Where the classic 1460 style was being used by mailmen, union workers, and factory workers, it soon became popular among the masses. The 1460 continues to thrive, symbolizing individualism, originality, and taps into a individual's unique style who's willing to make that bold statement.
Dr. Martens doesn't think of itself as a "shoe" brand, but rather a way of thinking, a self-expression if you must. Popularly known as Doc Martens, they allow you to feel free to rock your grunge shorts, spike up your hair to the heavens, show off your body art, whatever floats your boat. So whether you call them Dr. Martens, Doc Martens or just Docs there are no limits to your creativity.

These are some great inserts that provide some good cushion and because of their shape, they can reduce the size of the shoe ever so slightly. So if your Docs fit just a tad big, these can help. Some caution: fold them in near half to help you get them down to the footbed, especially on taller boots. Once the heel is in place, unfold the folded half forward until it meets the toes.

Not worth it. Though they fit perfectly, these barely offer any more comfort or support than the flat bed in the shoe.

INSOLES MAKE MY DOCS FIT - Since Docs don't come in half sizes, I bought mine in a US 7 instead of 6-1/2. After a couple of wears, my feet were really sliding around inside my shoes. At that point I was feeling pretty ill about spending a fair amount of money for shoes that were too big. I was amazed to find that Doc Marten's sells insoles for their shoes. They are offered in sizes to fit their shoes and boots exactly no trimming needed. The insoles are sturdy, yet cushiony -- not the usual floppy, spongy insoles sold in drugstores. Best of all, my Docs now fit as though I'd bought my usual size 6-1/2. My only complaint is that, because the heel of the insole is a bit thick, the heel of my foot is elevated and slides out of my shoe a little when I walk. But, the strap of my mary janes prevents my foot from actually escaping. I'm very satisfied with these insoles and relieved that I can now wear my Docs comfortably.

Fit was perfect for 2 different shoes; true to size. Excellent for a standard insole to replace a worn out or damaged shoe insole. Very comfortable.

These saved my favorite shoes! Dr. Martens are practically indestructible, except for the insoles which disintegrate after a few years of wear. Other brands of insoles just didn't fit or correct the problem. These are perfect replacements for the originals, which is what I believe they were designed to be. I don't think they were intended to be an add-on insole like other available brands. I took out the old insoles, slipped these in, and my shoes feel just like they did when I bought them 5+ years ago! The availability of this product adds even more value to investing in a pair of Dr. Martens; thanks for offering it!

I purchased a pair of Dr. Martens earlier than have a deep seated sole. The shoes fit fine otherwise but - the back of my ankle was rubbing because the soles were too deep. I purchased two pair of these insoles and - put one in the dr. martens and - problem solved. They fit / size the same as the dr. martens so it was a perfect fit. Very comfortable. The reason I got these over something from the drug store (i.e. Dr. Scholls) was because the latter breakup so easy. These seem to be great and - after wearing them for hours - they don't break up. I used the other pair in a pair of Clarks I have. Very comfortable.
I'd also recommend: Dr Martens; Clarks
