Born more than a century ago at the intersection of form and function, Cole Haan has been innovating ever since founder Trafton Cole started making resoleable shoes during the depression. After being bought by Nike in 1988, Cole Haan began introducing footwear with built-in air chambers, utilizing Nike's cutting edge technology to make everything from women's heels to wingtips more comfortable than they'd ever been. Today, the NYC-based brand takes its inspiration from the streets of New York City, offering a range of classic staples with their signature twist—from outerwear and handbags to heels and weekenders—that can stand up to the rigors of the city and still look good.

A great shoe overall. Looks great, fits very well, and the Nike air sole is comfy. The leather is very soft though -- I've already scuffed them up a bit. They also feel a little uncomfortable around the heel after driving in them for a while.

These shoes are good comfort wise. They provide great support. They are a little tight at first but stretch out and fit really well after they break in. There is a good sole on the shoe. My concern with them, is that the leather on them is very fragile, and they knick up and chip and the leather peels away really easily. It is as if the top layer of leather, which is a really nice soft leather, is too fragile to put on a shoe. I noticed the first knick in them from me taking my shoes off by kicking the heel slightly. I am not very rough on my shoes, so I was surprised by this. I made an effort to not do that again, but every time I wear them I seem to notice another peeling piece of leather or chip in the outer layer of leather. I am not sure if these were a defective pair or what but for such expensive shoes, I do not think they should wear and tear like this. I have only had them for two months now.

A well built, very comfortable shoe. It is very stylish and well suited for business, while you can easily run when you need to. So far they are holding up well. The only negative is that because of the Nike Air they are sized more like Nikes than Cole Haan's. In this case I was a full half size larger than usual and they are a little on the thin side. They should break in over time however.

I bought this shoe for a wedding, and it quickly became my everyday brown work shoe, in fact I like this shoe so much I just ordered a pair in black. I cannot really think of anything bad to say about it.
