Overall:

Beautiful shoes, the sizing is pretty accurate, and they\'re pretty comfortable. The craftsmanship is a joy to look at up close, and the design turns heads wherever you happen to go. They\'re grossly expensive, but I had to do it, just this one time... even though I felt guilty about spending this much on shoes. I\'m very happy with them because they really are a joy to look at-- like works of art for your feet. If I built my own shoes, they\'d look something like this.

I loved these shoes, super comfortable for the height except for one thing. The toe area was a little short and I don't have long toes. I had to send them back. I did not buy the next size up because those would have been too big; the shoe fit everywhere but the toe area.

Really great shoe - If you like things a little edgy but still practical, this is a great shoe. As with all Costume National shoes, it is beautifully made, very comfortable, and because the heel is sturdy, it is easy to walk in. I love the asymmetry of the opening and the red toe and red patch on the heel add a great understated touch of color...

Overall:

I don't normally wear heels this high, but for a high shoe, these are pretty walkable. I wouldn't shop in them, but they're great for going out. Runs true to size. Extremely high quality construction, with what seems to be a lacquered wood platform. Curved toe bed keeps your foot from slipping forward and allows a more natural stride.

Cute but doesn't fit great - Love the look of these shoes but WOW does the toe pinch. I haven't decided if I will keep them or not yet. The heel height is perfect but I wouldn't want to have to walk far in them with the narrow toe.

Best shoes ever!These are the perfect shoes for me. The heel is just high enough to be sexy, but low enough to walk in. They fit very well and the colors are so neutral I feel I could wear them with anything.

Costume National Sizing - I've previously purchased a pair of Costume National gladiator sandals listed as US size 9(42) which were true to size. However, this pair of oxfords were listed as US 9.5 (42.5) and fit like a size US 10-10.5-much too large for me. I normally wear a size US 9.5 in dress shoes, so instead I ordered the US size 8.5(41.5) which fit me perfectly. The sizing discrepancy may be a fluke or just a peculiarity of Costume National dress shoes. Their shoes are well designed and I highly recommend them.

TOO TIGHT!!I was so disappointed in this shoe. The style was so nice. The comfort however, was absolutely terrible. It was too tight everywhere, from the toe to the ankle. No amount of stretching would have helped me. Oh well, maybe it would be OK for someone with a really narrow foot.

Costume National Tall Boot - Whatever Costume National does to makes its boots so incredibly comfortable to walk and stand in, please continue doing it. Despite its heel, this boot is so soft and cushioned and light and comfortable from the instant you put it on that you almost feel like you're floating compared to so many heavy boots out there. And yet, it has substantial coverage for warmth. Love the bit of rubber on the bottom that aids in comfort. As to size, I'm between 5-1/2 and 6, and the 6 plus a medium sock fit perfectly. I am fast becoming a Costume National girl.

Costume National Ankle Boot - I have this boot in black and love it. The quality of leather makes it soft and light and the quality of craftsmanship gives it a wonderful balance and stability. Immediately comfortable. The rubber sole also adds to its comfort. I'm between a size 5-1/2 and 6 and found the 5-1/2 perfect; I can even use a medium weight sock with it. I have a half dozen Costume National shoes and boots because of their absolute comfort and quality.

Outstanding shoe in terms of style, comfort, and quality. Versatile color and style is great for dress-up and down. Please take note: This shoe is conservatively sized. Historically I wear a US size 10.5 or around a 44 Euro size. This shoe in a size 9 (42) leaves room to spare.

A fun shoe - The small pointy toe and interesting cone heel makes this a really unusual looking, attractive shoe. The color is a versatile dark wine red and it is the kind of shoe that works for everything from jeans to casual dress up. They were very comfortable right out of the box. One correction -- it is a 3 1/4" heel, not 2 3/4" as marked.

I love these boots! They look like a cross between Marc Jacobs round toe boot and a cowboy boot: cute and comfortable and beautiful leather.
