Overall:

Love these shoes! I own 6 pairs of Converse, and I love them all, but this is the most comfortable pair I own! Usually it takes weeks of wear for them to really break in, but these only took a few days before they were like a second pair of skin.

I purchased this shoe for my 14 year old daughter, who saw a friend wear it. The shoe came already laced, thank goodness, as there are many holes and the shoe strings are no doubt several yards long. The strings are elastic, so they remain tied and the young lady opts to slip the shoes on and off. She wears them daily to school, and they have become her favorite pair. They do run a bit large, but she doesn\'t seem to mind.

I purchased the Converse for my teenager's 16th birthday. Great selection, great quality and excellent on time delivery. Zappos makes it so easy to purchase shoes. These are not 'after market' shoes or a knock-offs. I can always trust Zappos.com.

Stiff, hot, painful shoes. I took the advice of other reviewers and purchased a 12, as I usually fall somewhere between a 12 and 13. Unfortunately, the shoe is narrower than I had realized and should have bought the 13. Long story short, I say ignore this "buy a size down" thing.

Overall:

This is a slight twist on the standard Hi Top Chuck Taylor. It\'s comfortable and exactly as you would expect. The double details look very cool and are noticeable when compared to the regular style. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for comfort is that the double-laces can take a little longer to lace up when you\'re putting them on since there are so many eyelets.

Wow! I love Zappos! 2nd purchase and I am very impressed. They deliver amazingly fast, even with free shipping! Bought them on Sunday and got them Tuesday. Amazon takes at least a week or so. Great shoes, too. I love them.

Classic look in a Grey canvas. They are not as comfortable as some of the other sneaks available with more padding, but with a pair of Dr. Scholls I\'m Gellin\'.

My dad has been wearing "Chuck Taylors" since he was a little boy (he is now 60). It has been increasingly difficult to find the original white high top sneakers and that is the only one he will wear. Thanks to Zappos, not only is he happy, but it is incredibly easy to order and just have them delivered to him directly. What a fantastic company that makes life a little better!

These sneakers were purchased for my daughter as an everyday knock around shoe. They are true to size and very comfortable. My only complaint is an upturn in the front of the shoe. Other than that, it's a great everyday sneaker if you are not fashion conscious.

After ordering another shoe in the wrong size, I hesitated to try and make an exchange. The hassle I thought would be involved made me put it off. Little did I know that it was as easy as a quick, cheerful 5 minute phone call to make the exchange and have the right shoes shipped to me the next day! Returns/exchanges are easy and I love my new shoes. Their fun little details have earned lots of compliments!

I love my Chucks! I have wide feet so they aren\'t exactly the most comfortable but I won\'t be walking miles in them anyways! I don\'t lace them very tight and that works for me!

Converse Chuck Taylor\'s have been one of my favorite shoes since I was 15 yrs old. I usually wear a 9.5 Women\'s and have found that Chucks can run a half size larger, so I always order a Women\'s 9/ Men\'s 7 and they fit perfect every time. These arrived fast and were on my feet and I was out the door with no problems. I recommend changing lace color to add another dimension of personal flair.

I absolutely ove these shoes. I had a couple pairs when I was younger and I am thrilled that they are back in vogue. They look effortlessly cool with any outfit and are always super comfortable. Mine are the charcoal grey, and they are a more traditional grey than they look in the picture (they look like they have more brown undertones in the photo.) They do run a size large, I am a standard size 10 in everything and the size 9 (women's) fits me perfectly in these. Grab them in your favorite color and wear them everywhere!

The classic cool sneak. A must have for all ages. Run a bit large, but this may be good due to the slightly pointed toe. Flat bottomed and not great for walking around on concrete all day. Great for school, work, downtown and stylish jaunts.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received these and tried them on. They are so cushy! Definitely a different feel from classic Converse and I would say an improvement. The only thing I wish these shoes had was a little more embellishment. They don't have the classic black line along the bottom or the contrast stitching. They are still cute, but I think the lack of detail makes them look a little more generic. There isn't any real visible detail to identify them as Converse so they could be any old brand. Nonetheless, I still will be wearing them quite often and I'm sure my nice, comfy feet will thank me!
