Beautiful shoes. The black is so deep that the distinction between the smooth toe and the suede body of the shoe is not as apparent unless in bright light.

First of all, it looked like an elf shoe on me because it fit so much larger. The fit seemed a size bigger. I wear a 5 so I couldn't order anything smaller.

Once again Donald Pliner has made a great boot. Comfortable from day one! Stylist whether wearing a long black skirt walking along the river front in San Antonio or hanging out at my favorite jazz bar dressed in blue jeans and a soft cashmere sweater. These boots are a pleasure to wear and great to be seen.

It\'s hard to find navy blue shoes, so I was very pleased to find this pair. I usually wear 7 but 7.5 fit perfectly. However, the best part about this shoes is that even with 4 inches heel, 1 inch platform makes walking 3-4 hours possible. Also the rubber bottom sole and the great craftsmanship make this shoes very stable and non-slippery, unlike some other company\'s wobbly high heels. Worth every penny.

I have worn this shoe a couple of times and I love them! Totally chic style, can be dressed up or down. The small platform makes them comfortable, but with a stylish high heel. A little snug to start, but now quite comfortable for a strappy heel. I am bummed that I would be able to wear them more until the weather warms up.

Nothing beats Zappos for delivery speed and accuracy of order. Purchased in red patent & they are gorgeous on. Snug fitting but length is true to size. Looks great with jeans or pants of any style. Little heel & typical, outstanding Pliner style makes this a fabulous shoe.

I got these shoes in distressed blue to wear with my jeans. I took awhile to buy them because the price was higher than I usually pay, but Pliner is a very good name and the shoe was original. So I splurged and bought them! I love them; they look so good peaking out from beneath my jeans. Nice looking shoe and the fit is accurate and comfy. Good height on the heel, just what I needed. Glad I bought them.

Pliners are about all that I buy now. I probably would have bought 1/2 size larger in this shoe. My feet slide down in the shoe box area and my big toe pushes the limit for length. They feel great, but are so sexy and thin, offers very little support. They look tremendous on my feet, however. I get many compliments.

I love these boots. The suede is a beautiful shade of chocolate and they have touches of snake-emossed leather on the heel and up the back. They are stylish yet very comfortable. I find myself looking for clothes that will go with these boots!

I actually have these in two colors and love the convenience of the slide in foot while having a great sense of style. They\'re comfortable and less clunky than most styles that are similar.

This is a great shoe. It is beautiful and comfortable. It goes with suits and pants. I wore it from 8 am - 8 pm walking on hard floors and still felt great. I did order 1/2 size larger.

I have many shoes by Donald Pliner, so I was very surprised to find that this shoe was very narrow fitting. It was cute and I loved the wedge, but way more narrow than I've experienced before.

Stunning, gorgeous--can\'t wear them. So stiff and unforgiving--actually painfully so. They might work for others, and with Zappo\'s generous return policy I would try them--but I have to sadly return them. REALLY wanted these.

I ordered this shoe very early Sunday morning and it was at my doorstep Monday afternoon. I was very interested in trying it on, but really thought I'd end up sending it back. No way! This shoe is exquisite! The elastic straps are just perfect for providing a snug, but comfy fit. The colors are so rich and classy. Even the heel is not too high because the arch is the perfect curve for my feet. Thank you. Thank you also for the discount off the price, too! Gotta love Zappos!

This boot is not only comfortable, but true to size. The finish on the navy faux lizard is beautiful, different and very fashionable. They\'re easy to wear with any jeans and almost all pant colors.

These shoes are beautiful, but not comfy enough for me. They have the perfect heel height for pants, beautiful soft leather, a chic look; but leather sole, I'm just not doing that anymore. I tried gel insoles which improved them a bit, but not enough. I really want a shoe/boot that is super comfortable and doesn't bother me after quite a few hours. I ended up with Merrell Spire Stretch, which aren't quite so sleek, but same heel height and so comfortable. They look a lot like these, too. I have tons of Donald Pliner shoes, especially sandals. Wish good looking shoes would be more comfortable.

Like most Donald Pliner sandals, these are extremely comfortable. The color is gorgeous and I\'ve received many compliments. However, several times my foot has slipped off my car brake pedal while wearing them. In the future, I won\'t drive with them on.

Great dressy sandal. Feels true to size (and my feet are not narrow). Thong feels great and helps keep foot in place. The strap across the toes is tight at first, but is leather and softens out after a few hours. In short, love these shoes. I have bad knees and cannot wear high heels, with the exception of Pliner shoes. I hope Zappos stocks more of Pliner shoes (in all styles), especially in the popular sizes (6 throgh 8.5) as they sell out too quickly.

Comfort with class! Perfect with light or dark-colored jeans! These are a "must have". Pliner's western boots are an essential for the "American Western" part of each woman's wardrobe. I wear them all day and everywhere without problems, either when dressing up or dressing down. Pliner boots take me everywhere. Men take notice of these boots; other women adore them. I add power soles to my Pliner boots in order to preserve the beautiful leather soles. With Power Soles the boots last for years and take any type weather conditions or terrain.
