Overall:

I really liked the style of these shoes, and was excited to get them. I read that they run small, so I ordered mine a size larger than usual and also in wide. When they came I couldn't even get my foot inside. They were crazy small. Sadly, I had to return them for another style.

I wasn't too sure about the detailing on the back (I thought it might make the boot look cheesy), but this boot rocks! Overall, the boots are gorgeous! I usually wear an 11M, but because I knew I'd have on socks (and because the 11M wasn't available), I went for the 11W. It is PERFECT! Very comfy, a higher heel that I usually wear, but very stable with a little traction under the ball of the foot. Very pretty color (somewhere between a milk and semi-sweet chocolate. And best of all the calf fits beautifully (mine are between 17-1/2 and 18"). I ordered them on Tuesday, received them on Wednesday, and have them on today - no break-in time required. Thanks Zappos and Fitwell for giving us ladies with wide calfs a fabulous fashion option. Please make more!

This is my first Fitzwell purchase and the Vivien was about what I expected for the price. I usually spend a little more but wanted to try an 11.5 instead of hunting for an 11 that runs big or a 12 that runs small, and I was in the market for a cute, black leather, round-toed flat for capri leggings and tights. The Vivien fit the bill with its adorable gathered/pleated toe and pleated heel. I think these shoes will serve me well, but I miss the feel of a leather interior more than I expected. The 11.5W (they looked narrow to me in the photo and my feet are wide-ish)is an OK fit; my toe comes right to the end of the shoe when I walk, but my heel has all kinds of room and I can almost walk out of the right shoe; they feel a bit loose. I'll try an insole insert, which might solve both (slight) problems and provide some extra cush as well. The heel pad is comfortable enough. They gap out a bit when I bend my foot but hey, that happens in most flats. Even if the insole doesn't work out, they're wearable as is and not painful, just not deliriously comfortable. I'm going to keep them because I LOVE the look of them and think an 11 would be too small or a medium too narrow. I'm sure I'll wear them often. As usual, Zappos and their free, overnight, upgraded shipping ROCK!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I bought these in an 8, every pair of shoes I own are an 8. They were huge!! I returned them for a 7.5 and after wearing them for almost a month, they've stretched out so much, now they are huge too!! My feet come out of them with every step. Even with the thickest of socks on, they are just too big. I recommend ordering a full size SMALLER than what you normally wear and start from that.

This shoe looks good but was horrendously uncomfortable for my foot. No arch support whatsoever, I don't understand the reviews that say the arch support is moderate, and the fit was "off." Again, for my foot - there are some brands I wish I could wear because I like the look of them, and I can't.

Lambswool comfort at a reasonable price! These slippers are great. They keep my toes warm. And the lambswool prevents me from overheating! The hard outsole allows me to sneak outside without worrying about ruining my slippers. Love 'em!

Beautiful shoe. Should be comfortable once broken in. I ordered wide width and it was still a little narrow across the toe knuckles.

Excellent stretch and look on a wide/athletic calf! Well made. These look awesome on & no problem wearing skinny jeans tucked in, they zip right up and feel perfectly snug. Mine were entirely 1 to 1 1/2 size too big, even with big socks my feet swim so after waiting for the shipment, really bummer to return them for the smaller size. I am excited to replace them with some that actually fit, I just hope they are not sold out!

These boots are a little smaller than they say (12W) however very comfy to wear. They look great and I have no regrets buying them.

Excellent low heel boot...it has a gel thingy in the heel and the inside is lined with fuzzy material. They molded to my feet quickly. I wear them everyday and would buy it again.

These Fitzwell slippers are amazing. I ordered about 5 different kinds to find the perfect one. I had worn Uggs until they were naked...I loved them. (10 years or so). These are better. The BEST. They are true to size, don't slip off your foot, comfy and warm, good looking, and the first thing I slip into every time I come home. I HIGHLY recommend them....and Zappos.

Ordered as a gift, size was off from my fault, but quickly exchanged by Zappo's great policy for the correct size after Christmas. Very comfortable, well made, and appear to be able to last many early morning strolls to the kitchen! I wear the men's style and enjoy them very much.

Got the package the very next day! That was exciting. There is, however, something wrong with the fit. Just the left foot. Every time I have worn these shoes I have had to spend several hours on the couch after! I don't have this problem with other shoes. Not sure how good their quality control is.

SO very cute, but run so very large. I'm a pretty standard 7 1/2, sometimes 8, ordered a 7 and they're still too big. I'm also petite and short-legged (5' 3") and they're just a smidge too tall...hit right under my knee cap. BOO...They really are good looking boots. As far as the leather goes, definitely not the highest quality, but I wouldn't send them back over it.

I ordered these based on other reviews that said it was snug in the calf and I was looking for boots that wouldn't gap when worn with a skirt or tights. Unfortunately, these were still way too loose for my calves even though I'm not super skinny. I guess it could be because I have pretty big feet for my height/weight (size 9 1/2 shoe, 5'4", 118 lbs.). I suppose the shoe manufacturer expects bigger calves with bigger feet! The boot was very nice-looking with good quality leather and the shoe part was extremely comfortable. Especially the gel in the heel. I returned them but would have kept them if I needed boots to wear over jeans or pants.

Clunky look and uncomfortable rock-hard sole, ouch!I'm surprised at the other reviewers high ratings for comfort on these boots. Mine had a thin piece of felt glued onto the rock-hard sole and no cushioning whatsoever. Definitely the most uncomfortable low-heeled boots I've ever worn. After wearing them 10 minutes I was done, permanently. I ordered the B width and the appearance of the whole foot area is wide and clunky. I could only recommend these to people who are willing to add some type of substantial cushioning inserts.

Cute and comfortable! Makes my big feet look a little smaller - always a good thing! I wear these to work with dress slacks or to dress-up a pair of nice jeans. The toes are roomy, but I have a narrow heel, so I do have a bit of slippage, a common problem for me – can’t blame the shoe. I usually add heel pads to prevent slipping.

They look just like the picture, way better than Uggs and cheaper! Very warm and comfortable. Only thing I don't like is they tend to scruntch down at the bottom, otherwise they are great boots for winter and rain. I highly rec. spraying the boots with a waterproof spray so keep them looking great year after year. I am a size 9 but I went up a size since I wanted to be able to tuck my jeans into them or wear them with heavy socks. The buckles also adjust which is great!

Overall this shoe feels great. However I did notice some heel discomfort due to that part of the boot being slightly narrow. Also after only wearing these boots twice the uncomfortable heel of the sole separated from the boot! I don't know if that was caused by poor quality or my big foot.

Although these shoes are very cute, I have a few problems with them. First the size: I ordered my normal shoe size, an 8 1/2, but they are too big. I would need an 8. Next, the width: I was very excited to find a stylish flat come in W and WW. I ordered the WW to be absolutely sure they would be wide enough, but guess what; Fitzwell's wide is not really wide! It was just like a normal width. It's ridiculous! I did not think my foot looked good in them, so back they went. As for the comfort level, I believe Fitzwell is supposed to be a comfort brand, but I did not find these particular ones to be any more comfortable than a non-comfort line.

LOVE these shoes! This is my third pair. I am a flight attendant and on my feet all day. The black patent looks great with my uniform. They are cute and comfortable. I have a very wide foot, and the pointy toe does not pinch or make my foot look bigger.

This boot did not fit me well. As suggested by others, I ordered my regular size. While the foot was fine, the calf was way too big and I have average to smaller calves.

I agree with others that there is absolutely no padding for your feet with these boots. However, they are the first boot I have ever had that fit snugly around the calf. I have received many compliments, but beware of the comfort factor!
