Bruno Magli was founded in Bologna, Italy in the 1930’s when three siblings, Marino, Maria and Bruno Magli were taught the art of shoemaking by their grandfather in a small basement. In 1936, the siblings transformed their basement factory into a small business, otherwise known as The Magli Shoe Factory (Calzaturifico Magli). Propelled by the "Made in Italy" craze, Bruno Magli quickly became a leader in design, fabrication and commercialization of high-quality fashion shoes and became a major competitor in the Italian footwear market. These shoes look nice and are clearly well made. I thought I would wear them to walk to and from work every day but that hasn't quite happened. I got a pair of boots from Munro American that have a heel but are still more comfortable and therefore I wear them to walk to and from work. I still take these with me on every business trip though because they are a good alternative to my boots with dress clothes but also look cute with jeans. So I'm very happy with them but I'm not living in them like I thought I might.
Besides the style and comfort, the color allows for maximum versatility in pairing with clothes. I bought them to wear with dark brown and olive slacks, but found that they work well with grey, navy, and black as well. Too dressy for jeans (in my opinion), but that's okay. Works well with suits or sport jacket and slacks, even dark khakis.
These shoes are gorgeous. The leather and accent bow with the fabulous beading is so special. I got the silver to go with a light colored dress but they look equally great with black. Also nice padding in foot bed. I've worn Bruno Magli before and they are a very quality shoe.
This is the world's greatest dress shoe. Simple, elegant and extremely comfortable.Do yourself a favor and buy one pair in black and one pair in brown. You won't regret it.
Ordered size 8 (41 in euro size). They are light weight and comfortable. I have wide feet and these shoes fit perfect. Lastly, these aren't cheap and they look the part; well made and stylish.
Great looking shoe. They are very comfortable and very well made. If you want a stylish dress shoe, but not go overboard, get these.
Beautiful and pretty comfortable boots. The only negative thing is that they seem to be cut narrow right in the spot where the ankle and the foot meet. I don't have unusually thick ankles, so not sure why that is but hope they'll stretch out. Everything else is perfect and the heel is 3 inches exactly, and is stylish but comfortable, the leather is nice. I am 5'8, and they come right up to the knee.

Beautiful boots, but the shaft is too narrow for my calf. My calf at it widest point is 14" in circumference, which according to the description should be no issue. But I think my calf is too short for the boot. I am 5'2" tall and 120 pounds. I think this boot would work better for someone with very long legs (in particular long calves) and slim. Otherwise, the leather and design are very fine, and I only wish it would fit me properly.
These are fantastic! Soft and comfortable and full of style...and a little flair.
Just to be fair, I have to say these are amazing shoes and they fit me perfectly. Extremely comfortable. The strap detail is very good, the toe modern and stylish. Though they are dress shoes, they look fantastic worm with straight leg jeans. Very much worth the money.
This is the second pair of Bruno Magli Mona shoes that I received from Zappos. The other one was size 9.5 (39.5); it was too small in the toe box area, I was very much surprised because I wear a 9.5 in Bruno Magli, so I ordered size 10 (40) and it fits fine. Something must be done about the sizing, especially Italian made shoes.
Fantastic shoes! My fiance loves them but we needed to exchange for a half size smaller than his regular size. They run a little big. Otherwise, very comfortable, light and stylish.
I wear aside 9.5 in Bruno magli, this shoe was too short in the toe box and had to return for 1/2 size larger, hope it fits because it's a lovely shoe.
For the price of these shoes one would think they would make them in this width, not just normal.

I have favored Bruno Magli shoes for many years as they run slightly larger than the stated size. And it is difficult to beat the quality of the shoes made in Italy. I have received many compliments on the Mansel model. The off white/grey color makes them especially attractive. This is the first purchase that I have made through Zappos. However, I have made many purchases from Amazon so felt confident that I would receive the same quality service. Zappos did not disappoint.
