Cienta Kids Shoes

These looked like the perfect walking and playing shoe, however, when we received them we realized that there was no sole insert in the shoes. I thought this was an accident, but when you look at the photos above you will see that is standard. The other Cienta shoes we rec'd did have the sole insert with arch support so we are keeping those and returning these. Too bad because these were cute, easy to get on and practical.

I love this style of Cienta shoe. This is our second pair. But, I have to say this color is terrible. On my computer, fuchsia looked to be a bright Peony pink. In real life, these things are basically like neon pepto bismol. The sticker imposed in English over the box says "fuchsia" however, so presumably we got the right color and not the neon. I can't figure out what the box itself says. (On my computer, the neon color btw, has a coral cast and looks reasonably pleasant, but I didn't want to risk it.) Maybe I was confusing this with a magenta or something in my mind.... In any event, I hate them and would have returned if my daughter had not already started wearing. (She is 3 and of course likes them.) If I wanted a color this garish I could have gotten much cheaper shoes at a big box discount store. Another negative in my book is that the shoes smell like strawberries. We work pretty hard in my house to avoid scented things for kids and even for adults when we are around the kids, so as to avoid phthalate contamination. We have given up all perfume and scented shower gels and antiperspirants, so I was not psyched to see that something touching my daughter's skin has some sort of fake chemical scent in it. I am really hoping this will wash out. We got the navy last time and they were great--great color, washed well, unscented.

These shoes are so cute and trendy. The thick sole prevents the beautiful metallic material from the sandal to rub off. It looks a lot cuter in real life than on the picture! If you have a little princess she'll love it.

Color is more like neon lime! Has too much of a green tint. Not very happy with them but my daughter needs to wear them soon, so I might keep them.

Really cute shoe. Have them for both my 8 year old and 5 year old and they look great on both of them!

I bought these for my one year old son who had just started to walk. The shoes run rather narrow so it is hard to jam your child's foot in there, especially if they like to curl their toes like mine does. Next the sole is way too thick (i.e. tall). This isn't good design in a shoe sized for a baby/toddler learning to walk. With soles so tall, my son wasn't able to get a good sense of walking and returned to crawling which scuffed up the shoe which is made from a not very hearty denim fabric.

These are cute sneakers for my 2½ year old daughter. They are easy to put on and they look cute with dresses, leggings and jeans.

Nice pair of inexpensive shoes for spring/summer. Comfortable, true to size and a scent so the kids think it's cool

My favorite dressy/casual shoe by far. Easy to put on and take off, sturdy, well built shoe. Always can count on the fit. This is my 2nd pair, first pair I bought when my daughter was first walking and bought another 2 sizes later because I liked them so much. Also, like that it is easily washable which is a GREAT plus.

These shoes are perfect for my 5 year old who loves anything pink and sparkly but is very picky about the comfort of her shoes. She doesn't complain about anything hurting her in these shoes and is able to wear them with or without socks. Great shoes for dresses or skirts when they still need a rubber sole to run around on the playground. I also like that the insoles are breathable and come out for easier washing.

Love Cienta shoes. Super cute, great fit, and washable. Have held up very well so far. Very good value for the money.

This is the third pair of this brand my daughter has had. They're well-made and cute, without the cartoon characters and logos and whatnot that I can't abide (though we did succumb to sparkle this time). I added an insole because my daughter has narrow feet, but I know from experience I'll be removing it by the end of the summer.

The shoe is a beautiful metallic blue and it shows a lot better in person. My daughter has a narrow foot and it's a challenge to find shoes with a good fit. These fit very well, however she complained that it was a little tight across the top and ankle. I loosen the buckle for the ankle and after a couple of wears, they seemed to have broken in. We ordered the gold as well as it is a very good looking casual/dressy shoe.

My daughter loves these shoes because they are purple and sparkly! I like them because they fit her well and are well-made. They are a bit narrow, however, but not so much that the velcro wouldn't adjust. Also, they smell like grape. I think it's a bit off-putting but my daughter thinks it's cool. She's 4.

Super cute! These don't last much more than a season because of the canvas toe, which isn't a tragedy while your kids' feet are growing so fast anyway, but beware. That said, they look adorable, and we've had several pairs over the years. The soles (I think) have a very fruity smell (especially when you open the box) but that dissipates with use.

These are super cute but run quite wide and the soles wore out very quickly. We've only had the sneakers for less than 3 weeks and the heels are worn down. I don't think I will purchase another pair of Cientas, unfortunately.

I bought these shoes for my 7 year old daughter. She has narrow feet so I usually have a hard time finding cute shoes without laces. These fit great! They are true to size, light weight and look great with her school uniform. The denim fabric looks cute with casual wear on the weekends.

I love these shoes for my toddler. She is a new walker and the rubber sole is sturdy for outdoor walking. The shoes pair well with every day play clothes and dresses. She has received loads of compliments on these!

These are so cute! My 18 mo. old seems to love the way they feel when she walks. As another reviewer noted they smell really good not rubbery. I'm glad I ordered a size up though because they run small. She usually wears a 5 and I ordered a 6 and they fit with some room.
