Driver shoe - The Gunnison at first felt tight and uncomfortable but I put a pair of shoe trees in and waited a couple of days to see if fit was better. It was and took a little to break in. My first pair of Cole Haan's and I really wanted to like these shoes. They are very well made and look terrific.
Brands I'd also recommend: Air Barton penny or Howland penny (Cole Haan)

The quintessential driving moc - A great pair of moccasins. They look good, feel great and I'm diggin' those killer looking soles. The quality and style definitely match their price. They need to be broken in; the Gunnison runs tight in width out of the box. They do stretch and once formed to your foot they fit like gloves. Spot on size-wise in length for me. While they do have a modicum of arch support, there is not much. If you need a shoe with real support, then these are not the ticket. A classic moccasin that will never go out of style.
Brands I'd also recommend: Minnetonka moosehide or deerhide driving mocs

I purchased these shoes at a local store and they did not wear well. The sole wore quickly while the leather bottom heel and toe both got scuffed badly just walking. They never got soft as I had expected and did not get comfortable shoe.

The shoes have great appearance, fit, and comfortable. The most pleasant experience I've had in on-line purchasing is buying through Zappos. The first pair I received had a blemish. I called and they shipped the second pair the same day, their customer service is FIRST CLASS!

A very good product that fits beautifully and is very attractive. It can be worn with jeans or with shorts and with or without socks. The Zappos service team were an excellent help in making my choice.

Great purchase! You can't go wrong with the traditional and comforting feel of this Cole Haan loafer! I'm currently an undergrad college student, this has been the perfect loafer for walking around campus and still keeping a cool look. The toe area of the shoe does wear out a bit, but if you maintain them with a simple polish they seem to keep a new look.

This shoe is very comfortable! I ordered the Air Grants first and the string broke the first day. Zappos was phenomenal about exchanging the shoe for the Gunnison at their cost.

These shoes are awesome. I know a lot of people say they don't last long (especially on the air grates because lack of extra toe fabric piece) but in the shoe's defense...they are a driving shoe,not a walking shoe. They are meant to look nice and go to special events in and driving. Not being a rugged college student and wearing them like tennis shoes. Now that that is out of the way, yes - for their purpose they are durable.
