About Ella Moss
Ella Moss apparel reflects hip, fun, and quirky designer Pamella Protzel, an LA girl at heart. From daily after-school trips to Beverly Hills and Parisian flea markets excursions, Protzel has always been inspired by art, fashion, people, and traveling. A true style prodigy, at 27, Protzel has already established Ella Moss as one of the hottest, fastest-growing collections within the contemporary arena.
During college, Protzel’s stylist friends raided her closet for her handmade T-shirts and prized vintage pieces to take on photo shoots. It was then that she realized fashion was her true calling. Transferring from Pasadena’s Art Center as a graphic design student, Protzel arrived at The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles without knowing how to make a pattern. As a gifted artist, she started drawing the silhouettes and loved learning how to make her designs come to fruition.
Rather than a scientific approach to fashion design, Protzel relies on her discerning eye and intuition, working with her hands, cutting up T-shirts, and experimenting with different dyes and fabrications for each piece. When designing the green striped cotton dress featured on Sex and The City, Protzel describes the process as more instinctual than calculated. "People ask what my inspiration was for the striped dress group, but I wasn’t actually thinking about specific eras or trends," says Protzel. "I just wanted to create a flowy, feminine dress that had the comfort level of a T-shirt. For me, the design process is more organic."
Although the Ella Moss line has attracted celebrity fans, Protzel doesn’t have plans to create Red Carpet gowns any time soon. Radiating effortless style, Ella Moss clothing is casual, comfortable, and fashionable; each piece can always work back to jeans and flip-flops.

This is a great suit. Colors are true to the photos on-line and my standard size medium fit perfectly. I am a straight shaped (boyish) figured small chested girl and this is a good suit for that body type.
This is such a lovely and sweet swimsuit. I purchased it in the yellow, and it's such a lovely shade of yellow that is not easy to come by. The suit offers just enough cover, and is so stylish. The ruffles by the bust are lovely.

I could not be happier about this suit! It looks just like the picture and fits perfectly! I'm making my honeymoon suit...can't wait for July!
I am a size 4 and these bottoms BARELY covered my bum. The front coverage is great but after trying the small and medium I gave up on these. I'm okay with some bum showing but this was ridiculous. Unless you are tiny with a very, very fit bum, I do not recommend these.
These are so AMAZING! And, shockingly comfortable! I have worn them several times and have received so many compliments! Everyone loves them and so do I. These definitely make the outfit. The wedge makes them easy to wear all day long and to walk in and the print is just so fun. The neutral colors also make them easy to wear with several different things. They are must haves! So excited I found these.
LOVE THESE! They are so comfortable and adorable. I've finally embraced the "smoking slipper" trend because these are worth embracing it for! The print is so cool and looks great with so many things- jeans, brown pants, black pants, khaki, white, shorts! They make any outfit. And, they are leather lined so they are extra comfortable and kind of mold to your feet! Love putting these on.
Cute pattern, but the strings that hang down could get annoying to have to tie and re-tie and constantly adjust.

This swim suit was a hit!!It just says FUN!!! I had to play around with sizes at first, but, it was so cute, I knew I'd find the right size, and that Zappos would help me as well. This all happened, and I had a zillion compliments on this suit while on vacation! Great colors, great true to size fit, and I would buy this brand again. The bottom has side ties.....make sure they are tied "tight", is my only word of caution. Otherwise, this suit gets a 10 on my list.
Love this top! Great print, flattering cut. Just wish the matching bottoms offered a tiny bit more coverage.
I love the style and colors of these bottoms. I've paired it with a solid colored bikini top. I'm under 5'2" about 107 and the small works perfect for me.
I have a large chest 36D and this fits perfect. The ability to adjust it both in front and back makes it very comfortable and flattering for many shapes and sizes. I would order another without hesitation.
