide for me.

Florsheim's Lexington Perfed Tip - Shoe is fine. Confortable and looks great. Not top of the line but did not cost Top of the Line $$$ either.

Great Buy - For those of you that require an EEE, this shoe is for your. The shoe fits like a glove and is very comfortable. I've only been it for two weeks and it has broken in nicely. The leather is not top quality, but it looks nice nonetheless. Some shoes that I have ordered from Zappos don’t fit. They pay for return shipping and credit your account promptly. If you don’t like it, you can send it back without a hassle.

I have had these shoes for 5 years now and I could not be happier. They have held up great and are easy to stand in for long periods of time since I am in a choir and usually have to wear a tuxedo. Great buy for the money.

Not long for this Earth - Look very good. Feel OK. Self destructed. Rubber impact section of sole just peeled up. Probably worn about 20-30 times.

Business/dress classic at a common man's price - This was a repeat purchase of this shoe for me, having taken nearly ten years to give up on the other pair. With the exception of SLIGHTLY cutting into my ankle bones (which are very protruded) the shoe is a perfect fit. I am finally in the position that I could "move up" to more expensive shoes, but I see no reason to since this shoe does everything I need it to at a reasonable price point. Zappos was awesome in the ordering process. I had been so used to not having access to EEE sizes that I made my first order a half size too large. I needed the shoes by the weekend, so I just reordered and sent the others back. The new ones came in one day, and the credit came in a very reasonable time frame.

My father purchased this shoe for me. The first few days I wore the shoes I was not sure about the look. I am only 21 & a friend said they were old man shoes. After a few weeks everyone at work were like nice shoes great look. I now noticed another guy in the office has purchased shoes in the same style. Most comfortable and Best fit shoes - I bought these shoes in August 2001 and have had them since then. I love these shoes so much so that I wear them everyday to go to work, club, parties or other occasions. I am going to get another pair of them in a different color.
