BRUNO MAGLI Reviews
This is my fourth pair of Bruno Magli Raging (2 in black, 2 in brown). I find these shoes to be incredibly versatile, comfortable, well-constructed and beautiful. Each pair I've owned has been excellent and consistent in form and function. The first 2 pairs started showing signs of age after a couple years, mainly because I wear them so often, so they have been designated for more casual use and the replacements now get the dressier assignments. I feel certain I've bought fewer shoes overall since finding these. They are not cheap, but for me they are nearly perfect.
My favorite feature of this shoe is the lack of an elevated heel...I usually struggle standing in traditional dress shoes for long periods. But with these shoes, which feel kind of like sneakers, you can stand in them all day and still feel good. The shoes are incredibly light-weight. The sole is soft and grippy. The leather is super soft and needs virtually no breaking in. The one problem is they get a little sweaty, even with ultra-thin socks. But I like these shoes a lot, even though they are very pricey...I also worry that they'll wear out faster than they should but so far, so good.
This is the best pair of shoes I've had the pleasure of owning. Comfortable, look great, etc. Leather is glove soft and wears easily, which is why they only get four stars. Clean, nice, long lasting shoes. Don't hesitate on them. If you live in DC or New York, this aren't frilly enough for the most formal events. Anywhere else, no worries.
Over the years I have ordered many different styles of Brunos thru Zappos and I always order them half size smaller to get a proper fit. Same was true with the Mianatos. These are the lightest shoes I've ever owned, probably due to the synthetic sole, but they are also among the most comfortable as well. They seriously feel like I'm walking around in slippers. Typical Magli good looks and top notch workmanship. Very happy with my purchase, Brunos have never disappointed.
Did not last. This last pair lasted 2-3 months. Problems with scuff. Scuff Cut right through. Stay away from their casual slip on. Long time user of shoe. A+ on comfort. Suspect they cut on quality of materials/production values. Have to find a replacement shoes, Pliner/Memphisto which is too bad, Allen Edmonds. Bruno lace up last better. Customer service not good. BM does not have their own CS in the US. Changing brands.
These shoes are great: no casual yet not formal, great with jeans, soft but solid. Really can't say enough about them. Seem to be wearing well and worth the money.
Quite possibly the most comfortable pair of dress shoes I have ever owned. Pricey but well worth every penny.
These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I can wear them with suits or slacks and are perfect for travel with one pair of shoes.
I've been wearing these for almost a year now and they're the best dress shoes I've owned. It's awesome you can get them in wide widths. As others have mentioned, they run about a full size large. The leather is top-notch and polishes up well. I love the timeless, classic look, with the sole being just the right height, a tapered toes but not too pointy or squared. These will last and look great for a long time. I do wish for a couple improvements, however, for the money. First is the elastic gores on the instep. They're kind of pointless, and just let me heel slip up a little bit, wreaking havoc on the back of my socks. They'll chew them up from the constant up-down grinding of walking. I wish they'd get rid of them. Also, the lace eyelets could benefit from metal holes backing them up. Just lacing them through the leather is causing some stretch in the holes. Lastly, while very comfortable, I do with they had a little more padding in the heel. I should mention I got mine on sale, and for that price, I love them and can't complain, but I don't know that I'd pay full price without the improvements I listed above being fixed.

A very comfortable shoe and the soles last quite a long time. This shoe feels like a nice bedroom slipper but with great arch support and it is versatile with both casual and more formal clothing choices.
Comfortable from the 1st day I slipped them on. They tend to run smaller than some other Bruno's that I purchased.
These shoes are absolutely amazing. They look great and they feel great as well. The leather is super soft and they are very comfortable. They feel pretty true to size to me. I wear a 10.5 or 11 in dress shoes and the 10.5 was perfect.
Out of the box these shoes felt great and after a long week in NYC, and wearing them for a few days, they broke in well and were almost as comfortable as running shoes! I bought them in black and like them so much buying them in dark brown too. This is my second-third pair of Bruno's in general and overall I like to quality of the leather and fit. I'm a modest runner and they fit my narrower heel just right and wider forefoot perfectly. I highly recommend - you get what you pay for in mens dress shoes.
Very nice shoe. I really like how comfortable it is. I've been buying size 12 shoes in everything so I ordered size 12 in this shoe, It was too big so I sent it back after I ordered the size 11 and the size 11 fit perfect. This shoe looks real classy and the leather shine is perfect.
One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've worn. Outstanding. The look and feel great. The only annoying aspect is the lining inside the shoe. The adhesive isn't strong enough to hold it in place so it slips. It's only in the left shoe so maybe my foot is weird. It won't stop me from buying another pair.
Bought these (from Nordstrom) and have worn them a half dozen times so far. Excellent fit, great comfort. Danced in them even with the rubber sole wasn't too difficult. I would prefer a leather with a rubber heel so I'll consider taking them to a cobbler once the rain goes away. It's going to be hard for me to buy another brand of shoe after loving these so much. Make sure you get a good polish and treat them nicely. A+
Excellent shoe. Changed from stiff Allen Edmonds to these lighter, softer, more flexible shoes. Feet no longer ache at end of day. Rubber soles excellent, flexible and increase comfort factor. Gel in soles really nice too. Buy 1 full size shorter than normal though!
Th leather peeled off the toe after 2 years. I had a pair of Santoni's that lasted much longer, which is expected at this price point.
Beautiful shoes!!!! Unfortunately my husband has hammer toes and VERY high instep so they did not work for him, but they are a very classy shoe.
(Marge's hubby here) I'm in shoe heaven! This is a true work of art. Supple soft leather with beautiful, classy styling. Heads up! I usually wear a 9/9.5 and I got an 8.5 in these kicks. The 8.5 fits, but they are a tad snug. Order at least a half size smaller than regular.
