Gorgeous boot, comfortable right out of the box. Bought them for travel and can wear them all day. Also bought the taller full boot in Lead color and they are equally comfortable. They are surprisingly light in weight which is a plus for packing. Thank you Donald Pliner for great fitting shoes and Zappos for carrying them.

This classy sandal deserves a second review, as I 'd like to share with those contemplating owning, and should be encouraged to go out on a limb. The quality of the leather is first class.The straps hug your ankle with a firm, but soft grip.The heel is perfect without seeming clunky. You will be wearing a unique sandal, rare with its fashion statement!

I own this shoe in suede and love it. Petra has a wonderful fit and it\'s comfortable for a full day of NYC walking. But I sent back the red version. It\'s patent leather, very shiny and it doesn\'t have the give that the suede version does. The red looks a little cheap, where the suede versions definitely look like a good shoe.

Okay, so love these shoes. They are cool and sexy and remind of shoes you'd see in Sex and the City the movie, but less expensive. The heels are high, but with the platform, make it easy to walk around. They are comfortable and fun! Donald Pliner knows how to make some good shoes. Love them! Enjoy.

Great!I have a black pair and it is so appropriate for our leisurely pace. It is very comfortable yet stylish. Saw the brown pair online and had to have it. It is good for work and weekends.

In typical Donald J. Pliner fashion, these are good-looking but on the narrow side. I normally wear 8&1/2M, but got by with 9N. Still tight, cramped but Narrow was all they had. I love the slip-on, crossover mesh elastic material which I sprayed twice with water repellent before wearing. I wore them with tights (not thinner hose) and had to be careful not to bunch up the shoe material when i pulled them on. Despite a bunion, i was able to wear the 2&3/4 heel comfortably enough.

Beautiful shoes. I bought them in the cow hide. The high platform makes the higher heel easy to walk in. They are comfortable for being such a high heel. I am usually a size 8.5 in sandals and in some brands a 9 fits better. These run slightly small but not a full size. In this shoe the 9 fit better. Expensive but they are a head turner.

Generally I am quite the fan of Donald Pliner shoes. This shoe I had to return. The fit was true to size, but the leather was extremely shiny.

Incredibly comfortable, especially the special sole which grips beautifully when you run up and down stairs. The overall style and shape and height of the heel goes great with skirts and jeans.

Love Donald Pliner's shoes. If you get a size that fits, it works for every shoe. Super comfort. Great looks, great with slacks! My favorite everyday shoe. I also have the real comfort shoes, rubber soles, no heels. Great!

This is seriously a sexy shoe! It fits my AA foot like a glove and is surprisingly comfortable for such a high heel. Well, not really surprising. Pliner is high on my list of all time faves for style, quality and comfort. You can have your Jimmy Choos and your Laboutins. They don't come in narrow anyway! This combination of edgy style and high quality. It's made from Italian leather! Plus, the size range has them all beat hands down. On this particular shoe, the back part above the heel is done in croc-embossed leather and the gray suede is sophisticated and goes with everything. Oh, Zappos. I declare my eternal loyalty to you!

This boot is absolutely exquisite. They are my first pair of Donald J Pliner shoes. The leather is so soft, and the opening fits perfectly for those with normal sized calves. The leather around the foot is a little tight, but seems to stretch a bit over time. Also, I was a little surprised at the height. I don't know why, since it states it right there on the specs. I would recommend these for going out on the town. They are not quite comfy enough for work.

They're so darn cute. I'm a pretty consistent fan of Donald Pliner casual shoes. I just wish this pair were a bit more cushy-comfy. I've yet to fully "break them in", so maybe there's hope.

I love these boots. The leather is very soft and the lug soles make the boots more comfortable to walk in. The crocodile leather up the back really make the all black boots pop. I would recommend these boots to anyone.

Very comfortable, but not wrinkle free. My husband found these shoes to be very comfortable, and they look very sharp as well. However, while trying them on, we noticed that wrinkles formed within the first few steps. We're not sure if that's to be expected. These are our first formal shoes, and we thought for this price they should not wrinkle; this is the reason for the 4 stars. I'll post an update after we've used it for a while and had a chance to compare them with others. Zappos service as always rocks!

I have a very difficult foot to fit, and have a hard time finding simple pumps that stay on my narrow foot, particularly in the heels. These shoes are perfect; they are comfortable, have a relatively stiff sole, which I need for my particular foot problems, and they are beautiful. I like them so much I ordered a pair in both the black and brown metallic colors.

I bought these boots for my wife. She loves them! And, so do I. The leather quality and finish is better than many other boots in this price range. Plus, the ankle and calf sizing is a little more fitted than some other brands and styles. This draws attention to her slender features better than some other boots. But they are still roomy enough to wear jeans inside them. I highly recommend these based on quality, fit, and style.
