Usually an 8.5 sized down to 8 - perfectly custom fit w/straps to adjust. Very well made sandal that will make walking a pleasure. Support is premium!

I've had a rough time with these sandals. I really wanted to love them, and for rugged sandals I still think they are pretty cute. However, I've had constant problems with the fit. The arch in the sole just doesn't quite match up with the arch in my foot, though the shoes are otherwise the perfect width and length, so I've had issues with blistering on my soles. Also, I have to readjust the straps after every time I wear them (and sometimes while wearing them), and it's very difficult with the extra band around the toe and the thinner double straps. I had hoped that I would be able to adjust them once and then be done, but the fit just doesn't hold, and with the many straps the readjust is prone to error and a lot more time-consuming than I'd like, since I bought them for camping and hiking and have to take them on and off when I'm in and out of the tent. I'd try another pair of Chaco sandals in the future, but one with a single strap and without the extra toe band (though I don't think I'd find them as cute as these).

I wanted to love these and I almost kept them, but wanted something a little less clunky. The zipper was extremely hard to unzip too, but that would likely improve over time. Fit true to size.

I love Chacos and these are fabulous, as expected. I have a pair of ZX/2 Unaweeps, and I bought the Z/1 Yampa just so my Chaco tanlines got some variety. I'm normally a size 8, but in Chacos I'm a 7 Wide - I think they run a full size large. I have a ginormous instep - for those that have tried Chacos and report 'sausage toes,' I highly recommend ordering a wide width. The footbed doesn't seem much wider, but the straps are longer.

I like these sandals. This is my first pair of Chacos. I wanted something light & sturdy and with a toe loop. I've had the Rex now for about a month. Wearing them around town is comfortable with no break-in period. Easy to adjust the straps, although I had to exchange one pair to get a more snug size. Make sure the arch fits in your arch and the toe loop fits. I had to go down a size to get the right fit. I'm planning to wear these all summer long, and I think you'll like them too!

I finally ordered my first pair of Chacos and I am really pleased with them. Just be aware that if you walk a lot, you might want to start with the straps a little loose to accommodate if your feet swell. Otherwise you will be adjusting the straps mid-walk, and that's not easy. Great comfort, lightweight, durable, great traction, supportive, and adorable! I want another pair for sure.

I love these Chaco Dawkins sandals! I have nearly flat feet, and the arch support is superb. I was a little worried they might be a little short, as the toe loop dug in a little at first, but after the first day, it was no longer an issue. I can wear these sandals all day without feeling my arches "fall" after a few hours. They're cute with cropped skinnies, skirts of all lengths, and rolled up boyfriend jeans. I have a pair of 13 year old Chaco Z2 sandals with the Vibram soles that are frayed at the edges, and have been down probably 900 hundred miles of rivers, and up and down their side canyon trails, and I won't give them up until they're falling off my feet! Chaco makes an excellent product that won't let you down, no matter where your travels take you.

This is the last sport sandal you'll ever need. That said, it might take a couple of days for the two of you to come to an understanding. The straps take a few wears to get the fit right, but once done, the fit is beautiful. For those tenderfeet out there, the textured footbed might take some getting used to, but it is exceptionally comfortable once you do. After a long day on my feet at work, these sandals are the first thing I put on after my work shoes come off. From mid-march to early november, these are my footwear of choice.

This is my third pair of Chacos, the previous two being flip flops, and all I can say is that I am highly impressed. I used to go through a pair of sandals a summer, wearing them literally everywhere, until I bought my first pair of Chacos in 2009. They finally broke last fall, so I quickly ordered a replacement pair. Best value footwear bar non. So I knew I had to give their Unaweeps a shot, as everyone I knew in college swore by them. These are as burly as a lightweight hiking boot for a sole, but with the wearability of a sandal as an upper. perfect balance for longer walks or hikes. Somewhat tough to break in, but well worth it, my only complaint really would be my "chaco tails" problem, the strap is a little long for my low volume foot, but I just wrap them around the heel strap and am on my way. You can't go wrong, and these things seem like they will last forever. If you are thinking about buying a pair, just get them and don't look back.

I did not like the fit of these, I had some Choco flips for 8-9 years and loved them. These were to spongy on the foot bed and the strap was to loose. I would recomend the original flips.

Shoe is very cute. If you need any kind of heel (lift in the back) for back support, this is not the shoe for you.

I had high hopes for this shoe. I love my Chacos sandals, and it sounded from reviews as if the shoe had good support. I wear orthotics and noted from the video that it has removable inserts. But when the shoe arrived and I put in my inserts and orthotics, it was clear that there is little to no support in these shoes. So back they go.

I bought these sandals for my 16 year old granddaughter, at her request. She loves them. Pulling the rope, and getting them to fit right was a bit of a chore, but after they were fixed right, she wears them everyday! I have to give them a 5 star because she loves them, and finds them very comfortable.

We LOVE these shoes! My daughter has been having knee problems from dancing & Chaco brand shoes had been recommended by her docs and they have made a huge difference and they are stylish too!

These shoes are amazing! They are incredibly comfortable even after a long day on my feet.

These were for my daughter (4th grader). Last pair we bought, we got two years of wear from and they still were good as new (except for some fading of the nylon bands). Hoping to get another two years from these. They have a great custom fit. My kid has a wide foot, medium arch and says they are comfy.

I purchased a pair of Chacos over fifteen years ago and only now need to replace them because a friend knocked one out of the driver's seat floor without realizing it when taking over driving on a trip. They are indestructible and really comfortable. I hike in them. You can wear them in the water as well.

I absolutely love my chacos. I will say that I first ordered a pair in my normal shoe size (6, normal width), but they looked and felt awful on my feet. Too narrow, too long, and it looked like my feet curved the wrong way relative to the shoes. Just the wrong fit in every way. I returned those and instead purchased size 5W, and these fit perfectly. If you have the too narrow, too long and stuffed sausage appearance problem with your Chacos, I advise trying a size smaller and a wide width. I hope that fixes your fit like it did mine, because I am very pleased now!

I absolutely love these Chacos! I have plantar fasciitis, which means I need shoes with very good arch support. These provide excellent arch support, which is somewhat hard to find in a sandal. Also, the adjustable straps let you adjust the sandal to fit your foot and thereby guarantee a comfy fit. The material feels just fine against my feet; it doesn't rub my feet in an uncomfortable way at all. They also dry very quickly when they get wet. I wear them with shorts, jeans, and even casual dresses and skirts. Love them! Finally, I have to say I am very impressed with how quickly they shipped. I received them two days after ordering without choosing any kind of expedited shipping.

The Chaco Flip Vibe is a very comfortable sandal and,with the heavy duty Vibram sole and sturdy nylon webbing, this pair looks like it will last for many years. I also appreciate the simple yet elegant design.
