Overall:

I was looking for a casual loafer and liked the overall look. Felt slightly bigger than expected but not so much that I would return them for a different size.

Classic, but uncomfortable - Love the look of these boots. The leather and detailing are top notch, but I'm returning them. They have no cushioning or arch support and the traction is minimal so they won't do for normal urban walking, especially in Seattle winters where there's always the possibility of slipping when chasing after a bus.

I was quite surprised when I first laid eyes on these boots. They look more expensive than they are. The leather is of excellent quality and the interior is lined with a soft chamois type fabric. I ordered the cognac which is deep, orange-brown, just like in the photo. I usually buy black boots so this is a departure for me. I wouldn't keep them if I thought the color was too garish. In terms of comfort, my heel doesn't slide and the toe box is roomy enough so that my toes don't feel squished. The one downfall in this shoe is that the footbed has absolutely no cushioning. However, the shoe has enough room that I might be able to squeeze in my insoles. I wear a 9.5 and the 9.5 fit me perfectly. I recommend putting a protectant on them as the leather does scruff. Overall, I'm very pleased with this brand.

Very cut shoe, but had to return. The fabric is very stiff across the toe and inched the heel.

Overall:

Nice low heel dressy ankle boot. They can be worn with jeans or dress pants. The boot is true to size in length and width.

I saw these boots on someone and looked them up right away. When they came, I was really disappointed because I have big calves, and they were too narrow for my leg, but since the top is suede. I guessed that they would stretch. I got them to zip (I was sure one of them would not go on, but I got it zipped) and now they have loosened up quite a bit. The boot is very comfortable in the foot. I like the rubber sole, but I'd prefer that it wasn't quite so outdoorsy looking. Tradeoof is they're great on snow and I was nice and warm this morning.

Love these shoes for wearing with jeans. Very comfortable for running around either at work or doing errands, whatever. I agree with the reviewer who wrote this particular shoe does run a little large. I usually wear an 8 but in these shoes, definitely a 7 1/2.

I have shopped everywhere looking for boots that fit my criteria and narrow calves! With all the helpful measurements on Zappo.com, I was able to narrow my search and when these boots arrived they were more fabulous than I had hoped for! Love the service at Zappos and love my boots!

I wore these shoes all night at a party, much of which I was on my feet. I was comfortable. I need a dress shoe that has a heel that isn\'t too high and not too skinny and these shoes were perfect while still being dressy enough for formal wear.

First of all, Zappos truly surprised me received these boots in one day. However, I have thin calves that measure 13 and 1/2. I was so happy to come across such a well made boot that met my requirements, but when I tried them on they were much wider at the calf than stated on website. They overall look great; also the quality of leather is excellent. Just unhappy that they are loose in my calf.

Zappos service is wonderful! These are the most comfortable dress boots I've ever owned. As an equestrian I am very familiar with quality boots but typically dress boots are a disappointment. These are not! The quality and attention to detail in these boots are impeccable and the fit superb.

This is quality leather. It has a stiffer feel and look. There is perfect shaft height. I wore the boots with a knee length black knit dress. I think the boots would look better with a long skirt or pants.

I love these shoes! They are great. Initially, they are not comfortable, but I was able to break them in by first wearing some thick socks and walking around the house a few times. I recommend them. They are very beautiful; go well with pants as well as dresses.

The shoes arrived quickly and in excellent condition, as expected from Zappos. Comfortable with a small heel; gives the shoe the ability to be worn casually or to dress up an outfit also.

Great shoe, comfortable out of the box with little break-in time needed. Cushy insole and leather is pebbled and soft. Heels are just high enough for jeans and shoes look good with dress pants too.

Classic. I just received these boots in the mail today (thanks Zappos for quick shipping!). I've been looking for a riding boot in this color for a while now and the Vira in Cognac is perfect! At first, I was a little hesitant to purchase this boot because of the embossed logo and buttons in the back as I usually prefer something more simple and plain, but all this detail is what makes the boot look very unique and definitely classic. Plus the zipper is so convenient as I can easily get this boot on and off without worrying about stretching the beautiful leather. I am quite petite (4'11") and this hits underneath my knee, which I am perfectly fine with. I usually wear a size 5.5, but I got it in their last size, size 6, which I'm glad I did because with socks, the fit is perfect, not too roomy, nor squishy for my feet. I have somewhat thin calves and I can see why people who have wider calves would have a problem wearing this since it is a bit narrow. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and cannot wait to wear these!

Overall, this is a good looking boot if you are looking for a more casual riding style. It has nice looking leather and details (although I could have done without the big embossed Aigner symbol on the sides). My main problem with these boots is that there is virtually no padding in the foot bed and very little arch support. I have had stress fractures in the balls of my feet so this won't do. I am returning them. They do run big, so order down half a size.

These boots, unlike most shoes for me, are wide enough across the toes. I cannot wear wide shoes because my heel is narrow. The leather is soft enough to not need "breaking-in", so quite comfortable upon first wearing. They look good with skirts without too high a heel.
