Great shoe! Brooks Glycerin is the only shoe I run in. I am a classic supinator, and I went through many shoes before I tried the Glycerin. The Glycerin 8 was a great shoe, and the 9's are just as good. The only difference for me was the width. I have a narrow foot, but the medium width in the 8 was a good fit, but in the 9, I had to get a narrow width.

These are my first pair of Brooks and I can't even believe how amazingly comfortable these shoes are. My feet are in heaven. Can't wait to start running in these. Not only do they feel great but loving the black/turquoise color combo! (Bye bye Nike, sorry!). I might even sleep in these things.

Glycerin 9 has more cushioning than the other Glycerins. These shoes fit well with orthotics, are lightweight, and no breaking in time. I think they are the best!

There is excellent cushion and the support on the outer edges is great for supinators. I would order a half to a full size larger than normal, and they seem to run wide (especially in the toe box).

These shoes are amazing! I was having horrible foot pain that stopped as soon as I started wearing these shoes! They literally felt like walking on pillows! I am a nurse and I'm on my feet 12+hours/day. My feet aren't hurting after a shift anymore!

Best running shoes ever! While my old Nikes were cute and did the trick for my shorter runs (3-4 miles), I did suffer from injury with them for my longer ones. I've run several half marathons and have a neutral flat foot, and these Glycerin 9s provided me with the support and cushion I needed for the runs (all on pavement). I suffered for chronic plantar fascia before and pain in my iliotibial band which are basically nonexistent now that I've switched to the Brooks. I would love if they came out with some cooler color schemes like a grey and yellow or something, but performance-wise, these are unmatched.

I love the Brooks Glycerin 9. I have been running in the Glycerin line for quite a few years but this one is exceptional. The cushioning and response make for a smooth run. Great shoe.

I like these shoes. Lots of cushion and they provide a smooth ride. They don't provide enough arch support for me, but they are a great trainer.

More room in the toe box. It looks like they fixed the tongue problem of being too short and riding up ! I am looking forward to running in these. It is too bad that they did not make the wide in the blue and black.

This is my fifth pair of Glycerin shoes, but all of my past pairs have been the 8. These are even better than I could image. They have the same cushioning and wear of the 8, but they seem to be half the weight of the previous version. I love them! Although the grenadine color is really turning pink with wear, and since I am definitely not a pink person, I just try not to look at them when I put them on!

I have wide feet and have trouble finding comfortable shoes that fit well. These are perfect, plus they look great. They provide great cushioning too, I have tried others but after a good experience with the 8 and now the 9 I am sticking with the Glycerin!

I haven't done a long outdoor run in these yet (so far a few miles on the treadmill) but I can say that I love the midsole wrap (it "hugs the foot") and the cushioning feels heavenly--especially in the heel. I usually always buy Adidas running shoes to accommodate my narrow heel, long toes and bunions, but this shoe was good enough to get me to try a new brand for a change.

My last shoe was the Brooks Ghost, and I was ready for a new pair when I read a review of these in Runners World. I had pretty good luck with the Ghost, so I'm giving these a try. I have trouble with my feet swelling on runs longer than seven miles, so though my street shoe size is 9, I wear a 10 in running shoes. I run 25-35 miles a week and I'm a bit of a supinator (foot rolls out) and after two weeks, these are working pretty well for me. They've got plenty of cushioning and they feel a tad lighter than the ghost. I like the black color, too. Not lots of arch support, but then again I don't need much, but someone else might need more. So, thumbs up for these.

I'm not a marathon or 5K person... but I like to run in the mornings to stay healthy. After happily wearing Nike, Under Armour and New Balance sneakers for several years, I heard these were the 'Bentley' of running shoes. AND THEY ARE! Support in places I've never felt, and they're light as air - would recommend paying the premium for these shoes!

These shoes are hot! This is my second pair of Glycerin's, love them. I have a high arch and these feel so comfortable on. I don't feel like my heel is going to fall out at all like with other shoes that aren't deep enough. I'm 37 and care about my foot comfort, so it's worth the price tag. Last year's Glycerin's were so ugly, so I was so happy to see these sporty fun colors. I bought the blue and hot pink! Then I bought the sale lavender Glycerin 8 for my mom who has the exact same feet as me and would never spend that much on shoes.
