Battery Park Waterproof Oxford - I was a great fan of the New Balance dress shoe/casual collections as those shoes had the comfort of trainers but with classic looks. This isn't up to that standard. The shoe is comfortable and provides good arch support but it has a clumpier feel than I would have liked and the styling could be improved to make the lines cleaner and more classic looking. However, it feels solid and is certainly waterproof.

Great Fit - This is the most comfortable shoe that I have worn in my 54 years. Would recommend it to anyone. The only drawback that I can find is that it seems to scuff easier that other shoes I have worn. This shoe fits so well I find myself wearing it around the house rather than my sneakers.

Classy Shoe - This is a classy shoe, that in my opinion could easily be worn either as a dress or casual shoe. In short, it is roomy, comfortable, supportive, and looks great. And the great price makes it a slam dunk! Why look anywhere else?

Not Bad. Not bad at all. This is a good shoe at a good price. It is indeed waterproof, and it takes a good Kiwi shine. The first week the back of my right heel got sore and I needed a gauze pad as a cushion. But I healed, the shoe "broke in" and it's fine now. I won't say it's like walking on a cloud, but it's certainly not an uncomfortable shoe. So that's it. Good shoe. Good price. You would not be wrong to buy this shoe.

I own a pair of Dunham Burlingtons, and they've worked well for me. I haven't quite broken in the Battery Park Oxfords, but they are attractive and show every sign of being as comfortable and practical as the Burlingtons while being slightly dressier in style.

Dunham shoes are a real find - The shoes were comfortable and fit well. They have a roomy instep, so my orthotic was comfortable. The removable inner sole is great because I can insert my orthotic under it and it still feels good. The only draw back so far is that the shoe has a bit of a tennis sneaker smell after a hard day, more than any of my other shoes. The waterproof claim was substantiated during the recent snowstorm. Nice and dry. This is dressy enough for office work, but cushioned enough for my tired old feet. The Zappos free shipping is the real deal. I needed to try out several pairs before I found the Dunham Battery. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Dunham is a street shoe brand for New Balance athletic shoes, which I have worn for years, so it has a great heritage.

Frank B - A solid leather, good looking shoe. Very good for business casual look. To break them in I wore two pair of socks for the first few days. The width size ran a little large--I ordered a 4E (my normal size) and probably should have gone with a 3E or 2E.

Very good shoe - These shoes fit the bill! I added a tongue pad and heel pad, and that helped with a typical problem—riding up in the back as you walk (causes blisters). Simple solution for a few dollars. The only problem I've noticed is that the shoe doesn't breathe very well, so feet get a bit damp if you wear heavy socks or use a Dr Scholl’s insert. If you avoid those two things, it's not a big problem. Really, for the money, these look to be handsome, functional, long-lived shoes.

Terrific Shoes - I ordered the Dunham Battery Park Waterproof Oxfords a few years ago and had them sent to my son who does a lot of walking. He had been wearing Nunn Bush before but I took a chance because I liked the look and description of the Dunham’s. He told me that this is the only shoe he ever had that he could put on and walk long distances immediately in comfort. The size and width is true, the look is dressy or casual, and he's very happy with them. The only problem encountered was finding replacement shoe laces in 40 length but one phone call to Zappos and the problem was remedied. The manufacturer sent the laces at no charge.

Best shoe buying experience ever! I needed a pair of dress shoes in a hurry. I am familiar with the Dunham line. I queried my size on the internet. Zappos.com popped up. The free overnight shipping caught my eye. I called and discussed the order. My Zappos rep was excellent. She explained the whole process to me and we placed the order in just minutes. The next day the shoes arrived. They fit perfectly. I wore them to a four day business seminar. I am a Zappos customer for life. With the selection of products they have, there is no reason for me to leave my home to go shopping again! I will recommend Zappos to everyone I know!

Look great new - I love the way these shoes feel when I wear them, but I dislike how easily they scuff, and I have had no luck getting all the scuffs out. Other than that they are a great shoe.

Great shoe, fit is better than most shoes I have tried on when going to nearby shoe stores. I think Zappos has a big advantage having a larger inventory to select from. I received them under 24hrs, it was only 16hrs? and Fed Ex got them to me. I was hoping my ankle wouldn’t rub on the shoe and it didn’t, thank God! I have been looking for a dress/casual shoe for such a long time. Thanks Zappos!!!

Brands I'd also recommend: I like the Sperry and Birkenstock line of shoes and sandals.

Great shoe all around. Right out of the box the shoe was wearable without hurting my feet even after a long day standing/walking. After a few days the shoe really looks great, too - fantastic comfort and support in a size that's hard to find anything in, let alone something this comfortable in this price range. Only complaint I had at first was how hard the laces were to manage, but after a few days they're great also.

Brands I'd also recommend: Dunham Highland is a fantastic hiking/casual boot by these same folks. Fantastic products.

Good comfortable shoes - Good comfortable shoes are hard to find in my size. Thank you for having these available. I wear them for performances and am on my feet for several hours at a time. These really work well for me. At the end of a concert, my feet still feel good!

Excellent work shoe - This shoe is sized well and you can easily put in support orthotics if needed. The support is excellent and cleans up nicely.
