This boot is gorgeous and comfortable however the shaft is ridiculously wide! I have narrow to average calves, even with jeans tucked in I had a good 2" of extra room that made the top of the boot flair out. Such a disappointment!

This is a gorgeous, rich looking, classic flat riding boot, but unfortunately I could not wear it because I have calves on the thinner side, so the shaft portion of the boot was about 1 inch too big for me and flared out on the sides, which did not look good. I am so bummed because I love everything else about this boot: the leather is the perfect color and texture, it zips up the side, and it is so comfortable with soft lining and gel in the footbed. It felt true to size to me. This boot would have been perfect for me if it had a buckle at the top of the shaft where I could customize the fit around my calves. This is probably a great boot for someone with larger calves, and even has a small hidden stretchy panel to make the shaft even larger.

Amazingly comfortable! It\'s a shame they didn\'t have it in black, I would buy another pair. I also was surprised when I ordered this item last night and found it at my doorstep today by noon! What a great service!\r\n\r\n

These are great ankle boots. Very hip look but comfortable. European styling. Love them with tights or skinny jeans.

Some of the most comfortable flats I have ever owned. I could wear them around the house all day as houseshoes! Really great cushiony footbed padding. Love them. (Only caveat: I found them to be quite long so had to go down half a size.)

Fabulous shoe! It is so hard to find a fun, colorful, well crafted, beautiful shoe which is not a spike heel; this is it. The craftsmanship is superb, and the styling is remarkable. with the super soft leather I was able to use my shoe stretcher to widen the toe bed a tad, making them a non-blistering shoe. I bought 2 sizes not sure which would fit me better, and my friend adopted the other size. What a great surprise on the sole; Paul Simon had these shoes in mind.

Just beautiful - An undeniably gorgeous boot, but I bought these hoping the shaft was as wide as everyone said they were. No dice. My 15.5-16" calves could not squeeze into a size 9, though the insole and lining are extremely comfortable and luxurious (lined with the most supple suede ever, ooh la la).

I also have a problem with the circumference. Unacceptably wide. Poor design. I had such hopes. I love my CC dress shoes!

I love these shoes. They look great with jeans and I think will look very cute with a skirt, too. In my case they ran half a size too small. I normally wear a 9.6, the 10 fit perfectly. I just have to mention that I have been ordering shoes from Zappos since 2007 and the service is incredible. Most times I have received shoes the next day.

Material too stiff, hurts heel. This shoe has a classy look, but I had to return it because the material is so stiff on the shoe while walking to look at it in the mirror in my home, the heel area was so stiff it was hurting. And the sizing runs a bit big so it wasn't tight at all. Sad to have to return it. Loved the look.

First impressions: I just received these shoes today, and am blown away by the comfort level. The leather is soft, and almost hugs the foot like a sock, but without being uncomfortably tight. Additionally, the footbed feels padded, so I almost feel like I'm walking on pillows; it's great! I'm not a believer in wearing painful shoes just to look cute, so these shoes could be exactly what I'm looking for: comfortable heels, manageable height, great for going out (with skinny jeans, dresses, skirts) or even, possibly, for running a quick errand if I decide I want to look cute. Really, they're that comfortable. I'm sorry I can't offer more than my first impressions. I'd like to be able to say how these shoes feel after a few hours in them, or even after wearing them for a month or two, but at least you know they're great-looking and great-feeling right out of the box! (Note: I did purchase these in my regular size, and the fit is true to size; I think for this brand it varies based on each particular shoe, as reviews for other shoes by Corso Como say to size up or down, etc.)

I have very muscular calves and these boots fit great! I am happy to find a brand with a more generous shaft circumference. The leather is beautiful and the heel height is perfect.

I just bought these boots after spending a week looking for a pair of flat(ish) tall simple black boots. These were the only boots I found that fit the bill. These boots not only look good, they are super comfortable. I do not have any issues with the calf area of the boot. I am on the shorter side - 5\'2\'\' with average calves. I definitely recommend!

These shoes are so fashionable and very flattering. I have gotten several compliments on them. I bought them in black. They are incredibly comfortable; heel not too tall and the insole is a very soft leather with a bit of a cushion to it. They look great with pants and dresses.

Fit like a dream, perfect! I bought them to wear to work where I'm on my feet all day. They look like they'll work with the extra padding in the footbed. Beautifully made, yet lightweight. Even my 26 year old daughter loves them. Now I'm looking for a purse to match! I'm going to buy this brand again. Buy them!

A very pretty shoe - delicate yet well-padded. The sole part of the shoe is very comfy, my only problem is that the vamp seemed a little narrow on my foot, and cut in on the sides of my foot, not unbearable, but still not the most comfortable. I normally wear normal width shoes so I don\'t think my foot is that wide. Perhaps they will stretch more with time. The light brown color is gorgeous and a lovely contrast against denim or other more muted clothing. Even though it\'s a sandal, b/c it\'s covertoed, I feel like I can even get away with it in the office. I\'m keeping it inspite of the width issue, just won\'t be able to wear them for long walks.

I have these shoes in black, and love them so much. I had gotten another pair of Corso Como and liked them, especially for the comfort, as well for being true to size. I have enjoyed both pair, and will continue to look for more!

These boots are a great classic with a twist of fashion. If you have thin calves these are for you. The foot pad makes them so comfortable. They look great with a dress, pencil skirt or jeans tucked in. I am amazed at how well made they are. And believe me you will get compliments on them. They look much cuter on they they do on the website.

I completely disagree with reviewers below. I have very skinny legs, calves included, and these boots fit perfectly. I have been all over the tri-state area trying to find flat, black boots that would fit and these are perfect. Simple and classic, these are a keeper.

This boot came to me in 24 hours! It was gorgeous, well made, and felt so nice! Unfortunately I had to return it as the 5 1/2 was a half size too big (I am a 5 or 5 1/2 usually). It felt too roomy. A 5 was not available. I would have kept it otherwise!

Too baggie and tall. I was looking for a boot to hug my calf, but this was very loose fitting. The leather is too stiff to make it a slouchy boot. I have large calves so I was surprised at how much room there was to spare. I also thought these were too tall. If they would have been a half inch shorter and had a tighter fit around the calf, they would have perfect.

Love them! I bought these for my European vacation. I thought they would be comfy to walk in all day. They were more comfy than most other sandals in this style. I love them! I wear them to work, too! Like most sandals in this style, they offer no support. However, they are very cute and worth it! Very well made! As for fit, for me, they fit true to size. They are a bit narrow.
