Been buying this for 6 years. It goes a long way as you do not need to use very much. My husband is a cook and his shoes get nasty. This balsam stuff makes them look like new and I think it makes his shoes last longer too.

Wow! I just received this in the mail and I immediately put in on my shoes that I ordered two weeks ago. This product makes my shoes look out of the box brand new! I can't say enough about this product, except it comes in a sort of small package, but you don't need much to get an amazing result! And with Zappos.com it's reasonably priced with free shipping! I think this product will last me a long time, but I think I might just have to order more!

Wonder balsam, indeed! I've used it on everything from my Hobo International bag to some cheap leather ballet flats I got at a discount outlet. It works like magic! It did change the color of my leather bag a bit. Not a substantial change, but just made the cognac color a bit richer and deeper. It also revitalized and rehabbed my cheap leather ballet flats! Scuffs practically disappeared, and they look like new! I'll be buying another one of these as soon as mine runs out.

I have a pair of Doc Martens that are only a few months old, but have been through the wringer, what with having hot soup and dirty mop water/sanitizing solution spilled over them almost every day. They'd gotten grossly discolored and were starting to look nasty, so I shelled out for a tub of this basalm, and Wow. In seconds my shoes looked brand new. I honestly don't recognize them! Usually I'm wary of things with superlatives like "Wonder" in their name, but this time, it's definitely warranted.

This is wonderful stuff to keep your shoes looking like new. It gets rid of a lot of those bothersome wrinkles and creases that shoes develop over time. Great product!

Bought this product for my daughter's tall riding boot! Perfect for cleaning them, leaves them beautifully clean and does not leave black polish marks on her saddle pad her horse! Also worked well for her western boots, a lot easier to use than polish too!

Does alright on waxing up your shoes and scuffs, but if you really want to waterproof your shoes - leather or suede - this stuff is great and safe and works in one application. Also, lexol products are ph balanced and safe for leathers for cleaning and conditioning, great on horse tack also . Both products I do tack cleaning and have learned a lot on cleaning, conditioning, and treating leather and suede.

This stuff is awesome -
After reading the tons of great reviews on this stuff, I decided to give it a try. My Doc Martens 8053's are about 3½ years old and had a good amount of scratches on the toe area. As usual, I got the balsam within one day (ordered Tuesday afternoon, had the stuff Wednesday when I got home from work). I slapped some of this balsam on my shoes and they're good as new now. This stuff kinda looks like Vaseline.

This balm is the bomb -
This little container is a money saver - I keep it in my desk at work and whenever my shoes are looking dull, if rub a little balsam on it and they look like I just had them polished. No need to pay for a shoe shine with this stuff.

Pretty Amazing -
As per the review by others this balsam works pretty good on shoes, at least in my case, that are not looking all that good. It brings out a wonderful shine to the shoes and tends to hide, to some extent, the scrapes and other minor damages to the shoe.
