I've been ordering the DC shoes for my grandson for quite awhile. As his feet grow, I order him another pair. The shoes are great and they hold up real well and they look nice as well. They always fit him perfectly and he says that they are real comfortable.

I bought these for my boyfriend, first time ordering something from this site. The shoes are great, he loves them. He usually wears a size 15, but these in a 14 fit him perfectly. I would recommend this shoe and this site to anyone.

The tongue on the DC Journal shoes are not as thick as other DC shoes I have purchased in the past (I like that part about the shoes, but still don’t mind the thicker ones, too), but a very comfortable pair of shoes that look great, too.

Very cool motorcycle jacket style. It even has two secret inner pockets, which are easy to miss. It has just enough pockets for cell phone, keys, money, and maybe something else. I bought it in black. It's stretchy and very fitted, which is good for a fashion look but not as ideal for running and hiking. The sleeves are long and skinny, and they probably don't fit over some types of shirt sleeves. I bought a size small, which I'll keep for the fashion look, but I might also buy a size medium for sports. I haven't laundered it yet, so I don't know how it holds up.

Could Be Better - I ordered this shoe here and they did not fit, I have the same type of shoe half a size SMALLER and these shoes were too small for me...Luckily I returned them. Order a size larger.

They feel great!! They look great!! I chose the black/pink/plaid pair. It’s just one thing that all the new DC's have two hole on the inside part of the shoe, I guess for ventilation. But this does make me nervous in regards to the rain. But I have rain boots for that.

I purchased the orange one - and it's 'ok' - the color doesn't look great on me (fair eyed blonde). The fit is very very casual so I've been wearing it as a mock cover up to the lake. I wouldn't say that it's the most flattering outfit I have by a long stretch.

These shoes are great for everyday wear. Comfortable as hell. They hold up for a long time as well, even when worn every day. I imagine they would be good for skating, but I don't skate so I can't say.

Excellent shoes. They fit very comfortably. Snug fit, good grip. They are easy to clean. A definite must have and Zappos is awesome. They have great shipping. My shoes got here very fast. This is my second time using Zappos and I am very pleased.

My 16 year old son loves these shoes! Not only were they one of the very few that came in 16 but they looked "cool" too! (And were delivered SUPER FAST!!) They don't scuff as easily as he thought they would either. One downside is that if you are active, as he is, with skating or playing basketball the soles wear out fairly quickly. His last pair lasted only 5 months. Gotta be a straight walker if you want the soles to last, they aren't very sturdy.

My family and I own and operate a floor covering business. We mainly install hardwoods. The guys are on their knees all day which wears on the toes of their work shoes. DC shoes can take the beating. They last five times longer than other shoes we have tried. The comfort and great style are an added bonus. Thanks for making a great long-lasting product!!!

These are some of the most comfortable skate shoes I have worn. I am not a skater but like the style. The shoes are good and snug (but still true to size) when new and offer the support I was looking for around my feet. Soles are good and offer plenty of traction. I would have preferred a little more support in the arch but that would not keep me from buying another pair of these shoes. I have been wearing them for a month and they still offer plenty of support around the foot, which is the main attribute I was searching for. Zappos is the best place to shop for shoes. The customer service, speed of delivery, and ease of exchange/return is worth every penny. Keep up the great work!

I've bought many styles of DC shoes, but have developed a love for the DC Court shoes. Because these shoes looked very similar, but had a better color/design selection, I bought a black pair of these along with white Courts. The characters are a bit less padded, and you definitely notice a difference when first wearing them. They wear in and feel fine after a while, but definitely not as comfortable as the courts. I do however still love the look and still wear them. I would recommend them to people not looking for an overly padded skate shoe and people who are tired of the Court shoe designs, but not the style.

These shoes are really comfortable. Another great shoe from DC. They may fit a little tight in the toe area but they will loosen up. I went with the Battleship (Blue/Green) shoes.

I’ve had the DC Command for at least 6 months now. Having had time to break them in here's what I’ve found. With very little effort the air sole on the left shoe broke open along the seam of the air bubble.This caused the shoe to force my left foot to walk more on the outside of the heel. Not comfortable. In other words, no air means no stability in the shoe. If it pops, you’re pretty much better off throwing these out. Your feet will start to hurt with the unnatural way it makes you walk. Next is the inside cushion. There is NONE! It’s pretty flat and hard. I had to use an insert which only then did the shoe get real comfortable. That is before the bubble popped. The under side of the shoe claims to be made of 3 different types of rubber, some areas are softer, some areas more durable to prevent wear. All in all, it's a soft rubber and it wears down fast. The shoe in general is pretty sturdy.You never really get a tight grip on the entire foot out of this shoe. And to show its unfortunate weakness, cuz I bought this shoe with high hopes and actually still love putting them on, I bought black ones and the things look brand new still. I'm one of those who buys shoes to last as long as possible. So from someone who doesn't beat up on his shoes, these things took themselves out of the game. Sad. You will probably enjoy them at first, but don't expect them to be a main stay. But as the way fashion and shoes go, you may not care. For those who pay this much for a shoe and expect it to go the distance...I hate to say, keep looking. Disappointing.

Okay comfort. For skating, don’t even bother. NO GRIP. Absorbs impact from doing tricks off ledges or stair sets or gaps. A little too chunky. The style looks very nice, but don’t look for this shoe if you skate a lot, trust me on this.

Very comfy but after wearing them twice the design on the flipflop started coming off. It now looks hideous and even my girl noticed it. Haven't worn them out of the house since, I guess you get what you pay for. I have another pair of D.C. flip flops and they seem to hold up much better.

I LOVE these shoes!!! They are incredibly comfortable and not too bulky like other skater shoes can be. The ventilation is wonderful too. I played 9 holes of golf in these and my feet stayed nice and cool all day =) great shoes!!! Plus my son loves the bright colors!
