I could easily say this is what I was looking for. A perfect winter jacket. I have used this jacket here in NY, no need to worry at all. It keeps you protected against wind, snow and cold. It's pricey but believe me it's worth it. And yes it's different from what all others are wearing. If you order, keep in mind to order a size large. Thinking to order 1 for my wife too. Fabulous sweater. More streamlined fit and a little lighter weight than many of this type. It gets a definite 10 from my 1/2 Norwegian husband!

I bought this for my husband and he absolutely LOVES it! The quality is worth the price! Although the material is not itchy... it has a nice lining on the inside to insure it's not uncomfortable. It's warm enough to wear without a jacket for sure!

This is a great sweater. My husband loves it. We spend a lot of time at outdoor hockey rinks and this sweater is so warm you can wear it without a jacket (if it's not too cold outside!). The fit is great. He is 6'2" and normally wears an XL and the XL fit perfectly. I am going to get him another one in blue.

I bought these sweaters for my 21 year old son and my husband for Christmas. They both loved them. My son just went skiing and said the sweater is fabulous. He stayed nice and warm and the sweater looked great.

I ordered this sweater in a size L for my husband. I also ordered the Dale of Norway 125 Anniversary sweater in the same size as well. Between the two sweaters, the Dale of Norway Blyfjell sweater is noticeably lighter in weight, and will have to be exchanged for an XL size. The colors/pattern on sweater are just beautiful, and the customer service at Zappos continues to be first-rate.

This is one serious sweater! Stylish, yet timeless. Ruggedly refined. Bold, yet understated. It is absolutely one of the most kick-ass sweaters I've ever seen. This is a man's sweater. Bought this for a gift. This is a beautiful, lightweight sweater. Tends to run small, as has been my experience for all my Dale of Norway purchases. Bought a large for my friend who is typically a medium with other manufacturers, and it fit well.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas because he has been wanting one forever. He absolutely loved it! Zappos provided fantastic customer service. I had to buy two sizes and they were great about returning the one that did not fit, as always. They also provided fast and reliable shipping!

Got this jacket and it is great, looks great, very warm, I do have to agree with the other buyer, the size does run a little small, based on that recommendation I ordered a large when I usually wear a medium and it fits just like a medium. Keep that in mind, great buy.

As a ski instructor, I basically live outside in the winter, and own 5 Dale products including this sweater and their merino base layer. Out of all the outer layers I own and use (Patagonia, North Face, Avalanche), This sweater is far and away the best thing for cold, windy days. Even when its dumping snow, I will stay drier in this than any of the waterproof synthetic products offered by other leading brands. The powder skirt holds firmly in a wipe out, and being part of the windliner, it serves very well at keeping the icy wind from getting in through the bottom while skiing-a drawback of many other jackets. Although a small fortune compared to your average sweater, Dales aren't your average sweater. This is one your heirs will fight over.

Bought the 'size 6 little kids' for my 5-year-old. He complained that the neck was too stiff and poked him. He isn't very keen on high collars in any case, and the collar here might be exaggerated because the main sweater is so small. However, if he won't wear it, back it goes.

This jacket rocks. I just wore it for the whole day in a cold, rainy day. I was quite warm. It is also waterproof if you just shake off the rain drops. I would buy this again and certainly from Zappos.

Love this jacket. So thick yet so warm. Bought this for my trip to Alaska and it was amazing.

This is a fabulous sweater. Soft and warm with great construction. Will work with a business skirt or jeans. Dale makes a terrific product. I am so happy Zappos is carrying them.

My son bought me this sweater for my birthday. I love it. It looks like a sweater but actually functions a ski jacket. Looks super cool on the slopes.

It's so authentically Nordic it makes me want to eat pickled herring and drink schnapps. Love it!

These are great for wearing underneath other stuff! I was excited to get some wool leggings, but these are really see-through. They also bunch up in weird places, so they're not too flattering. They're really comfortable and warm, though. For under ski gear they're perfect, but don't buy these if you're just looking for a warm pair of cute leggings!

These are great...for skiing! I wouldn't put them in the leggings category but rather the "long john" category! Sure, they're warm, but they're itchy wool kind of warm - a little too warm. Good quality though!
