Corso Como Reviews
These are my go to shoes for running around when I want to look trendy, but need to be comfortable. By far the most comfortable shoes I own. I have a pair (white/silver) and now looking for another. Feels like you are wearing slippers.
The style is very cute, but unless you have bigger ankles or feet the strap size isn't small enough. They seemed very comfortable on the tightest setting, but after wearing them a few times I have developed severe big toe pain. Wish I could return them, not sure if a half size down would help the strap fit.
I reviewed these shoes on May 3rd and had some problems with 2 pair but exchanged them for a pair that finally worked. I have to update my first review because now the fabric at the buckle is unraveling and coming apart. I noticed a recent review stated that the strap broke. I've worn these shoes maybe 5 times and now they are useless. I'm hoping Zappos will make good on these and accept a return.
I wanted to love this shoe. It looks nice and feels comfortable with the padding, but I had two issues with fit. One is it didn't have enough arch support. Two is the back of the shoe comes up too high and digs into my skin when I walk. Had to return.
Went to Nordstrom first to try them on and verify my size. When they arrived, they were a little too tight. But, after about a week of wincing through, they have stretched out and about pretty much perfect. The one thing I notice is that the cushy footpad slips out of the shoe as I take my foot out. So, it is removeable for those that don't want it, which is good. And, I have to bring up the really cushy and supportive footbed. I am not one used to wearing 3 inch heels, but all the extra padding makes walking in these shoes easy. And of course, they're gorgeous, classy and sexy.
It is a nice little shoe, nothing fancy/glamorous. The upper material of this flat is very thin, which is both good and bad. Good - it's very comfy, no pinches or pressure points. I wore it barefoot on the first day - no blisters. Bad - it likely won't live that long. There are a couple potential issues with this shoe. One is the little fabric band on top of it - it's a bit irritating to the bare skin, but as I said, no blisters so far. The stitching is another matter. On the inside of one of my shoes there was an extremely painful little bulge at the end of the thread - it seemed like they melted the thread to hold it in place. That hurt! So I cut it off. The size of the toe cage is barely enough to cover my toes - a bit smaller, and there would have been too much toe cleavage for my taste. Overall, a good addition to the spring wardrobe, but beware of little glitches.
I just got the Brass Calf version yesterday and I'm not sure if the picture shown is 'in process', because it looks much better than it's shown on Zappos. The picture shows the leather on the sides of the shoe to almost be this contracting pale, nude leather, that I thought looked odd, but I could fix with a little fabric paint as it had this beautiful stenciled design that needed to be emphasized. Imagine my surprise when it arrived and I found out what looks like a pale tan/nude leather color on the site is actually already a delicate silver, that looks beautiful against the silver of the top of the shoe. Out of the box, I found it easy to walk in and other than a slight tightness on top the toe for one of my shoes because my feet are wide, they felt amazingly comfortable. I have no doubt that tightness will also be gone after I break these in as well. I will add that I think Zappos may have evil master minds working for them, as I was thinking of also getting these in black and now they put them on sale, to try to tempt me.
I am seriously picky when it comes to my shoes. These beauties make my legs look longer and the craziest thing is they are one of the most comfortable pair of heels I own. Yes, really. They did feel as though they stretched and my feet started to slip out -- no problem, get a pair of those cushy pads and you'll be back in action. Love these shoes.
Cute sandal but not what I'm looking for. Good quality. Nice for summer weekend. I bought for the bright coral color, but style read a little too young for my age. Returning.
Beautiful color (pistachio green, w/aqua insert that shows at edges), but despite being longer than it should have been for the size I ordered, it was narrow (or perhaps normal - I have wide feet). If you have normal width or narrow feet, order down at least half a size and this will probably be a great shoe. Good quality leather.
Gorgeous! The coral color is divine and the studs are anchored through the leather so no chance of them popping off (like the glued-on embellishments on other brands). The footbed of this flat is surprisingly substantial and cushioned. My foot is narrow and these fit me perfectly, so they may be snug on a wide foot. These shoes are winners on style alone, but they earn extra credit for quality and comfort.
This shoe is remarkably comfortable for a pump. I wore them two days in a row after I got them, and my feet felt fine at the end of day two. I'm quite fair skinned, so the color is slightly darker than my skin tone, but it's still a great nude pump. I'm going to get a lot of use and wear out of these and would definitely consider buying them in another color also.
I wore these at 34 weeks pregnant with very swollen feet and they were still very comfortable! Love them!
These are incredibly comfortable shoes. I love them, but returned them as they were too high for me (I usually wear shorter heels and wedges). If you can wear high heels, I recommend these!
Love this shoe! Color is perfect and goes with almost everything - great alternative to the nude color so popular right now. The best thing about this shoe is the comfort! Extra padding but still true to size. Will definitely buy this brand again.
I love these shoes I buy a pair monthly I live in the city and walk quite a bit sometimes 10 hours on my feet and these shoes are perfect!
I ordered a half size down (I am normally a 7.5-8 and got a 7 here). They were still big and even worse, wide. I have feet on the wide side of normal. It would seem to me that if you have narrow feet, these might not work at all. I returned them myself.
I love this shoe! It is made well, very comfortable and stylish. Corso Como is one of my favorites and I highly recommend this shoe.
This sandal is gorgeous and extremely comfortable. The sole is soft and provides more support than the average thong. The only problem is that the back strap can't be tightened enough to properly anchor the shoe to my foot! I wouldn't recommend this for people with narrow feet and ankles. Girls with average shoe width shouldn't have a problem though. I really wish these fit me better!
