Overall:

I love these boots; they are as cool as I thought that they would be! The only problem is, I ordered an 8 1/2 which is what I usually order anymore for most of my shoes, especially my sport shoes. I should have ordered an 8. They have already stretched a bit as well (such nice leather) so I had to go buy inserts so that they fit properly and wear thicker socks! It is my fault that I didn't send them back and get the smaller size. Oh well, I made it work!

I ordered these boots because I thought they\'d be versatile, due to the removable strap/chain. When I tried them on, the left boot felt loose, but the right boot felt tight. This is interesting because my left foot has been broken twice and has arthritis, and if anything, requires a larger size. So these boots are going back. Zappos, however, was great, as usual. The shipment of the boots was upgraded at no charge to 24 hour delivery, and sure enough they arrived the next day, even though I live in a small town. Talk about immediate gratification!

I just got my boots in the mail! I took everyone's advice and ordered a 1/2 size smaller. Glad I did. They fit well with enough room for thicker socks.

These boots are as comfortable as sneakers and a lot more stylish! I have purchased three style/color options. The size is true, both description and picture are accurate. A bang for the buck item that is backed equally by customer service!

Love these boots. They are comfortable (long because of the pointed toe) and true to size. Look great with jeans or slacks. They are my go-to boots. Heel is perfect and the look of the boot is neat. The boot is heavy but is not overly uncomfortable.

Love these shoes. I have always loved the look of cowboy boots with jeans, but usually the shaft of the boots get to be too much to go under the pant leg. These shoes are the perfect answer. They fit true to size and don't pinch anywhere. Not even in the pointy toe! The heel height is perfect too, just enough to give you a little lift (height) without the wobble of "high heels".

Excellent cowboy style boots. Where has this been all my life? I've been looking a long time for a boot that has the cowboy style pointy toe, but that didn't need to be worn over my jeans. This is perfect. Very sturdy and good quality. That this comes in a distressed-looking black version (black flake) was an added bonus. It also has a bit of built in arch support in the sole that makes them super comfortable. I ordered my normal size, and there is a teensy bit of wiggle room. Since I don't plan on wearing socks with these, this will not be a problem for me, but others desiring a snug fit may want to order half size down, as other comments have suggested.

After trying on many boots to find just the right ones, these were it for me. The leather was soft, making it easy to walk in opposed to the stiffer upper portion on other boots. I can't say that I use these for any western type wear, but they are very cute for both tucking your pant leg in or leaving it on the outside of the boot.

I loved the look of these boots and wanted them so bad. I usually wear a size 10, but based on the review, I ordered in a 9.5. Way too big. Returned, and ordered in an 8.5. The length was good, but the "heel" area was so wide, my feet almost came out of them when walking. Returned them, but Zappos awesome service made all this possible within 2 days! I really needed something before the weekend and only Zappos makes that possible.

Let me start by saying Zappos customer service is #1! The speed at which things are shipped and arrive is amazing. The boots are great, they do run large so don\'t be tempted to size up, fashionable without being too trendy. Great buy.

Love my new boots, they are everything I was hoping for and more, from comfort to totally posh! If you are looking for a boot to pair with jeans, skirts, leggings these are the ones. The "de-stressed" look of the leather makes the outfit pop with style! May I add, the customer service team unbelievable. I ordered these boots needed them in two days for a trip. When I asked if it was possible I was told "We will get these to you overnight." Now that's customer service, first class!

These boots are awesome. The leather is very soft and the fit is great. There's some looseness, but it feels like the right kind of looseness. I liked the simplicity of the boot, very basic without all the frills and scalloped edges, but also sleek and nice. Go for it!

I love my Durango boots. I was tired of wearing high heeled boots and these are a great alternative. The bonus is they are very warm. You do need to order half a size smaller. They come with great instructions on how to care for your boots which I thought was worth the read. I will never again be without this type of boot, fabulous, and they came very quickly after I ordered them. Get 'em, enjoy 'em, wear 'em! You don't have to be a country girl to wear them, and like them (but it doesn't hurt).

I wanted to be a cowboy for Halloween but never thought I could get my wide feet in a pair of cowboy boots. But these fit as advertised and have a great look. Originally the right was slightly tighter than the left, which fit perfectly, so I give comfort 4/5 stars, but after a few days of wearing them, it is not as noticeable. I will definitely be wearing these for more than just Halloween.

I love these ankle boots. I've been looking for them for the last two years since my original ones that lasted over 15 years (4 resoles and at least 6 heel replacements), finally gave out on me. I just wish they had them in brown or light tan. They are great since I have a very narrow heel and these boots truly hold my heel. I actually wear size 10 1/2 and these are a little snug, but they are very comfortable and my feet don't hurt the next day like when I have to wear athletic/tennis shoes.

These boots are great! I love them to death. They look great with jeans or cords and once they\'ve been broken in (it took a day or two) they are quite comfortable. As far as fit goes, I usually wear an 8 1/2 - 9 and the first pair I purchased were in that size, however they were incredibly tight, hard to get on and hurt the top of my feet. I exchanged them for a size 9 and the larger size fit much better. There is very little cushioning, but that can be added with little difficulty. All in all I love these boots and Zappos customer service. It\'s the best!

Was contemplating these vs similar looking Frye vs an Ariat boot. Frye was totally uncomfortable and not worth the price. Ariat was comparable to the Durango in comfort, but a bit of a tight fit for me (and I have narrow feet). The Durango fits like a glove (I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 shoe, but I got a 7 in this boot). It has great arch support. The toe box is a bit narrower than expected. I wore them all day on day one and had no blisters. The boots seem to be forming to my foot shape already. Love 'em and am considering the black pair as well.

I love my Durango Harness boots!!! I ordered the Frye variety as well and the Durangos are more comfortable by far. And $100 cheaper to boot-ha! I wear an 8.5, ordered an 8.5 and they are perfect. No break in to speak of. Off I go on a trip in my new boots feeling and looking Good!
