These size 9 6E Dunham Burlington shoes are well made, comfortable and exceed all my expectations. I like them so well that I bought 2 more pair that I have stashed in the closet for future use. I worn them every day delivering mail for the past year and they are outperforming all shoes I've previously worn doing the same job. They are a little pricey but worth every penny.

I have wide feet (6E) and a high arch. Dunham Burlington shoes (9x6E) fit my usual 8 1/2x6E feet so well that I ordered the last 3 pairs that were in stock. They fit as if molded to my foot. And, they are well built and look good. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Zappos service is unbelievable! They went way above my expectations. I am recommending Zappos to all my friends. The world would be a better place if all business's worked like Zappos.

I'm the epitome of flat, narrow, low-volume feet and really notice shoes that aren't true to size. They were initially hard on the feet, but actual sizing felt accurate, and after a brutal 2 week break-in (especially heels), they became hands-down the most supportive and comfortable shoes I own. They still look new and feel great after a year of veterinary work too. Cons? Not a versatile style aka the ~$10 cheaper Dunham Windsors, which I also really like. Waterproof leather polishes easily, doesn't breathe so well. Comfortable, well-made, and dressy is a rare combo at any price.

I bought these shoes for my son who wears size 14 shoes and he could not believe how comfortable they were the first time he wore them. I thought he would have sore feet for the first few times he wore them and he did not. He has worn them several times and he has never had one complaint about them and he is very picky to please when it comes to shoes because it is hard to find good and comfortable shoes in his size. He is very pleased with these shoes and it is just wonderful that Zappos has lots of shoes in the bigger shoe sizes to pick from. These shoes are very good looking, comfortable, and fit perfectly. We have not seen any signs of scuffing either.

These shoes are great! The first pair was so comfortable, I ordered a second pair. Great shoes for anyone that has to walk all day at work. Zappos rocks!
Brands I'd also recommend: None, these are the best i\'ve ever tried.

Too Narrow - I bought these shoes for my dad. He wears size 11 B-narrow width. The length was great but the narrow was too tight. He was going to get the D-medium width but there were no more in stock. He has returned them and will get something else. But overall, he said the shoes were comfortable and true to size.

Finally, style for wide feet - Spouse has extremely wide feet due bone problems, plus can't stand to shop. Limited wide shoes around us and 3E just not cut wide enough anymore. He likes the 'mailman' shoe but bought these. I liked them out of the box and once he tried on wore them to work the same day (with a suit). So they must be really comfortable for this fussy guy. The foot even looks smaller and sides of feet don't look like they are hanging over the sole. Nice sole, tongue and 10 hole lacing. Dressy and waterproof. Will be great in winter since he doesn't wear boots. Room for inserts if he needs extra arch.
Brands I'd also recommend: Try Red Wing or Rockport XW or 5E oxford styles

Mixed bag - The shoes felt great the 1st time I wore them, but actually blistered the side of my heel badly. I was unable to wear any normal fitting shoe for a week. However, after my heel healed I wore them again and they again felt great and did not cause another blister. They also look great.
Brands I'd also recommend: I have never purchased shoes on-line before.

Solid Value - Not the most inexpensive shoe, but well worth the price. Good quality leather with no loose ends on the stitching. This is a solid casual shoe with traditional styling and no nonsense construction. The fit is dead on for my very wide foot.

Perfect for outdoor yet respectable shoe - Nice, basic look over all. Great for winter where there are mixtures of snow, slush, and rain. Enjoy the fit. Appreciate that the insole slips out so I can put my arch supports under the insole.

A little on the wide side - I wear a 14 4E and was a former Rockport lover, but recently their wide shoe selection or lack there of has disappointed me. Luckily, I found a great replacement in Dunham. The Battery Park is a nice dressy and comfortable shoe. I would only have two complaints. The first is that these shoes do run a little wide. I have purchased Dunham's before so I know how their widths fit. Nothing that a thicker sock won't remedy. The other, as another review had mentioned, is that around the "ankle opening" it is a little rough and may cause some irritation which I'm sure will disappear with wear. Hope this helps!

Great shoes, great service - I'm a 4E, so my selections are limited. I'm a Dunham/New Balance Man! The way I shopped in the past was to look for the size at the end of the box and then open it up to see if I liked the shoe. Zappos makes it easy for me. Super web site.

Awesome shoe for wide feet - This is an excellent, durable shoe. I'm still wearing the pair I bought in October 2004 but they don't look "spiffy" enough for work now so I needed a new pair. Also, can't say enough good things about Zappos. Made an exchange without question and shipped overnight! So quick & easy. Will definitely do business again, especially as they carry 6E shoes!
Brands I'd also recommend: Florsheim Welles #18358 (Only 5E - Dunham was 6E)

Dunham Battery Park - Took a while to break in. I have trouble finding good shoes due to sore metatarsals and high arches. I liked the Dunham 9100 (Bradford) but that was discontinued. These are nicer but not as cushioned. Once broken in however, I really like them. I wear power step slim fit orthotics and they fit very nicely.

Shoe not sized as marked - This was the 4th pair of these shoes that I've purchased. The previous ones were all great and I highly recommend them as a daily wearer for a commuter with a fair amount of walking as part of the commute. However, this last pair was NOT the size that the shoes and the box were marked. Putting them up against my last pair sole to sole, the soles were a full half inch narrower and about 1/4" shorter. They were clearly a different sized shoe, and not just a manufacturing variance. Needless to say, Zappos took care of the exchange quickly and I got another pair (same size markings) 2 days later that were properly sized.

Dunham's Battery Park Waterproof Oxford - A tad wider than a "B" or "C", but this is OK since most "narrow" shoes nowadays are far too narrow. Overall, great looks, quality construction, quite comfortable... and Zappos' service is top-notch.
