Chaco

I cannot say enough good things about these sandals! I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis from running for years now. There are admittedly few shoe brands that feel comfortable, let alone supportive enough to quell the pain, but these sandals are it! I cannot believe the comfort! They stay put once tightened; they do not rub or cause blisters; they look awesome; and my heel pain is non-existent while wearing these. I highly recommend these sandals for supreme foot comfort during all of your outdoor and summertime activities!

Amazing!!!! I LOVE my new sandals and wear them ALL the time!!! I usually wear only barefoot shoes, however, for these I have made a big exception :-)

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable,cushioned and stable on my feet. The footbed is very contoured, which is great for my high arches. If you've got flat feet however, it would probably be uncomfortable. They are very attractive looking as well. My hubby, who normally thinks these athletic type sandals are hideous - actually likes the look of these!

Love these shoes. Just wish there were more black ones in stock. Also, they run big. Order 1/2 a size down. While not technically a wide, the toe box is nice and roomy.

Can't go wrong with the Unaweep Chacos. May take a few days to break in, but after that they're the most comfortable shoe ever. Speedy delivery, and free shipping!

I was concerned about the leather being stiff and rubbing when I first started wearing these sandals. However, it took less than a week of wear to break them in. Other reviews noted that one shoe was bigger than the other. This also happened to me. My solution was to order another pair in the same size and mix a pair that was the same size. Chaco's might need better quality control on these... They are comfortable, cute, and provide great arch support.

Love the look of this sandal! Local store did not have any for me to touch or try but I always wear flip flops and didn't think there would be any problems. Like another review indicated the straps hit your foot in such a way it causes your heel to slide in and off the shoe. The straps also rubbed my foot and I do not wear a wide shoe normally. Still love the style but it has to go back! :(

I have flat feet, and these sandals help, while walking around town; however, they are a little hard to break in at first. After some use, they blend with your feet.

The straps are a little too tight for my feet. Otherwise, a quality product.

So I just submitted a review of the leather version of this shoe. Pretty much the same applies to this as the leather version but the canvas is less supportive and flexible than the leather version. If you don't pronate and you have a high volume foot, this is for you especially if your foot is a "Chaco" last. Mine is for the sandals and maybe for a lace up version of a Chaco shoe but this was a poor design for me! Zappos' service is as awesome as usual!

I had hopes for this shoe since my 6-year old pair of Chaco sandals have been tough and supportive even for someone with pronation problems. While the size 7 was just like my sandals and the sole, supportive, my pronating instep hit the shoe at a very stiff spot, right where the elastic gore is! The leather is fairly stiff as well and the toe box too wide and deep (high volume). The strap did not provide enough adjust-ability so these will have to go back! It's a cute but clunky style but if it doesn't fit... Thanks, Zappos, though for overnight delivery!

Very very disappointed in this shoe. I wore these shoes around the house for a couple of days and were really comfortable. Once I started to wear them outside, horrible! They don't stay on my feet! My feet kept on slipping out! I own two pair of Chaco's and this style is worthless! You really need a back strap on these type of shoes!

Great sandals. I have very flat feet, and the arch support is remarkable (although it takes a little getting used to). It took quite a bit of patience to get the straps adjusted, but after that it was all good.

A little narrower than I expected, but they still fit fine. The sole seems very well made and has good support.

Great style sandal. Super comfy footbed. But, unfortunately they would not tighten up as a prior review complained. Had to return. :(

I love this shoes! I have Morton's Neuroma in both feet right now and needed something I could wear to minimize the pain. These shoes are so comfy I don't want to take them off. But Chacos have always been my favorite and made to fit my foot. I have a narrow heel and wider toe box, a high arch and I overpronate. These are so cute for such great comfort.

I was excited to see more of a fashion sandal, because that is the type that made me like Chaco many years ago (when the shoes were made in Colorado). I still have a pair of those old ones that have continued to hold together - love how they fit new and still love them. These, however are sized more narrowly, too narrow for my not exactly wide feet. These were really cute, seemed to be well made, with a supportive footbed, but I had to send them back. If your foot runs more on the narrow side of a B, these will probably be great for you!

These are great shoes. Wore them around SFO and Napa and they did great. True to size, great arch support. Only con, strapped rubbed a bit on top of arch, but skin toughened up, not bad now.

First pair of Chacos. I'm a huge fan of Keens, but they just don't offer a sandal quite like the style of Chacos. Getting the straps positioned at the perfect spot for my feet was a long process, but well worth the effort. The adjustability of the straps is their greatest feature next to the durable sole. Sylish and comfortable shoe that can easily be worn with skirts or jeans. Great arch support once those straps are in the right places. If the back heel strap isn't positioned just right it tends to rub a bit, but not a huge concern and hasn't given me any blisters.

As a longtime Chaco user, I have to reject the Updraft. It is cute, but is sized small, and very uncomfortable with hard plastic pieces on the sides. I am returning them.
