Favorite heels! The leather is rich, soft and pliable and the creamy color goes well with anything I wear. Wish i had found them sooner. Their understated elegance works with formal or casual attire. What makes these fit so well is the wide toe box and the right amount of curve under the arch. My wide foot fits all the way in without feeling pinched and my arch feels adequately supported so that my feet do not tire. I can dance in them. Thanks to Zappos' VIP service, I ordered at last minute and wore them the next evening.

I have been wearing this shoe for years. Historically they have been very comfortable and have worn well--holding up to multiple re-soles. Sadly, this will be my last purchase of this treasured stand-by. The quality and fit appear to have been sacrificed--I have blisters where I never have, the size that I have always worn is now sloppy. Very disappointed.

I had hip surgery about 7 years ago and wore special shoes for my therapy and thereafter. Lately, since shifting weight to the "good" leg for so long, I began to have problems with that leg. I noticed that my foot was turning too much in the shoes for therapy, since they were not my usual narrow width, so my daughter helped me find a shoe which supported my feet and helped correct the gait and step I was taking. They are comfortable and can be worn with almost anything in my wardrobe. The important thing is that they give me support and balance.

A beautiful shoe. Very comfortable and runs true to size. Some Narrow sizes feel cramped, but Donald Pliner consistently produces shoes that you can rely on for both comfort and design.

Purchased these shoes at the last minute for a Christmas cruise. Turns out these were my "go to" shoes. Very comfortable, stylish and color (navy) prettier than shown picture. Wish the other colors were available in my size, as would definitely purchase another pair.

I loved these boots and they were even better looking "in person", but I couldn’t get my foot in the boot! If they had a zipper all of the way on the shaft and/or some elastic, that would have helped. I unfortunately had to return them.

One of the most comfortable shoes I have worn. The leather is very soft and easy to slip on the first time. I have a fairly high instep and usually worry about this style. The distressed leather gives it a little extra dressy look, even though this is definitely a casual shoe. Wonderful for travel as it is very lightweight. DP needs to make more lower heeled shoes like this.

I love the style of the boot. The heel height is just right for jeans, and the heel plate adds a nice touch. I only wish the black calf had been available when I ordered. The brown is a very nice boot, but the material is kind of suede like and doesn't provide quite as much flexibility (in the look) as a smooth leather boot would.

I love these shoes. They\'re sexy and very comfortable for a high heel. They\'re not heavy or clunky and because the bottom is rubber, you don\'t slip and slide when walking. I\'m a size 4 in sandals and they fit perfectly. Ladies get a pedicure and enjoy wearing these shoes with skinny jeans or anything that shows off your sexy side.

I love Donald Pliner but hate this shoe. The top of the shoe is too high and the leather rubs like crazy. The strap is too short and the rough trim chafed the top of my foot.

Bought two pairs. Love them! I bought both colors in these boots, the black and the distressed brown. Both are fabulous. I love Pliner's couture line made in Italy. They are very well made, worth the money, even when not on sale. The distressed brown boots have a bit of a "cowboy" look, and the black ones have a more traditional "chic" look. If you like the way they look on-line, you will love them in person.

I bought these shoes last month and they are the most comfortable shoes I've purchased in a while. I even ordered them in the brown a few weeks later. I have received many compliments on them. They are snug at first but they stretch to fit. They work very well with jeans and other pants I have. They are pricey, but worth every penny. Thank you Zappos for your excellent service, as always!

Can't figure out why I'm the only to say that these are really slim. I have about 10 pairs of Donald Pliner shoes and the width of these is not in line with all others; it is way too narrow (see photo of shoe bottom). Normally wear a 12M and these are dinner shoes only, i.e. would not like to spend a whole evening on my feet. Great looking though and very sturdy feeling.

Wow! This is the best sandals that I ever had! These are very sexy, super comfortable, and they look so good on skinny jeans or pants! This is my second pair from Donald J Pliner. Gada sandals are a little expensive, but when you wear them there is no price that can beet the look. Donald J Pliner is the best.

These are great dress sandals: very well constructed, with gorgeous, supple leather in a beautiful, subtle, metallic finish. Reasonably comfortable, too; I'm unused to wearing heels and wore them to a party where I was on my feet all evening, and although my feet ached a little afterward, it was nothing compared to the torment of many dress shoes! I thought long and hard before buying shoes this expensive, but in the end, they were worth every penny.

I had my eyes on these last year but couldn't justify the price. As usual Zappos got them to me in a day and they are really cute. I usually wear a 10.5 and these are an 11 so I think they must run a bit small. Thankfully they fit. I ordered them to wear with a black dress.

I am incredibly disappointed by these shoes. I absolutely adore wedge heels and, at first, I loved these shoes. Great fit, great look, expensive but I'm willing spend more for quality. However, after two months, the sole of the shoe is cracking around the logo. Because I've worn them several times I cannot return them. These shoes are way too expensive to be falling apart after two months. I used to love the Donald J Pliner brand, but I'll never purchase them again.
