I have been searching for a sandal that is right for my hubby for two years, I kept settling for less. Zappos had just the shoe and free shipping, even returns are free, it took two tries. Bought these sandals because they were stylish. Have only had them 3 1/2 months and worn them average of one time per week but they are falling apart already. Not well made.

I have been searching for a sandal that is right for my hubby for two years, I kept settling for less. Zappos had just the shoe and free shipping, even returns are free, it took two tries. They are great. Good quality, good fit and fast, free shipping. They credited my account for the returned pair quickly and with no hassle. I am a forever customer.
I'd also recommend: Try them till you get it right!

I felt the Dunham sandal was comfortable and true, it offers sure footedness, not like most sandals, a joy on warm day,s.

These are decent sandals, but the principal flaw is the strap in the back. It is not flexible in where you can place it. If you have smaller heels, they may not fit you very well.

I've worn these sandals for the past couple weeks; wanted to make sure I was satisfied (or not) with them before writing a review. I have an "unusual" foot size: 10.5 4E. Narrower than 4E (AKA XW) doesn't work for me, period. The Dunham Monterey Fisherman is one of the very few stylish, comfortable sandals made for my size. And Zappos is one of a few retailers I'm able to find that carry anything (other than sneakers) in my size. In short: I love 'em. They look good with slacks, they look good with blue jeans. They keep my feet reasonably cool in the Texas heat. And, most importantly, they're very comfortable. More generically: if you have extra-wide feet like mine, I'd encourage you to vote with your wallet. I can't find a local retailer with leather sandals (or dress shoes, for that matter) that fit me, so a 'net company - Zappos - has my full attention right now.
