Circa Reviews
Good looking, durable shoes. Needing some blacks for work, and these fit the bill nicely. However, due to lack of support my feet end up hurting after long days of standing and working. Lots of padding, just not much support.
I wasn't familiar with the Circa brand, but I liked the detailing so I went for them. I got a 9.5 in men's because I'm an 11 in women's and at first they were a little snug. I wore them for the first day expecting them to rip up my heels breaking them in, but they ended up being super comfortable really quick! The black on them gets a little dirty easier than I would like but the neon green is key. I actually really like these shoes and I'm happy with my purchase.
Be aware that the Black Lopez 50 are Nubuck suede. I bought these as my summer shoes thinking they were canvas (it was hard to tell from the pictures). Either way they are a fine shoe, but more of a fall/winter shoe for me.
I bought these in January knowing I couldn't wear 'em til spring. It's May now. And I've gotten a lot of compliments on these babies. MOSTLY from the ladies. Comfortable as all getup, stylin' like Handsome Dick and versatile like Cholula--you can't regret owning these. Suggestion: They require low-cut socks. Buy 'em from Zappos. The Converse low-cut socks. The ladies will thank you. And as always, you're welcome.
I like these shoes a lot. They have comfortable soles. My only negative point is that the brown trim got ripped within months. It doesn't look bad unless you're looking really close.
Excellent shoe! AFTER: I changed the shoe laces to black ones. (The ones they provide are too long.) and I replaced the insert with some hiking inserts. But after they broke in they are some awesome kicks. But they came two days after I ordered them.
These shoes look great. However, we thought they would be more red than orange. They are very orange. Still look good - but if you are looking for a red/black shoe, this isn't it.
There shoes are okay, they get the job done. They look a little more dressed up then tennis shoes. About bought them for appearance not function, although I did want something lightweight and canvas for breathable summer hot weather. But I walk a lot in the city and so they lasted no more than six months before the back rubber strip was worn out. This'll be a one-time purchase. Next time I'll try to find something that lasts a little longer. I wanted to add some shoes to the wardrobe that were better in appearance than Athletic tennis shoes, for the summer but not as dressy as oxford leather. So I decided to give lightweight canvas shoes a try. This is my first time having this style of shoes. I live in New York walk around a lot and I need to have a flexible wardrobe that's a dressed up slightly casual. I chose the solid dark brown color, and they were flexible to wear with different colors. They are flat with no arch support but surprisingly that didn't bother me, and I do have a minor arch problem.
I wanted a lighter summer shoe and this fits the bill. After reading a few other reviews, I ordered a full size bigger than I actually wear and they are still extremely tight. Whoever designed the sizes for these shoes must have a problem because these are missed sized badly.
I wear these shoes every day and I haven't had any problems. They don't have very good arch support, but they are comfortable and well made.
As a real Compton city G and 5X Guerrilla Crip, these Circa Crips in Insignia Blue offer great traction and a awesome feel for everyday dipping through the set. Not to mention, the looks I receive from fellow Crips and Crippettes. My little homie Mania C. was quoted saying, wow, big homie, those kicks are really fresh cuh! Even Shaunte from Tree Top Piru asked me out because she is sick of seeing the same 'ol blue fattys combo! Thanks Zappos!
These are my favorite shoes because I have wide feet and I don't have to break them in. The only downside to these is that if you use them for skateboarding they won't last long. I don't even skate and the soles wear quickly and the inside heel section falls apart along with the outside rubber cracking after awhile. But these are just minor complaints. Good shoes.
Nice looking shoe, very comfortable. Didn't need to be broken in. The picture doesn't do the shoe justice.
This is my 4th pair of Circa Lopez shoes, and I'm not sure what they have changed, but this pair is falling apart inside and out after about 3 months. First I noticed the upper separating from the rubber sidewalls, and now the inside of the heel is worn through and pieces are coming off and the insoles are coming apart. They are not my only pair of shoes either, they get rotated with a couple of others, so this is pretty disappointing.
They work great. I wear black cotton socks and the friction creates the sock fuzzy balls to stick at the back of the shoe. It kind of looks like a bunch of stickers stuck on your shoelaces after walking through a dry field. But hey, if you don't wear black cotton socks, then no need to worry about anything else.
I ordered this shoe on Thursday and received it on Monday. Other than the delay in shipment, the shoe was everything that the description said it was. Satisfied.
I have owned many many pairs of the Circa Lopez 50, it is my go to shoe for everything. Great durability, as well as flexible. I highly recommend them!
Shoes look real nice on, and go with anything. I wish they put a little more effort into making them feel more like a shoe than a slipper...the sole is really slippery and feels thin..overall the shoe feels flimsy but they look rad.
I ordered the blue and white pair, it was a bit lighter than the picture indicates. Reading the previous reviews it looked like I should order a half size up, that was the right decision. Not the most comfortable shoe, style is pretty good. Overall a decent shoe.
Great looking shoe. I bought them to go with my dark skinny jeans and they go perfect. Runs a bit small.
Great shoe! Stylish and durable outsole. Takes a little time to break in as there is minimal heel cushioning / arch support but the pair I've owned for about 2years has served well for the average school day.
