I love this tote/backpack. It is spacious enough to hold an iPad/laptop, a notebook, a couple books and even my lunch. I ride my bike so I use this mainly as a backpack and I am able to attach my helmet on the leather strap when I'm off my bike. It's such a cute bag and I love the dark red color I got, it matches with pretty much anything. The bag is sturdy. I can't wait to get the wax to put on it to make it look a little worn and waterproof. Inside has a separate compartment, which I think is great to separate a laptop from your lunch or anything else. There's also a little zippered pouch inside that I find useful for my wallet, Chapstick, and other little necessities. There is also a little strap inside with a little hook, I use a mini carabiner to attach my keys to it. It makes it so much easier to grab my keys and it never gets lost in my bag! The outside pocket is a good size for a reading book or sketchbook. I am so happy I bought this bag for my commute to work! My only complaint is that it seems to pick up lint but a quick swipe with my lint roller and it's off. Best bag ever!

This is great. I've been looking for something to hold all my random/loyalty cards. I was hesitant at first because the description said the depth was only 1/2 inches...and I have a lot of cards. However, I decided to buy it anyway. Turns out it can fit everything and has room for more!

This is one of the best things I have ever bought to help me stay organized. I got rid of my check book, coupon holder and other wallet that keeps all the reward cards and miscellaneous items that you rarely use. This is my all in one! This wallet is thin and takes up little space in my purse - I often just leave it in my car until I need it.

This is no doubt a very cute, retro backpack. I loved the simplicity, and the colors. But I packed it with a modest assortment of things I would need as a day traveler (jacket, guidebook, water bottle, wallet, etc) and it quickly became quite uncomfortable. I wore it around the house and was ready to send it back after less than an hour. I can't imagine using it for textbooks or my daily commuter with a laptop. Yes, it's cute, yes it's Scandinavian, but 1" straps for more than a wallet and a little sweater? No thank you. Especially if you plan on wearing a tank top - beware those straps digging into your bare skin. Also, it's pretty expensive for how simple the materials and construction are.

I bought this for my boyfriend who requested a wallet that zips closed. He works in construction and he felt like everything in his wallet was getting dusty and dirty. He absolutely loves this wallet and it keeps everything inside dust-free. Style wise it wasn't my first choice. I showed him 3 or 4 zippered wallets here on Zappos though and this is the one he picked.

I love the overall size of this backpack, but there could definitely be some improvements. The pockets are really small. The front pocket can't fit my phone and the side pockets most definitely can't fit a water bottle. The backpack also arrives really crunched up and wrinkly, but they flatten out through use.

Great size, great color. It fits my 15 inch laptop snugly and is not too big. I use it mainly for work. It's casual but clean in design to be appropriate. I love the large leather handles at the top. The straps are not the comfiest, but I don't think the pack's meant to hold too much weight considering its size.

This is a great bag. It's well made, looks great, has a ton of space and the padded laptop sleeve is great. I would like a bit more organization inside but it's not a big deal. It's a very simple design, but I do like the drawstring top and how the outside pockets fold over in a way that increases rain repellency. I'm 6'2" with a longer torso and find this pack to be comfortable with a laptop and several books.

I use this as my wallet and it's great. So small it fits in my hand and easily slips into my back pocket or even the smallest of handbags. Only negative is that is it only gusseted on one side so you have to be careful when unzipping it. Love it!

Surprisingly roomy for being a small backpack, love the look of it and the color. Sometimes it's annoying to open the flap, but the outer pocket is nice.

The quality of materials on this bag is excellent. The G1000 material is very sturdy and definitely water proof. Strap adjusters and the hooks to secure the flap of the messenger bag are also a nice sturdy metal with Fjallraven engravings; very cool. The style of the bag is exactly what I was looking for so 5/5 there from me. The achilles heel of this bag however is the strap and how it connects to the bag. It is too narrow especially when compared to the straps of other messenger bags. Because of this, the straps ripped where they connect to the bag. This happened in only 3 weeks of usage with a 13" macbook, a binder, and medium size textbook inside. This is disappointing because the rest of the bag is so well made and for $150 there are a lot of other options out there.

Great laptop for commuting for work if you have a small laptop and not too many extras. Comfortable, breathes well, and the neutral color matches most everything. The straps do take a little longer to fix on than other bags and I never use the internal cinch. Overall very happy with this bag.

A great little bag! I use it to carry my dog's paraphernalia when go for walks. It easily holds 3 tennis balls, a toy tug rope, a Nalgene bottle, and then some. The iPhone 6 slips nicely into to the external side pockets. Plus, it's super cute.

I ordered an XXS and this coat is 2-3 times larger than what it should be. The quality is ok, and is not worth the price tag in my opinion. I returned it and opted for a similar looking jacket of higher quality from Penfield.

This backpack is fairly spacious, but it is much taller than I originally anticipated. I'm only 5'0" and it would bump the back of my neck when I walked. If I were taller, it would be perfect! Returning for a smaller bag.

It's a great bag. The handles seem a little on the long side, but their length makes carrying it in your fist, over your shoulder, much more comfortable than usual. I do realize their length is actually meant for people who want to wear it like a backpack (which I never will). I do wish they made full-on shoulder straps as an accessory (so I can sling it across my chest), as trying to hunt one down that matches the bag is kind of a pain, but the comfort of using the handles mollifies that enough that I'm not going to notch it down for that. As an aside, the search for a shoulder strap has been kind of a revelation, as in there doesn't appear to be many companies filling that need beyond a whole lot of cheap nylon straps or ritzy looking leather straps. My search continues. I'm also glad I got the "Large" version. It's always hard to gauge how big a bag is until you see it in person-even with the video Zappos has, but the "Large" is definitely in line with what I view a duffel/carry-on/weekend bag should be. Mine is the dark grey, which is pretty much spot on with the picture shown on the website. It came already showing "weathering" from the straps/folding, which I consider a plus (waxed canvas kind of lends itself to that look), but if you don't want a bag that's going to show that type of stuff, then you may want to stay away. Finally, I love the big ring they put on the main zipper. Wish they'd done the same thing for the zipper on the outside side pocket. Both zippers are "hidden" within a fold, making the ring a great thing for practicality. I'm guessing they choose against the ring on the side pocket for aesthetics, which is a small shame. I looped a leather cord through the side zipper, bought for a few bucks off Amazon. I'd probably give it a 4.5 stars if Zappos did halves.

I got this bag in black. Because of the material it attracts dirt/salt/dust and appear visible if you buy it in a dark color. But it's really easy to keep clean, just wipe it down with a wet wipe or cloth. I have 15 in' retina macbook pro and with a sleeve over it, it still fits perfectly inside the laptop compartment. I LOVE the padded straps. They are super comfortable. Even when my backpack is fully loaded with a notebook, binder, textbook and macbook. The extra support from the padded straps helps a ton. It doesn't feel like it's about to give out on me. The shape of the bag feels nice on my back, like very sturdy and not slouchy. The front pocket is the perfect size for miscellaneous items. I use it for my keys, wallet and extra pens. The side pockets are a decent size. They are big enough to fit a small umbrella or a 16 oz plastic water bottle. The top straps are nice for when you want to give your back a break. Overall i'm really satisfied with this bag and plan to buy another one in a smaller size and different color to use for going out and not school.

This is a really nice bag. Well designed and a good size for the gym or a weekend trip. The only problem is with the zippers. They don't work smoothly and one of the side zippers came undone. I couldn't fix it and plunked down $35 at the shoemaker to have it fixed. I should have returned it but just wanted to get it over with. I would recommend it but beware of the zippers!

I've had Fjallraven packs before and am a fan of the g1000 fabric. It starts off fairly water resistant from the factory and can be made moreso by using some sort of wax product. Despite the waterproofing though, it doesn't scream "technical gear." This bag in particular is "cute" and sometimes gets compliments from strangers. It's on the smaller, compact side which works well for daily work things and short day hikes.

Very nice, though I'm returning it because I prefer the Foldover by the same company. I'm going with that one because of a couple of features in this one. The leather straps are big and overtake my small stature, even though the bag itself is a perfect size for a small person. Also, I really wish the straps were padded. The construction is very high quality. A 15" MacBook Pro fits perfectly inside, but there's no bottom padding for when you set the back down on the floor. There is, however, a padded piece on the inside that can pad a laptop or, as the tag says, be used as a cushion. It's a nice touch.

At 5'4", most backpacks are too big for me. This one is perfect and lightweight. It's much nicer in person than it appears in the video and the dark grey is like the picture. The fabric is super soft and the construction is quality. The laptop space is padded against your back and on the bottom. There aren't lots of compartments or pockets - everything is simplistic in design. While it has a slim profile, there's plenty of room for a book, a scarf, a water bottle (there's no sleeve for it though), keys, a tablet, wallet, cosmetic case, etc. Some have mentioned the hooks as tricky...um, they're just hooks. Maybe they've changed the design or something, but what's on my backpack a toddler could figure out. It is quick and easy, yet secure. It is true that the flap covers the outer pocket so that you have to unhook it, but it's easy and I don't foresee this as an issue. I thought it might bother me when I ordered it, but it's a non-issue for me. The straps are padded and comfortable on my small frame. It's elegant while still being functional and multipurpose. I can wear it while maintaining my dignity and still looking like an adult, yet it is still wearable with fashionable clothes. I had never heard of this brand before but I'm really pleased I gave them a try.
