I own a few Cole Haan shoes and naturally I love them all but this pair is the first ones I had to have stretched. They were extremely tight over the top of my feet. And I had to get them stretched a second time because the shoe man did not want to stretch them too much..

Excellent shoe. I usually wear Allen Edmonds. This is my first foray into Cole Haan. I have a narrow foot and the Howland loafer fits nearly perfectly. Only caveat is that once I bought one pair I ended up with three in different colors and textures because they are comfortable and reasonably attractive. Complaint is there aren't more different styles to choose from in the Howland fit.

Classic shoe, beautiful color and nice leather. Got these for my husband. At first he thought they might be snug, but after walking in them a bit, they felt just right. These are made in India...just wish more shoes were made in USA.

The women's version ran way too narrow so I ordered the men's 10½D. They are super comfortable and nice looking!

Fantastic shoe. A bit narrower than I expected given I own four other pairs of cole haan shoes in the same size and they weren't as tight initially. They though are super comfortable, mold to your foot, and the leather is super supple. I highly recommend them.

So far, so good! True to the Cole Haan product! Elegant, formal looks, feel like slippers (comfortable). Would not consider another brand! Zappos C.S.R. was great! I'll be buying another pair soon!

Great no sock spring and summer choice to class up an outfit. Comfortable as my flip flops, but no one has to see my hammer toes.

These are good looking shoes, no doubt. The second time I wore these two people complemented me on them. The color is especially nice. Get some concealed socks (like for Vans slip-ons) and wear these with some semi-casual shorts if you want to look like a boss. My only gripe is that they rub on the sides of my little toes and I do not have wide feet. Maybe they will break in, but that definitely takes away from the comfort. Also, they would blister the back of your heel if you do not wear some kind of socks.

Would normally take a size 9 medium but had to change to a 9.5 medium. Delighted with this shoe.

I bought these for a casual work shoe. They look great and get a few compliments from time to time. I love them, they're comfortable, and nearly slipper-like. I have a fairly wide foot (D) and fall between 11.5 and 12 depending on the brand. I went with a 12 and they fit great; however, should I do it over I might go with the 11.5 now that they've stretched a little after some wear. Overall, love this shoe.

Initially I bought the medium width and had to return them because they were too tight on the sides, so I exchanged them for the wider version and they fit perfectly. I'm very happy with the quality and comfort of the shoe. I would recommend them to anyone looking for penny loafers.

I have two teen sons with hard to shop for feet. Both wear size 14 which is a very difficult size to find. Cole Haan makes extremely quality shoes and this shoe was an example of that with its superb leather. Unfortunately, for me, though I found them to be too dressy for a driving moccasin. The leather was too nice and too classy for my style. They would look great with jeans or dress slacks, but I felt that I could not wear shorts with them--unless they were dressy shorts or I was in Bermuda.

I saw these shoes at a national chain men's store, but they didn't have my size in stock (not unusual given that I wear a 15). They would be glad to order them for me, but it would take 2 weeks. They would also charge a fee to order. While in the store, I turned to Zappos. I ordered in the car, and they were here in 2 days (because I was given expedited shipping) -- no fee of course. They were perfect, and if they hadn't been...of course I could have returned them with no fee, as everyone knows. They fit well and I wear them frequently. So there - chain store- no fees and two day - not two week - delivery!
