ECCO Golf Reviews
Reviewer: from Lake Erie's North Shores
Overall: Comfort: Style:
I feel like Goldilocks. The 8-8-1/2 was too large; the 7-7-1/2 was too small. Since there's nothing in the middle, I'll have to find another style that's "just right." Too bad. Love the styling and detail. Just not a good fit for me. Rats.
This golf shoe is everything Ecco claims it to be; amazingly comfortable from the moment you put it on to providing the right kind of stability with uphill, downhill, sidehill and in the sand lies. It's not like a sneaker but more like the shoes that make you feel barefoot. I think Ecco is one of the most wearable golf shoes made - and I own several styles, but the Biom is an order of magnitude more comfortable. I prefer replaceable spikes on the course as opposed to their "street-style" shoes, although I have several pair of Street Premiers as well. Only negative comment is that it kind of looks like one of those walking sneaker shoes for senior citizens. As with all Eccos, order a full size smaller than you are.
Love these golf shoes. I was concerned that a spikeless shoe wouldn't provide enough traction, but they're great. I highly recommend them. Just wish Ecco would realize that not all women want "cute" colors. Much better selection of colors for the men's styles.
Great shoes. So good I bought another pair. Longtime Footjoy purchaser. These shoes fit much better fit better then Adidas also.
Not nearly as comfortable as prior Ecco's I've purchased. Walked in them for a short time and got a blister! Definitely wouldn't survive a round of golf on course...
I said I would follow up so here's a brief one. After walking 108 holes in these over a 6 week period I can honestly say these are wonderful shoes. Having said that, they are not running shoe comfortable but that reasonably can't be expected since running shoe can in no way replicate this kind of stable swing platform. I did get a heel blister on my left foot after the first 18 and it was a rather painful one at that but after a few days I was back out walking in them and they felt fairly broken-in and overall really nice. In fact I never even thought about my feet after that. As for recommended improvements to this shoe, I do believe the shoe would be more comfortable with a bit more padding in the collar. It's pretty sparse actually. All in all these shoes are superb and especially nice for walking since they fit snuggly yet provide wiggle room in the toe box and provide a stable platform to boot.
?I really like this golf shoe. I've typically worn soft spikes and like to walk when I'm playing golf rather than taking a cart. Over the past couple of years, I've had ACL reconstruction and a repair for a torn meniscus on my left knee and hoped these shoes would put less stress on my knees. They absolutely do. I haven't seen any difference in traction during my swing but definitely feel the difference in walking. For anyone looking for more comfort, this is the shoe; however, they are a bit narrow. I'd also like to see more traditional color options. The brown and white are the only ones I'd buy.
I'd been playing with traditional spikes, Adidas and Foot Joy, but I developed plantar fasciitis and those shoes hurt the foot a lot. Plus, I always thought that those shoes ran narrow for my feet. I got treatment for the plantar fasciitis, which meant in part that I now wear orthotics, which helped a lot. Then I found these shoes...they're comfortable, they don't hurt my feet, the orthotics fit in there fine, they've allowed me to play golf again pain free. Highly recommended shoe.
These are absolutely the best golf shoes I've ever owned. Very comfortable, great support, great stability. I've always loved Ecco golf shoes and these are the best. They come with blue laces but also include a pair of white laces as well. I was worried about how waterproof they would be but they worked great in wet conditions. Looks like they'll last a long time.
Best golf shoes yet from Ecco. I just come back from a golf trip in Pinehurst playing total 7 rounds wearing them. It's very comfortable and didn't even affect my toes callus. Highly recommended amid the price.
Incredibly comfortable! Note on sizes: 44 is more like 10-1/2 and 45 is more like 11-1/2. I was wearing Nike 11 but needed the 44. If you walk 18 holes, buy these shoes!
Have tried many different golf shoes. This is by far the best shoe. Needed no break in, played golf the day I got them and for first time no pain from walking. Only issue was size, but Zappos had me the right size the next day.
I find that Ecco shoes run large. I wear a 11 but the 44 fits better than the 45 (ordered both and returned the 45). The shoes are great, most comfortable golf shoe I have ever worn. Played 3 rounds in them and feet feel great afterwords. Plus no concerns with sole provide good traction. Will buy another pair in white/brick as soon as come available in my size.
Beautifully made golf shoes, but short on style, and when I received them my reaction was I have a hard time paying this price for what basically looks like a sneaker. Also, this is a really weird color combination and when I held it up to my golf outfits, it wouldn't have gone with much - so I'm returning them.

I love these shoes. I bought these after reading countless reviews. I bought one other pair as well. These fit the best. I wore them on my recent golf outing in hot weather. I played three rounds of golf over three days. Usually my feet give out on me after one round. With these my feet did not hurt at all. Best of all my back felt just fine enough to play one more round. Hands down best investment I ever made.
Very comfortable and good fit. Very good grip as well. White color gets dirty quickly. Not hard to clean but a bit worse than I thought.
I play a lot of golf, and I walk and carry my bag. I also have very difficult feet and have to wear an orthotic. I bought these just the other day on the advice from a friend and they are incredible and worth every penny of the price. When you first put them on, it isn't like putting on a new pair of shoes that you have to break in, but like a comfy, old pair of slippers! I walked 18 holes the first time I had them on and absolutely felt incredible afterwards. No foot, let or back pain. I will be purchasing other pairs in different colors!
The best golf shoe that I have ever purchased. I can easily walk 18 and not feel any discomfort. No break-in period, you can wear them straight from the box. Even though I wear a size 9 in most shoes, I have to order a size 42 instead of a 43 for a good fit.
This is the third pair of ECCO golf shoes I have had, but the other two were a more conventional leather design. Overall, I was very pleased with these shoes, but I did have a problem with blistering of my left heel when they were initially worn. I was not sure I would be able to wear them because of this problem but with further breaking the problem seems to have been minimized.
