Comfortable shoes. They are easy to lace and provide good insulation and shock absorption. Only con is the laces aren't well made, but what laces are?

I will buy nothing but Chippewa boots since I got my first pair. My wife gave me a pair of these last Christmas. She thought I needed a new pair but my old pair was still good. They are light weight and very comfortable. You know you have a great pair of boots when you put them on in the morning and never think about them all day until you take them off in the evening. I have 5 pairs of Chippewa boots including the first pair (over 10 ten years old and still waterproof). I've got Chippewa snake boots, 8" boots and this 6" boot. I can't throw any of them them away because I can't wear a pair out. I'm a surveyor, tree farmer and hunter and wear a pair almost every day through swamps, creeks, clear cuts, construction sites and whatever. For 30 years I tried about every other brands but never think of buying anything else since that first pair. Well worth the money.

These boots are excellent and just what I've been looking for. It's difficult to find well made items like this anymore. I have bad feet and ankles and they give me the support I need. Other boots I've tried on haven't even come close.

I received my Chippewa boots today, right on time (thanks UPS). I had looked around at no fewer than 4 or 5 stores looking for these boots. I found them here! I will definitely order from Zappos again! Thanks.

About Chippewa
Initially, Chippewa started with only logger boots in its product line. Constructed of double and triple leather midsoles and hand-plugged outsole spikes, the logger boots were designed to assist loggers as they rolled the logs down the rivers to the mills. Based on that state-of-the-art boot, Chippewa gained a reputation for quality and began expanding the product line to include more boot categories.
The past century has brought significant changes in the need for quality outdoor work and sport footwear. Chippewa Boots continues to add new products to its inventory to meet the needs of its loyal following. As part of the Justin Brands, Inc. family, quality and craftsmanship continue to be the leading guides in its development, just as it has been for the last 100 years. Rugged as the land they walk, Chippewa. Live the Spirit.
