My understanding was that the Chaco sandals had a very high arch, which was my reason for buying. The arch in this sandal is moderate at best...also this sandal has straps that are too loose...right length and width though. Nice looking sandal...sorry to say it has to go back. I give it 5 stars because I would if it fit my size and purpose...if I didn't need a higher arch and if it fit.

Urgh. Finding cute, strappy sandals that my flat feet can walk around in all day is proving to be a challenge. I was excited because the straps in these sandals fit perfectly, but the footbed is too narrow by my arch. Are they super narrow for normal feet? No. But my flat feet spread... and I could tell these weren't going to work for walking around for miles. I was trying to find something new instead of my tried and true Keens, but apparently these aren't it.

These sandals are amazing! You might think they don't fit just right - they're tight here or loose there. But, voila, watch the YouTube instruction video and find that all straps are adjustable until they fit you perfectly. And this model has a sole that lasts forever. These are sandals you'll buy once in a long time! Love them.

I bought these sandals last summer for my youth trip to the Smoky Mountains. They were my first pair of Chacos and they were perfect for everything! I wore them shopping, eating, in the water park at our hotel, I didn't wear another pair of shoes the entire trip. My youth leader took us hiking up the Appalachian trail and about two miles in it started storming. Everyone else was slipping and falling over wet rocks and loose dirt but my Chacos didn't fail me the whole way back. They are super sturdy and very comfy once you break them in. They're expensive but very worth the money!

As soon as I received these sandals, I ordered the other color. Now I'm set for summer outings. These very comfortable and supportive sandals have all of Chaco's great features, but in an all-leather, dressier format. The straps don't adjust like the nylon ones do, but the heel strap does adjust quite a bit. These sandals look great with sun dresses, casual skirts, shorts, and slacks. And I can walk forever in them. These will go everywhere with me this year! I usually wear a 9 and have a low-volume foot, and the 9 fits perfectly.

Just received these hikers today. I ordered a half size larger than the low-cut Chaco Azula which I love for walking around town and light hiking. So far, it was wise to go up a half size, as I try out heavier hiking socks wearing them around in my home. More will be revealed as I try them outside. I love the heel cup and ankle support, and have enough toe box room for my wide foot.

If you are as committed to the Chaco footbed as I am and you need a water resistant hiking shoe with a good tread you might do quite well with these. I do. They needed a bit of breaking in as they felt a little stiff and tight in the beginning. Now, even with wool socks, they're fine. And have been essential for me in the Washington DC snow this winter.

I wear a size 10.5. The size 11's were great in length. My feet are average in width and these seemed fine with that respect. However, my feet are skinny and flat and as a result they swam in these sandals. There is no way for me to cinch them down and I am fearful that I will literally walk right out of them. People with a more dense foot or perhaps a higher arch will do well with these. Sadly I will have to return these good looking sandals.

Bought the bungee color in 11 and is true to size. I thought the bungee color was going to be more of a dark brown however they are a grey color like in the video not the picture. Still on the fence about the grey.

These shoes are fantastic! Perfect if you're on your feet all day long. I work in corrections and steel toe work boots we wear causes of us some pain in our knees, back, and hips. I wish you guys made them for law enforcement officers with composite toe...I wish! All black boot!

When I first received the shoe, it felt very stiff so I wore it around the house several times and decided to keep it as it was getting better. I've worn the shoes many times since then on short and long (4 miles) walks. I do like the shoe - but with one caveat. This is that the innersole seems to be very hard. I would prefer a softer feel and may opt to purchase a softer one. Bottom line is that I like the support and it is indeed waterproof.

This brand advertises adjustable straps, but the heel strap does adjust at all. It was much too long. This no flexibility in the sole. It's like strapping blocks of wood to your feet and clomping around.

The strap across the top of this shoe is impossible! It was very hard to get the shoes on and then the strap was very tight. Perhaps they would be comfortable once they were broken in but breaking them in would be long and painful so I returned them.

If you like Chaco's sandals, you will know how well they fit your foot and what good arch support they have. These are not the most stylish of shoes, however. I will be wearing them (and my Chaco sandals) on a 3 week tour in Southeast Asia.

I love these flip flops. This is my second pair. My first pair I essentially wore out. I still wear them around the house but they are frayed and the tread pattern on the sole is mostly gone. They have an arch, which isn't something regular flip flops have and I can wear them all day without any issues. In the summer I walk in them during my lunch break. I highly recommend them my first pair lasted 3 years, and like I said I still wear those just not outside.

Great boot! They are very comfortable, and look great. This is the first pair of boys I've owned since grade school so I was a little nervous about comfort and style, but I'm pleased to say that this was an excellent purchase. I would absolutely recommend these!

I REALLY wanted to love these. My first pair of Chacos, but they just don't work on my feet. I have really flat feet, and I can't get the straps tight enough; given where the stitching is, I'm left with slack at the ankle. Unfortunately, these will be going back.

Based on the reviews, I really wanted to love these sandals. Unfortunately, I developed quarter size blisters on the balls of both feet after an hour hike.

I bought a size too small for the summer at my outside job, and it was miserable. MAKE SURE YOU PICK THE RIGHT SIZE. Other than that, super durable for wet or dry days. Be warned, the unaweep is a thick chunky sole, unlike the yampa. So if you have small feet these will look chunky.

These boots are comfortable and have good ankle support with the height and stiffness of the high quality leather. I have not worn them in any wet weather and don't plan to. They fit the warmth bill just right for North Carolina winter. I ordered true to size with a 7 and it's been just right. The toe box is roomy, to accommodate thick socks. There is very little liner inside the leather, kind of a thin nylony fabric. I think it's supposed to be moisture wicking. I wear them laced to below the line on the ankle, where the cuff can be folded down. I don't like it folded, and I don't like it laced and tied all the way up. No trouble with it staying on or the cuff being floppy. It's very, very stiff. It's actually really hard to put the shoes on without loosening all the laces a lot. These aren't easy slip on boots. Mine are the chocolate color. I like that marks and drips won't show up on the dark brown, but I think the Bison color has a little more "pop" to it. A little fleece to warm up and jazz up the top of the cuff would be nice too.

Very pleased with this shoe. I have been having issues finding arch support in a cute shoe--but this has it. I don't need my orthotic when I wear them.
