Overall:

I heart these boots. I'm not a big heel-wearer, but the height on these is perfect, tall enough to be elegant but short enough to walk around in all day. I also do not have wide calves, so the shaft is kind of loose, but I can get them on/off easily and tuck jeans in with no problem, and I like the slouchy style. The leather is really soft and the slightly contrasting stitching on the black leather looks great. I do think I will need to get a rubber sole put on over the current leather one if I want to keep wearing them during the east coast winter (and the boots themselves run a bit small, so keep that in mind if you need to wear warm socks with them!).

Love these boots! The leather is so soft and creamy! I love the color (desert) because it's really versatile; I've worn them with both black and brown. I love how the soft leather scrunches down. As another review said, the wide shaft is really flattering on my legs. I have pretty skinny calves (not bone-skinny but definitely not large) and I think the width of the leg is perfect with skinny jeans. I haven't tried them with leggings yet, but if I had to guess, they'll look fabulous with them, too! By far my favorite boot I've bought this season. Tres chic!

Awesome boots. Really comfortable. The calf is really wide; if you have thin calves, they won't work. First I bought the sandy color, love, but my really dark blue jeans rubbed off on them. I know I'll destroy them within a few wears, so I ordered the black, too. They will hold up a lot better. Worth the money

I really wanted to love these boots because I really need some tall black boots, but they are just a little too slouchy for me so alas, they are going back. They fit very nicely in the toe are and heel (I have a consistent problem with heel slippage but not with these). Not a lot of arch support and the inside right above the back of heel area behind the tends to slide down down around a bit when putting them on, which concerns me over the long haul. I would be afraid it would come even looser every time I put them on. But they are a nice looking boot, not "piratey". One boot had a small scuff already like someone else had tried them on which is no big deal, but if they scuff that easily, then that is a turn off also.

What a bummer. I have been looking for the right taupe boot for two years. The color, material, heel, and styling on this one were just what I was looking for. But the sadness set in the minute I opened the box. First, the sole was very thin for a boot in this price range. Second, the boots were a 1/2 size shorter than expected. Width was fine, but my toes bumped up painfully against front. Third, I am so sick of fake stacked soles. They look cheap. Finally (and this may be due to lame sole), there was almost no support. I have heels much higher than this that are far more comfortable. Pros: Leather on shaft seemed nice quality. And so the hunt begins. Again. Blah.

Ordered 1/2 size larger than normal shoe size and they fit great. Comfortable and look great. Was worried about metal fringe, but it is very attractive and is not irritating.

These boots were made for walkin'! With soft, supple leather and a sensible heel, they are great looking and super comfy. I usually have trouble wearing heels, but these were so cute I just had to give them a try. I bought them for a Holiday trip to LA and wore them all day while shopping in Beverly Hills. I wore them again on New Years Eve, got several compliments on them, and danced the night away!

I love these shoes. So I got the size 7 but I'm normally a size 6 1/2; they were too big. My heel kept slipping out. A week later I saw that a 6 1/2 was available and Zappos was kind enough to let me exchange them out. The 6 1/2 fit perfectly. They are true to size. I also received them the next day. They are high, but once broken in are comfy. This is the 2nd pair of the Dolce Vita Madison I have; I got the Nappa Leather brown last November and love those. However, that color isn't available anymore. I recommend these shoes to anyone who wants a chic high style comparable to most couture brands. Believe me, I have all the expensive brands and my Black Patent Leather Dolce Vitas are a compliment to my closet, as they are just as beautiful as my high priced heels. These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes because they are classic and will be in style for a long time to come.

I absolutely love these boots. They look great with everything. I\'m a 7 and they fit perfectly. I didn\'t experience any problems with the shaft staying up either and I have chicken legs.

Love. I've been looking for the perfect over the knee boot and finally found them! Simple & a little bold. Plus (major bonus) Zappos shipped them 2 day, much earlier than anticipated. Thank you! Note: I feel they are a tad smaller than true to size, but not a full half size.

I ordered these boots Saturday afternoon and got them on Monday! The shipping was very fast. The boots are very unique and the detailing is superb. The zipper on the boot moves up; it's hard to tell in the picture. The leather is very soft and the heel is nice and thick so they are comfy enough to walk in all night. The boots look great with skirts and pants! I love them and get lots of attention in them.

Hot! I got these in the grey and they are gorgeous, but a bit heavy. The platform makes them very comfortable, but after wearing them for a while my feet started falling asleep because of the heaviness of the shoe. I would recommend them, and recommend getting them in the true size or half size up, but not for lots of walking or dancing...maybe to dinner until you get used to them.

These are soft, comfortable, and required no break-in period; the leather is supple and excellent quality. The double ankle straps do not pull (as some have done, at least in my case) and have enough adjustment options to allow for an individualized fit. Plus, they get compliments from strangers and friends, with everyone wanting to know who made them and where I found them.

I just brought size 7 in grey (label reads brown) from Martin & Osa today on sale. The price was great and they fit great. Only downfall is my calf must be too small because even with jeans I have too much room. I'm still going to keep them, just trying to figure out a way to wear them so they won't look too loose.

I had been looking for a pair of over-the-knee boots for some time, and I finally decided on these Dolce Vita Eve boots. I had high hopes for these boots and when they came in the mail, I was not disappointed. They are comfortable and fit perfectly. I normally take an 8 or an 8.5 shoe, and I ordered these in an 8.5. The cuff can also be folded over, which looks quite nice and is good if you want to ease your way into the over-the-knee look. Zappos was an excellent company and the boots have exceeded my expectations. I ordered them on Friday night, and by Monday they had already arrived! I was very happy with the boots and happy with Zappos!

Perfect boots! I got these in the desert color and they are absolutely beautiful. I also find them to be really comfortable, mainly because the leather is really soft and keeps getting softer the more I wear them. I love when boots are made of very soft leather, but people who prefer stiffer leather that doesn't slouch may want to try something else.

These boots are the best leather over-the-knee boots I've seen, and are cheaper than most, too. I am 5'11'' with skinny calves and size 9.5 - 10 feet, and these boots fit well and look good. I got the size 10 and they fit perfectly. They are bigger than I need in the calf area, but not so much as to look silly. They don't quite reach over my knees, more like at my knee. But they still look taller than the average boot and the desert color is super classy. They slouch a bit (in a good way) and the back elastic is very comfortable (not a problem when sitting or bending at the knee). They do have very slippery soles, so I will be adjusting that somehow. Overall a great purchase!

These boots are an exceptional value for the price. The leather is so soft and supple and makes them appear to be far more expensive then the actual price. Unfortunately I have muscular calves and bought these boots to wear over skinny jeans, but the fit was a bit too snug so I opted to exchange them for the Dolce Vita Wendall boots and those worked out nicely!

Really love these boots. They are a little looser and scrunchier than how they appear on the picture. Since the boot is so loose, it's easy to tuck your jeans and it actually looks very flattering (makes your legs looks skinny!). Towards the bottom buckle, the shaft gets a little scrunched. If you are looking for a more structured boot, this isn't right for you. I like the fact that there is a 1 inch heel; it gives me a little extra lift without feeling like I am trying too hard or towering over people. The boots are not too "Cowboy", but are overall pretty casual/comfy looking. I'm very happy with them!

As far as I'm concerned, these boots are The Ones. They are simple, comfy, sexy, and made of soft nappa leather. They hit at a very flattering spot on my legs (I am 5'9"), and when OTK boots are no longer super popular, they will be great cuffed. Amazing! I would recommend getting a rubber half-sole put on at the shoe repair, however, since they can be a little slippery. Fit true to size and stay up fine on my average-sized calves.

Hmmm, they're okay. While they shaft height and style are cool, my skinny calves were just swimming in these. They didn't look so big in the picture. Guess I should have taken into account the ever-helpful calf circumference measurement. Whoops. But yeah, my legs were swimming in them, and as a result they slouched a few hours after I started wearing them. Going to take them to a repair shop to see what I can do, but I was kind of surprised the leather wasn't thicker and sturdier. I thought that boots of this price would hold their shape better. I don't think they're quite worth the money, you could definitely find boots of similar quality and comfort for a hundred bucks cheaper.

I'm a big fan of Dolce Vita (and by big I mean 13 pairs) so it's no surprise to me that I absolutely love this boot! I originally wanted to order the marrone color from endless.com, but i happened to be in Dillard's (department store) and I spotted the black pair on display from the other side of the store; they are just that stunning! And for the price, I would have been a fool to leave them there! I bought my usual size 6 and everything about them fits great. The platform does wonders to compensate for the height of the heel, although it's still pretty high so if you're not a 4"+ kind of girl you probably shouldn't bother. I wore them to a party and they were actually bearable for the entire night. The only thing nearly unbearable was how many times I got asked where I got them from. So be prepared for major oohs, ahhs, stares and questions. They are indeed a show stopper! Happy shopping!

I am typically a size 7 and have trouble finding boots large enough to fit my calf, let along squeeze a skinny jean or legging into them. When I put these boots on I nearly wept. They fit perfectly! I went up 1/2 a size for a little more room in the toes and to be able to get them on and off easier. The leather is a great quality, super soft and supple. And because they are of such good quality overall I can wear them for hours without any pain. A great find!!

I ordered the shoes for an upcoming wedding. Didn't like the toe cleavage on these, and they were not very comfortable. I decided on another style I ordered at the same time from Zappos. Can't praise you enough for the wonderful customer service! You are my "go-to" shoe people!
