Perfect business casual work shoe. Not too dressy, and they break in quickly. A little pricey, but I'm pleasantly surprised!

Shoe's surface scuffs and marks easily. And the original laces are very stiff and rigid; they keep sticking up in the air when they are tied. The price of the shoe seems too high, but other than that, it is an okay pair of shoes.

Excellent pair of shoes, the front is way too narrow to be in fashion but the comfort level is a solid 5 stars which is why I wear them everyday now! Comfort with these shoes is top notch, very lightweight and very soft on your feet and back.

Looks good in the ad, but disappointing. The leather is very stiff, and the crease around the toe area when I stepped dug into the top of my foot.

This is a very comfortable, versatile dress shoe. I've always had good luck with Bostonians, and this pair is certainly no exception. Leather is very soft inside and out, fits true, and stands up to wear well with a thickish sole and an exterior that's not as prone to scuffs as other shoes I've worn. Good value as well; I've worn shoes 2-3 times more expensive with similar build quality that I don't like as well. Highly recommended.

The shoes are comfortable, but the leather fades quickly. I have had these shoes two months, and they already look very old.

I bought these shoes for my husband; he has the same pair in brown. The brown are perfect; the black hurt his feet like you wouldn't believe! They rub by the toe, apparently. It's a shame because it's a good name in men's shoes.

I ride public transit most days and my shoes get dirty and scuffed up fairly quick. I also have wide feet so low priced shoes can be difficult to find. I decided to try these shoes because they were cheaper than similar style Rockport. They also look cheaper and feel cheaper. The insoles aren\'t vented so the air doesn\'t circulate well and tend to make my feet feel warmer and sweatier. Otherwise, they are comfortable for walking. I bought both a black and brown pair. The finish on the brown look decidedly cheaper than the black. I wouldn\'t buy these again, I\'d rather pay a little more for a little better shoe.

These shoes are the epitome of class. They are simple and tasteful yet as stylish as anything available. I was skeptical of ordering shoes online, but the pictures looked good. I was so excited when I pulled them out of the box to see that they were even better than I had hoped. You can't go wrong with these.

I bought this Bostonian in the two-tone brown color. The pros include that the shoe looks great, but only certain people can pull it off. The cons include the material being pretty thin feeling almost shoddy. Overall this is a very attractive shoe, looks great, feel great if you have thicker socks. It's great going for the "unconventional but sophisticated" look.

I require a wide size shoe, Zappos provides name brands and categorizes by style and size. I have owned Bostonian shoes before and am familiar with their fit. I ordered the size I needed and they fit perfectly. The comfort of a slipper and the look of executive is a great match. This is an excellent shoe for dress and business casual!

These shoes are by far the most comfortable dress loafers I have ever had. I have flat feet and bunions and these shoes do not aggravate those conditions and are still the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

The service by Zappos was good. The shoes shipped were the correct size and style. My other Bostonian Clinton shoe was manufactured in the USA. The shoes shipped were not. Not as comfortable and a harder leather was used. Disappointed in shoes, not Zappos.

My son gave me one week notice that he was going to the Homecoming dance at his high school. With a hard to fit wide size, I knew we wouldn't find anything at the Mall. I went Zappos and quickly found a good dress shoe for him. They put a rush on the order, and when the shoes didn't fit him, rushed out another pair that fit just fine - and all done with days to spare. Thanks Zappos!

Shoes are quality leather and true to their width. The length on them was a half size longer than expected, but the smaller size worked great.

These shoes are great! I put mink oil on them right out of the box. This conditioned and waterproofed them. These shoes are very comfortable and do not hurt my heels at all.My wife says that these are definitely manly and not wimpy like loafers.

So excited about getting this shoe that arrived today! I owned the Gucci original loafer (moccasin with horsebit) and unfortunately lost them on a trip to Mexico. I had them for a short while, but nearly cost $500. These Bostonians just arrived and they look so much like the Gucci ones, but are a little more able to move from dressy to casual than the others, which did not look that good with dressier styles. I sent the images of the 2 different loafers to 4 friends as Style A and Style B before ordering, and all four friends wrote back that Style A looked better. That was the Bostonian loafer. Looking forward to wearing them tomorrow! Both these and the other more expensive pair are worn better in a comfortable sole insert.

The Capi shoes by Bostonian/Clarks are very stylish and one of the most comfortable dress shoes I have yet to own. However, like others have commented, they do make noise when you walk after a few months of wearing the shoes. I keep them looking good by moisturizing the leather. The newest edition to this type of shoe is the Clarks Un-Structured series. They are even more comfortable.

I have both the brown and black Bostonian Tuscana. I work in field sales for an industrial supply company in NYC, so I find myself at high value corporate locations as well as the trenches of construction sites. These shoes have plenty of old school cap toe oxford sophistication, as well as an athletic sole which gives miles of comfortable walking. I walk 18 holes every day in Manhattan, that's 7200 yards, or about 4 miles in these puppies. No problem. Required kit for urban assault.

Not very comfortable. Neither the description above nor the reviews on this page are clear that these shoes are made of patent leather. If you're not familiar with what that is, it's leather that is finished so it has a permanent glossy look to it. It makes caring for the shoe easy, but leaves a cheap and stiff feel to the shoe. These shoes look fine, and in fact I've gotten a few complements on them. The problem is that they're not breathable at all, and the heel and sole are unnecessarily loud when not walking on carpet. Also, they take a long time to break in.

Very comfortable shoes. I do a lot of walking for work and these offer good support for the entire foot. Nice room in the toe box, no heel slip and good arch support. Plus, there is some heel technology for added comfort. They look great with all kinds of clothes: khakis, dress pants or even a suit. Might even be able to pull them off with jeans.

Really nice looking shoes; different kind of finish. Stiff, not super comfortable. Yes, if your priority is looks and durability. No, if you need comfort.

It's like magic! All I do is virtually wave my wand, and abracadabra, my shoes are sitting on my doorstep! It's almost impossible for people who haven't had an experience with you to believe how scary good you are! I rave about you to everyone I know. Your generous free one day shipping is just unheard of. Other companies could really take some lessons from you. The shoes, as always, are just perfect. Thank you so much for making my day and getting my husband's shoes here right on his birthday!
