Just what I needed - I needed a new pair of boots and had bought CAT boots a couple of years earlier. They run a half size big, but break in quickly in about two weeks. These boots are the most comfortable I've owned in years and hold up to the claim of being waterproof (at least to the laces). When they wear out I will most likely order the same pair.

I bought these for an engineer friend on a commercial fishing boat in the Bering Sea. He loves them and was very specific on what type of boot he wanted. They work perfect for the conditions he works in.

Excellent comfort in a work boot. I work as an auto mechanic on concrete all day and comfort has been one of the best of any boot I have ever worn. Surprisingly light for a steel toe boot. Disappointed in lack of traction on oily or wet indoor concrete surfaces.

Excellent Steel toe boot. Very comfortable and wide (know your foot width) with good padding and support. Size is slightly larger than the other boots I own. I wear the CAT Steel toe tennis shoes and these are very similar in terms of fit and comfort. They are toasty warm and they look great, too.
Brands I'd also recommend: CAT steel toe tennis-shoes

I bought this boot because I wanted to try something a little more stylish and less expensive than my normal Whites. At first I just thought they needed to be broken in, as with all of the high quality boots that I have purchased, takes about 2-3 weeks to get everything moving correctly. My first mistake was assuming these were high quality boots, I wore them for 3 months, usually daily, and they never broke in. The boot, when tied correctly, hurt my ankle and never stopped after three months. My brother in-law tried these boots on (I was trying to see if I could find a way for my money to not be wasted) and he said the exact same thing and didn’t even want to give them another try. So, I am back to my pair of Whites, and yes, after 2 weeks, the boots were broken in and they work perfectly.
Brands I'd also recommend: Whites or Nicks
