I have just purchased my second pair of the Ecco Coto Ballerina. They are my go to shoes to wear with a pair of jeans or leggings. I wore my first pair over a year. A very comfortable shoe if you have to walk a lot ( i.e. shopping ). I did notice that since the leather so soft and supple, the year old shoes do show a bit of leather wear, but I feel I got my money's worth.

These shoes are great. They are comfortable for the most part overall. However, they tend to lack the support needed for extending shopping or standing. But for a shoe that can be used with denim or something more dressy, they are a good value and quality.

This is a beautiful red shoe! It is fairly comfortable. I get so many compliments from it. My friends call it my ruby slipper and it really makes a plain outfit pop. I highly recommend it.

Cute and comfortable. Much more support than a regular ballet flat, but with the same look. I have plantar fasciitis and am able to wear these for long periods of time. Runs true to size and width.

I love them! I usually wear a 7.5/8, and the 38 fit snug but comfortably. These are versatile and surprisingly comfortable. Great investment. And trust me, these shoes look even better in person!

Additional Brand Information

ECCO began as a response to uncompromising footwear. More than 40 years ago in the small southern Jutland town of Bredebro, Denmark, Karl Toosbuy pioneered a revolution in footwear, choosing comfort over conformity. Tired of having his feet mold to his shoes, he charged that the foot should lead the shoe. A new type of footwear was born in ECCO shoes, crafted both by hand and "by heart".

ECCO doesn't compromise. Comfort, flexibility, Scandinavian design, and thriving innovation lead the way, shaping how ECCO builds men's shoes, women's shoes, and childrens' shoes.

Quality and craftsmanship make ECCO shoes famous and create loyal fans who prize their comfort and value. Choose ECCO shoes, sandals, and boots, like many, you may never choose to wear any other footwear. Comfort, without compromising trends or the times, makes ECCO shoes the right choice.

Great flats! I have a very narrow heel and hate wearing flats for this reason. But the back of this shoe doesn’t slip and these shoes were comfortable from the first time I slipped on. Really pretty on my feet, too. It was more than I wanted to spend, but well worth it because I can wear every day and with many different outfits.

I loved these for about a year or so. Comfortable, cute, nice with jeans. The soft heal always had a tendency to slip off and would need readjusting from time to time, but this didn\'t bother me at first. One the elastic on the back started to age, these became impossible to keep on. I\'ve had to toss them. I usually love Eccos and have them last a very long time, so this was a disappointment.

Flats have always been hard for me to wear with most of them having no arch support. After trying these on, I fell in LOVE! I have a med to wide foot and these shoes fit perfectly! Extreme comfort and arch support. These shoes run true to size and don't need much breaking in. I think I might need one more color!

I love the look of flats but I have a really hard time finding confort in ballet flats. This was the first shoe I\\\'ve found to have arch support. I ended up buying three pairs!!\\r\\n\\r\\nBest shoe ever!

As always great service with Zappos! These shoes were here in no time. I got a 39 Medium. I usually am an 8.5 US size and used to be a 38 European size. So thought the 39 would for sure fit. Wrong. They run small and are very tight and not comfortable, which is unfortunate for the prize. I am considering getting them in wide, but may have to return. The shoe looks lovely though.

Great shoes! Cute and comfy. The back heel of the shoe rubbed the back of my ankle at first, but after a day of breaking them in, they were fine. I have a narrow heel, and the elastic on the back of the shoes was perfect for my feet.

Stiff at first, especially the little tab that sticks up in back, but they softened up quickly with a little wear around the house and I never got the blister I had feared. A good choice for narrow feet (can't usually wear ballet flats as they gap around the sides and the heels slip off). They are true to size. I am a 6.5 usually but ordered a 37 after reading other reviews; way too big! I ended up with the 36 and it is perfect. Love the rubber soles, not slippery.

Bought these shoes last week and I wore them for a six hour shopping trip and they did really well; good arch support. The front of the shoe is not cut real low, and the toe box is larger so this makes for a comfortable shoe. I normally wear a size 7 or 7.5, but I could wear a size 37 in these. They are really cute and I would recommend buying.

These seem to run big. I had to go down a 1/2 size. I have Ecco sandals and take an 11, so I thought that these would be the same size. And for an Ecco shoe, they are not very comfortable. I was really surprised at that. There is not much padding inside, and being a low cut shoe, there isn't much room to add an insole.

I could actually get my feet in these unlike any other ballerina shoes but my toes are very cramped and the heels are far too roomy, slip and come up too high.

I usually have great luck with ECCO. These are comfortable. I wanted a shoe that would be a quick put on and look a bit dressed up. I have bunion issues so a comfortable toe box is really important to me.

Finally a ballet flat that is very comfortable, doesn't make my (size 8.5/39, on the wide side) foot look like a boat, or show cleavage. I did not want to spend $130, but the fit and the super soft leather sold me. The leather is so soft, and I am so hard on shoes, that I thought they would probably stretch out fairly fast (they did), so I tried on one size down. The smaller size was comfortable, but I wanted the room in the toe box so I kept the larger size. I wore them almost every day for a year before I needed to replace them. The leather on the new pair is still soft, but they are a bit tighter than my first pair. It almost seems like they are constructed a bit differently. Not quite as comfy, but they still look great (get many compliments) and it feels like they're not going to stretch out as fast or easily. I wasn't sure if I liked the elastic on the back at first, but it helps greatly with keeping the shoe from slipping, and it does not cut into the heel like some shoes do. The little keyhole/bow is a nice dressy, feminine touch without being too cutesy or fussy.

I own two pair of this shoe, one red and one white. Both are very comfortable, roomy, and easy to keep clean by using Vaseline to take off any marks or dust.

These are my new favorite shoes. They are cute and stylish, but above all comfortable. They are on the expensive end but worth the money. I've received many compliments. I have them in black and I'm considering buying the red ones.

I've been trying to find a ballerina flat to fit my foot for eons... after many years in ballet, I've been left with the dreaded bunions, and subsequent surgeries to fix them. These flats have a nice rounded toe box, and the elasticized heel prevents them from being sloppy. They are sophisticated enough for skirts and slacks, but sturdy enough for a decent walk on city streets. A great investment!
