Compression pants are magic. Once past the humbling moment of stuffing yourself into tiny pants, they become the most supportive and light thing you will ever wear. Literally, my legs tingle when I wear them, and I've already dropped a minute/mile from my 10K time. The Pro Tights were my first foray - I bought every CW-X model from Zappos (thank you free returns) and found the Pros to be the best for me. Unlike the other models, they have a cross both at the knee and behind the hamstrings, which provides amazing support on hills. I also liked the stiffer fabric which made them feel less prone to snagging. Buying even one pair was a big investment, but I'm so glad I did!
I'd also recommend: Mizuno

Fantastic! Suffered with knee issues for years. Two weeks wearing these knee issues gone. I always run in them now.

I have mixed feelings about these tights. On the one hand, you should know that they are very lightweight and breathable - great for summers, but I bought them for autumn/early winter in Minnesota and they are too breathable below 30 degrees. I already have heavy, winter weight tights, but I thought these would work for that "in-between time." I also don't know that I like the compression part. I have suffered knee pain and hip pain off and on for the past two years of running, so I thought these would offer the support I need to avoid further strain. But the compression on the waist and hip actually aggravates my hip flexor. Also, I ran a half marathon in these a few weeks ago and experienced a feeling of blood pooling in my feet (?!) - as if they were restricting blood flow rather than improving it. All in all, they probably are a good product for some people but I'm not sure that compression tights are really right for my needs. I'll probably pull them out again in the spring time after my hip heals to see if they are better in warmer weather.

These tights are wonderful! I haven't used them to run yet, but they have been awesome for mountain biking. I did 16 miles today, and my legs feel great!! Love the brand, will definitely buy more!

CW-X makes the best compression tights - hands down! Others I have tried do not compare and it eliminates the need for CEPs socks if you wear the full tight. Yes, they are challenging to squeeze into, but honestly only takes less than 30 seconds to achieve success. I run 1/2 & full marathons and love wearing the full tight for my muscles. I went with the Pro Tight this time (I have shorts & ventilator styles) because my lower back gets sore in my last mile or two on my long runs, this tight has seriously helped those muscles with the additional support in that area. Highly recommend these for the serious runner!
