- Your heel should be either even with or slightly forward of the back of the clog.
- Toes should not hit the front of the clog.
- Dansko's most traditional open-back style with lightly padded instep collar.
- High quality leather upper follows the natural contours of the foot.
- Oiled Leather is a heavily oiled, matte-finish leather with optimal pliability and moisture resistance. Oiled Nubuck has the same closely napped, silky feel as Nubuck, but with noticeably more oil tanned into the leather. Naturally occurring blemishes are slightly more visible in these tannages and suggest a more rugged appearance. Latigo leather has a smooth, tight grain and semi-gloss to transparent finish.
- Instep collar is generously padded.
- Roomy Thermoplastic toe box provides durable reinforcement and toe protection while allowing toes to move comfortably.
- Vegetable tanned leather sock lining allows the shoe to mold to the natural shape of the foot.
- Antimicrobial Poliyou® foam absorbs and evaporates perspiration for a healthy foot environment.
- Protective Polyethylene heel counter allows the heel to move up and down when walking. Also provides lateral stability and acts as a natural shoe horn.
- PVC inner frame provides stability and reduces torque and pronation.
- Polyurethane outsole provides shock absorption and flexibility, withstands surfaces of extreme heat and cold, and protects feet, legs and back during long hours of standing or walking.
- Rocker bottom propels the foot forward when walking.

Super Comfort - I'm on my feet all day chasing second graders, these clogs have been wonderful. The comfort and style are just what I have been looking for in a slip-on for months. Sonja - Black Box - I love these shoes. They hug my feet but are not too tight. I can wear them all day and my feet feel great. The finish is easy to clean.

Comfort Heaven - I have owned several pairs of clogs, but these were by far the most comfortable I have ever owned. The toe box is so roomy you can spread your toes out as much as you want, and standing in them is such a pleasure. The really accomodate the dimensions of your foot well.

Danskos are wonderful! I have worn the Dansko closed back clogs for several years now, and I am thrilled to have the backless model for warmer weather. The original Dansko footbed is incomparable when it comes to being on your feet for much of the day. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who wants a comfortable, versatile shoe!

The best in clogs - These clogs are comfortable from the start. A traditional style. Perfect for someone on their feet all day. I love them. This is my second pair of Dansko. My first pair had to be retired because the calf hair rubbed off the toe. The rest of the clog is in great shape after three years.

Great clog for nurses - I wore my new Sonja clogs to work for a 12 hour shift and the ER and loved them. I did find that I needed to go up one size for a good fit. The instep is taking some getting used to, but otherwise they were very comfortable. They don't slide off and hug the foot very well. I also noted that my back did not hurt at the end of my shift like it usually does, which is a huge plus!

Sonja Black Box Clog - Beautiful shoe -- the Black Box was not available at our local shop where I tried on clogs for a fit. The 37M seemed perfect, so I ordered the Black Box in that size. When they arrived, they felt okay, but after wearing them the first day, they seem to be a bit shorter and narrower than I expected. I keep hoping they will stretch out a little.

Comfort Clogs - I needed a pair of comfortable white shoes. I work a trade shoe and stand appx. 12 hours a day for about 10 days. I usually wear sneakers. While shopping for a new pair, I came across these clogs in a shoe store. Being a size 5 they weren't able to fit me. A freind told me about Zappos.com. I had a great experience. The clogs arrived in a few days, fit great and were very comfortable.

I like the Dansko Sonja so well that I also bought the Dansko Professional, which is the same shoe except it has a closed back. It is good looking, very comfortable, and the shoes are of very best quality. I ordered the same size as I always wear and it fit great, but I did feel it ran a little wider than marked. I am very happy with both shoes, and Zappos service can't be beat. "Can't go wrong!"

Re: My Aching, Aging Feet - I am a 50+ Blue Collar Worker (female) who has been working for over 30 years. In my youth, I was a dancer. Over the years, I managed to tear up my ankles and knees, and crack several small bones in my feet. I now have osteoarthritis in my feet, knees, and hips. I wear Dankso clogs most of the time -- all the time off the job and whenever I'm not in the field while on the job. I own 6 pairs of Dansko clogs and two pairs of Dansko sandals.

Great shoe - I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. They are very helpful to those who suffer from heel spurs or other feet problems. My only complaint is that the sizing is not always reliable. There is too large a range for each size.

Dansko sonja blueberry - I am an ultrasound technologist and often work 12 hr as well as double shifts when I am on call and these clogs are just heaven for the feet. I would wear them to sleep if I could! I normally wear a size 7 and I did have to return them for a size up *8 or 38, Zappos is beyond reproach as far as customer service.

unglued - The shoes felt 1/2 size smaller. The inside liner came unglued and bunched up making them extremely uncomfortable and wearable ...disappointed in the quality.

Great Shoe! I own this shoe in other colors and just had to add the white for summer wear. It is oh-so-comfortable, but best of all, lends wonderful support to my knees which have arthritis. Dansko’s are the best shoes for that. And Zappos it super great in getting shoes to me FAST!

Walking on sunshine!! These shoes are so comfortable. Feels like heaven! I am a nurse asst. and on my feet all day. I was wearing a different brand and my cousin who is a nurse told me about Dansko and said it was well worth the money. Dansko Sonja - I am a nurse working 12 hour shifts. The Sonja is an extremely comfortable shoe. Wearing other shoes I have ended my shift with sore feet and an aching back. I have a high arch and the Sonja gives my feet the support I need. I have been wearing Dansko shoes at work for the past 10 years and highly recommend them.

Dansko Clog - Zappos shipping was incredible! I ordered it in the evening and still received it the next day! The shoes are very comfortable and look very professional. Well worth the money! I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9.
