These are great boots! The strap can be removed, which I immediately did and I think they look better without it. The fit is perfect and they are surprisingly comfortable.

Other reviewers are correct about the hardness of the sole of the boot. I didn't think it would bother me but I wore the boots to a conference that entailed a lot of walking and by the end of the day, my soles were bruised! I haven't worn them since. I am going to take the boot to my local cobbler and see if he can do anything to fix it. Also, the boots are a little too country for me. I took off the buckle and like them better that way.

Great buy. I am super-picky about non-leather boots because I think they tend to look cheap, but these are great. Just the right height and heel height and quite comfortable too.

I didn't understand the other comments when they said it felt hard, but the bottoms of these shoes are hard. Feels like you're banging your feet on wood. Awkwardly tight fit so I'm returning.

These boots looked even cuter in person than online! Unfortunately as soon as I tried them on I noticed two major issues. The first is comfort. The heel area is really hard and uncomfortable. Adding an insert seems like it would cause even more problems. The second is the buckle strap. It's not attached to anything and is actually better left off. I was hoping these would work but sadly will be returning.

This boot is soo beautiful. I love it! Right now it is the favorite shoe I have. It is not very comfortable but I put in it one of those soft insoles so I was able to even go out dancing with it.
