Overall:

Cute, but surprisingly uncomfortable. I am a big fan of Ecco, but these shoes hurt my feet every time I wear them.

I am amazed by the fit of these flats. As I\'ve aged, my once very narrow feet have developed bunions and hammertoes, and because my heels are still narrow, Mary Janes have been the only option for me until I tried these Eccos. The top of the heel has a bit of stretch which somehow keeps them on, and they have a large toebox without looking orthopedic. I love them!

I wanted a stylish, comfortable pair of oxfords that I could wear with jeans and other casual pants. As soon as I put them on, they felt great. My feet look nice and streamlined. I\'m going to NYC next weekend to shop with my friends and can\'t wait to wear them!

I ordered my third pair of Ecco Cross shoes from Zappos today. These are the greatest fitting, most comfortable shoes I\'ve ever owned. I can wear them 16 hours a day and my feet feel great. With any other men\'s shoe I\'ve owned in 70+ years I couldn\'t go more than 8-10 hours without needing to get them off. They are almost indestructible and the only reason I\'m buying another pair is to give them a rest. The original pair are still as good as new after several years of daily use!

These are my first pair of Ecco shoes. Overall, a great purchase. The style goes well with trousers and casual skirt outfits. It has a bit of conservative punch with the metal studs on the toes. The shoe is on the stiff side but very comfortable even at first wearing. It\'s the type of shoe one could wear all day long and not notice anything. I normally wear 7.5 - 8, and the 38 fit me perfectly.

I have owned at least 7-8 pairs of this style, going back almost 8 years. I walk every day with the Track II for at least an hour, on pavement and rough trails for exercise, and these are also my everyday shoes. Unless I'm wearing my Ecco dress shoes (the plain toe black ones), at a conference or for work (I don't have to dress up for work unless I travel, which is rare). I refuse to believe what I see here as some bogus stories about how these shoes don't wear well! These are my main everyday and walking shoe, for the purchase price I get a shoe that wears like iron with all that walking, for at least a year, often just over a year. These shoes are broken in and comfortable almost immediately. I have not found a better shoe. I have never tried Mephisto, but I have tried all the others, and these are the best! Also, I can put these on with a pair of jeans and a casual sport coat; I get compliments on these shoes, even then.

Cute shoes. They feel and look well made. However, the fit isn\'t ideal - looser and wider than other Eccos I\'ve purchased. I will keep them, but need to use inserts.

Doesn't look orthopedic, dressy enough for me to wear to a wedding & be comfortable for 12 hours. I have high arches that sometimes show in flats, but these kept my high arches covered.

Comfortable, stylish but they run large. I originally bought a 37 (I am usually a 6 1/2) and had to purchse the smaller size. I get compliments whenever I wear them. Wish they came in a black patent, then they would be the perfect shoe.

I am an avid Ecco shoe buyer. This is my favorite shoe from Ecco! It is cute and a really pretty red color. After a day of breaking them int they are so comfortable.

Comfortable and cute. Only one minor annoyance: I have these shoes in red patent and get lots of compliments on them. They are a beautiful rich red. They are extremely comfortable with one problem; they don't breathe at all. If I do not wear trouser socks/stockings, my feet sweat a lot. Not really a problem when I wear trouser stockings, but I prefer the look of none. I have a pair of Geox patent flats, and I don't have the same problem with them (well, not a fair comparison considering Geox's whole positioning point is that they are breathable!). I am still happy with these, but please do keep that in mind when ordering if you are a bare-foot-in-flats kind of person.

This is a very comfortable shoe that is also very handsome. I have a narrow and relatively flat foot, but the shoe fits comfortably. Ecco makes a quality product that I have never been disappointed with.

I was invited unexpectedly to go to China to give a paper at the 12th Chinese Congress on Psychology. This was my first trip to China, but I knew I would be doing a lot of walking so I went to a local store for their recommendations. The clerk recommended Ecco shoes, but did not have anything in stock for my size & the style I wanted. I did not have two weeks to wait, either. So, I ordered two pair of Ecco shoes rush delivery. I liked these and returned the other pair. These shoes were comfortable from the start and served well on the long flights and many miles of walking on many kinds of surfaces in the Middle Kingdom.

I bought these several years ago as an alternative to snow boots. We don\'t get much snow around here, though we do get some ice, so only wearing these when it snows or is icy meant they were worn 5-10 times per year. I had them about 5 years (5 years when wearing them 5-10 times per year means there was little to no wear seen or expected). I had to throw them away because the outer sole started to completely disintegrate leaving little pieces of rubber everywhere. Given how often I wore them, and the price, I would have expected these to last a lot longer.

These are the perfect cold weather boot. They are comfortable and have a cool design. I just put them on and they are a little tight in the heel, but should stretch a little and then be perfect.

Unfortunately, I\'ve only worn these twice because they\'re extremely uncomfortable. I have a pair of Ecco wedge-heel sandals that I can literally walk in all day, so I was surprised at how much these flats hurt.\r\n\r\nI can, however, say how pleased I am with the level of customer service at Zappos. Whether you just have a question, want to place an order or need to return something the customer service is truly outstanding. Thank you for treating your customers in a way long forgotten by most.

I like these shoes with jeans, which are a wardrobe staple for me. They do not pinch my toes or rub my heels - they feel great! I have a pre-existing condition due to an old injury of my left foot, and I can wear these shoes all day without discomfort. That said, the arch support could be just a wee bit better, but they are still awesome shoes. In addition, Zappos' wonderful service can NOT be topped by any company out there! I am a Zappos-for-life customer. Thanks, Zappos!

I bought these for traveling because they looked so much better than a sneaker and had a little heel. I now wear them anytime I am going to be on my feet all day. They are perfect, totally comfortable. Love them.

This shoe is cute and easy to wear with decent support and padding (maybe a little pinchy around the toes). Dressy but not too, looks great with pants and skirts and feels a lot better than the no-support ballet flats.

Cute and a little funky! Ecco makes another great shoe. Great, round toe box. Very walkable heel. I had no idea what "Ascot Macau" color was; it's a rich, marbled dark purple/charcoal blend. Just punchy enough to stand out from all the black patent leather out there. Wish there were a tad more padding under the ball of the foot, though.

I was so looking forward to these shoes because I love the ankle strap, but they are not comfortable. They do run narrow, and they impose pressure right where people generally have bunions (I don\'t have bunions, but that\'s where it hurts). Also, there is no arch support, and though the front of the shoe is narrow, the heel part is too wide and doesn\'t support my heel. Big disappointment for me.

I keep shoes for a long time and don\'t remember when I bought my last pair. These Ecco shoes felt good when I put them on and have stayed so, and I\'m on my feet for a long time. Yeah, I would recommend them. They\'re easy to walk in, light, comfortable, and the service is good. I did notice a significant price increase from when I bought mine to currently, though.
