What a Great boot from a company with history! Look good and very comfortable out of the box. The sole is very slip resistant too! Highly recommend anything from Chippewa.

Been wearing these for almost three years now working in the oilfields. My next pair will be exactly the same; they're terrific. I love the higher heel as it keeps you from getting sore feet. Moving from a flat boot, you will feel off balance for a day or two, but you will get used to it and hate wearing anything else.

I love these boots. Gave me two solid seasons of dry work no matter if I was plowing snow or climbing trees. These boots take a beating and stay dry and warm. Not to mention, they are comfortable.

These boots are awesome! It took a while to get them really broken in, but once I did, they are a dream to wear. I am on my feet at work 14 hours a day in an asphalt plant, these boots take the abuse. 100% waterproof, breathable, and comfortable. I will never but another boot that does not say Chippewa Bay Apache Lace-to-toe Logger on the box!

About Chippewa
Initially, Chippewa started with only logger boots in its product line. Constructed of double and triple leather midsoles and hand-plugged outsole spikes, the logger boots were designed to assist loggers as they rolled the logs down the rivers to the mills. Based on that state-of-the-art boot, Chippewa gained a reputation for quality and began expanding the product line to include more boot categories.
The past century has brought significant changes in the need for quality outdoor work and sport footwear. Chippewa Boots continues to add new products to its inventory to meet the needs of its loyal following. As part of the Justin Brands, Inc. family, quality and craftsmanship continue to be the leading guides in its development, just as it has been for the last 100 years. Rugged as the land they walk, Chippewa. Live the Spirit.

I ordered this boot at my husband's request. He is extremely happy with the boot, however, it is cheaper other places.

These boots are very comfortable for arch support, the sole is a nice quality but the boot does make my feet sweat a lot, despite having a so called breathable liner. If you have sweaty feet do not buy this boot.
