Totally waterproof; very supportive for extended walks; bright color design makes a gray day seem better... I am very pleased with this purchase.
Brands I'd also recommend: North Face down jackets.

I bought these as a Christmas gift and they were perfect... except someone else already beat me to the punch. The boots were cute, comfy and sturdy and Zappos, as usual, were great about the return.

Love, love these boots. They are my official dog walking boots, but I wear them all the time. With or without socks they are comfy. And they stay on my feet when I walk, not slipping all over like most boots.

I wear a 7.5 and ordered a 7 and an 8 assuming the 8 would fit best. The 7 easily fits a 7.5 foot no problem. To me, these run large. Super cute.

They are not too heavy for good, solid boots. I wear a size 9.5, but they come in only whole sizes, and I went up to a 10. They are a tiny bit big, but they don't slide around too much. I could wear two pairs of socks if necessary. My feet get hot and sticky, but that is because they are waterproof, and that is usually the case with winter boots when worn indoors. I am a college student and have to walk everywhere, and I need good boots that hold up and don't leak. I walk through lots of slush all winter long. These are exactly what I needed.
