Great boot, similar fit and finish to other Ecco boots I have owned. Little break in required. After a few days' wear, very comfortable. Nice wide, roomy toe box with moccasin style. Lining is warm and great for fall and winter. Not a hiking boot, but good for outdoor activities: football games, shopping. Good for damp and wet weather, but not a downpour.

I love the fact that these boots are made of genuine leather and sheep skin (at least, that's what it seems to me). It was a huge disappointment when I got the boots was the fact that they do not have a zipper, which for a tall and skinny boot like this one should be a must. It's extremely uncomfortable to pull them on and off. I am even afraid that with time I might break the skin at the seam, connecting the skin with the bottom leather part. If it were not for the pull-on style, I would definitely have kept them, as they are beautiful and comfortable.

These boots are extremely soft yet supportive and were, for me, totally comfortable right out of the box. I have problem feet so shoes that feel (and look!) good are hard to find. Ecco shoes in general are great, but these little desert boots are extra special. The toe box is roomy and the top of the boot is very soft, so any hammer toe problems are taken care of. The blue laces and blue trim on the sole add an extra style touch, but if you want to go incognito, dark brown laces are included. One little word re the lacing: mine came laced sort of "backwards" with the cross-over on the bottom side, and this makes them a bit difficult to loosen up to put on. I haven't changed it yet and may not because it looks nice, but it does take a bit more effort to put them on. I would highly recommend these boots for comfort, style, and support.

This shoe is good-looking, versatile, fits well, and is extremely comfortable. What more does someone with problem feet (or really ANY feet) want? I\'ve had foot surgery on both feet within this past year, and most of the shoes I had either didn\'t fit or just plain hurt my feet. So I bought the Ecco Charm Tie in black because I was sick and tired of wearing only athletic shoes. There are only so many places you can get by with big, clunky running shoes, especially when it\'s quite obvious that you\'re not running any place. So I decided to give these shoes a try, partly because of the reviews and partly because I liked the look and thought they would support my feet while maybe not looking SO much like that was the whole big idea. Well, I got them and within a couple of days, I ordered them in brown also. Now I\'m taking care of my (expensive)feet and not looking so inappropriate at the same time. Great shoes! Highly recommended.

I have been wearing Ecco shoes for several years and convinced my wife to try Ecco and see if their comfort beats all of the other brands she had been wearing. This is the 3rd pair of Eccos that she owns now and each pair only gets better. Comfort, style and wearability are all words one can use to describe Ecco. You might pay a little more, but you won't regret your purchase!

Agree with others, they run one half size larger, so order one half size smaller. Process, service and ease of dealing with Zappos was excellent. I'll come again.

The shoes at first feel so comfortable I loved them. Then I started to notice pain in my heels after wearing them for some time. The shoe has no real heel so you are walking pretty flat. I noticed the new Ecco's now have a heel. The store clerk for Ecco's said they had been receiving a lot of complaints from other people. Will try the new style with some heel as the rest of the shoe is like butter and comfortable from the first time you wear them.

These are such cute shoes! I love them, my husband loves them, and they look great dressy or semi casual. I will say though, that they are not super comfy and will not be shoes you want to walk for hours in. They just don't have much cushioning in the footbed, which is typical of most flats. I tried to find some with more, but if they do exist, they aren't cute! Oh, and I did have to add a heel grip because the heel slipped.

These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on; true to size (though it always helps to know your Ecco size). Very classy and good for walking, still look nice enough to be dressy. I've also ordered it in the brown, and got two other pairs in Ecco's similar styles.

Avoid at all cost. Ecco makes a very nice looking all weather work boot; unfortunately they have a major manufacturing defect. The bottoms are plastic and will break/crack/fall off if the shoes are kept in warm temperature. Customer service is spotty; the stores that sell the shoes are unable to help and corporate customer service does not respond promptly. Buyer beware.

Unfortunately, Ecco no longer manufactures these shoes in Denmark. The Track II's I had in the 90s lasted for 8 years without leaking, tearing, or losing any of the amazing cushion in sole. I bought a new pair a few years ago and the seams have already started to leak and the soles are wearing through. The cushion in the sole disappeared after six months. This shoe is a shell of its former self, and not worth the money.

These shoes are awesome. I wear lots of flats and many of them cut into the side under my big toe bone, so they get uncomfortable after a few hours of wearing and walking. These, however, are very comfortable and come down low enough over the toes so that they don't dig in. I have them in gray and black. The black color looks sort of purplish, dark gray and black all at the same time. So if you wear them with different outfits, the color is enhanced.

First off, these run a size larger than stated, so order the next size down from what you normally wear. I normally wear a 45, but had to get a 44 in these. I have several pairs of Eccos and the Berlin boot does not disappoint. Perfect right out of the box with little break in time. Gore-Tex lining is perfect for those rainy and cold days. After wearing these several times, they begin to form to your feet, making them even more comfortable. Looks great with a suit or khakis or even jeans.

About ECCO

ECCO ECCO began as a response to uncompromising footwear. More than 40 years ago in the small southern Jutland town of Bredebro, Denmark, Karl Toosbuy pioneered a revolution in footwear, choosing comfort over conformity. Tired of having his feet mold to his shoes, he charged that the foot should lead the shoe. A new type of footwear was born in ECCO shoes, crafted both by hand and "by heart".

ECCO doesn't compromise. Comfort, flexibility, Scandinavian design, and thriving innovation lead the way, shaping how ECCO builds men's shoes, women's shoes, and childrens' shoes.

Quality and craftsmanship make ECCO shoes famous and create loyal fans who prize their comfort and value. Choose ECCO shoes, sandals, and boots, like many, you may never choose to wear any other footwear. Comfort, without compromising trends or the times, makes ECCO shoes the right choice.
