I'm really disappointed with the quality of the straps on this shoe. I had bought the Sensata shoe in brown last year and wear them constantly (though slightly different style). The straps for last year's version are folded over and sewn on the underside to make them feel substantial. However the straps for the Sensata shoe this year are raw on the edge with stitching along the top. They feel flimsy compared to last year's version, so I can't justify the price this year. Otherwise, they're comfortable, and if I couldn't compare them to last year's version, I may feel differently.

I really love these shoes because they are very comfortable. I have bunions. I prefer the wide straps rather than the thin one on several other Ecco styles. 95% of the time I buy Ecco and am seldom disappointed (except with narrow straps).

I love this shoe, it feels great at the end of the day, and I have gotten a ton of comments on the color. The only problem I had was that they are a little too tight around the balls of my feet. I ordered a 45 which is what I wear normally, according to the size chart, but felt confined in them. I ordered the same style in a different color, in a size 46, and even though they are a tad bit longer, they are wider. The 46 is also easier to slide your foot into. I had to loosen the shoestrings and fold the sides out, hold the tongue up and then slide my foot in slowly to get on the 45's.

It's very well-made, but it's small -- too small to fit anything but a naked iPad into. I have a fairly slim keyboard cover for my iPad, and it wouldn't fit.

Karl Toosbuy wanted to make shoes that did not need to be broken in. They should fit like a glove. That became the beginning of ECCO’s revolutionary concept: to create shoes that were more comfortable, lasted longer and enabled people to move naturally.
By making shoes that outlast trends and allow the foot to move naturally, we free people to live more actively and spontaneously. It lets our wearer go further, stay longer, do more and be more.
