Overall:

This boot looks very nice in person, although thought it would be better quality. It runs true to size (which is weird because most of the bootie styles of Blowfish run 1/2 size small) and is quite tight at the ankle, just like the previous reviewers noted. However, it wears in in time and overall is a comfortable walking boot. Another shortcoming of this boot is that its lining tore off the top making a hole inside the boot.

These boots are awesome! I wore them to school with tights and a denim skirt and received lots of compliments. They were comfy all day and kept my legs warm too.

I love these shoes. I have them in two colors: dark brown and whiskey. They are great because the heel is the perfect height for comfort (anything above 2" is unhealthy), the shape of the shoe makes it easy to walk in, and I think these particular shoes (most of Blowfish shoes, with the wooden heels) are shaped in such a way that they are comfortable for girls who don't usually wear heels. I like 2-3" wedges, but not anything higher; I am picky about heels but these are outrageously comfortable. I can walk miles in them and they feel fine; I have very wide feet and the shape is very accommodating. I wear a 9.5 and bought a 10, but I wear them with ankle socks. They are a bit difficult to slip on, as other reviews have noted, but I don't think that's a huge problem. The leather is soft and pliable and I love them.

Too hard to put on. These boots are really cute! However, I could not get them on my feet. They are tight in the ankle area, and I could not even get my foot into place. I do have a pretty high arch on my foot, but I was not even close to getting my foot past the ankle of this boot. Needs a zipper!

So disappointed. These boots looked absolutely adorable on, but OUCH! My poor feet. The insole was really hard and the stiff part around the ankle dug into the bottom of my ankles with every step. Very cute, but not worth the pain.

I absolutely LOVE these boots. Such a great price I may pick up a second pair. Fit true to size and are narrow through the shaft which is great for me since I have skinny legs!

These are really cute! I love the buttons; that's what makes them unique. I wish they still had them in blue and black though. I love this brand, and these would look awesome with skinny jeans.

These are really great boots! They are a little loose around the ankle though, but I do have small ankles. I like how you can adjust how tight they are at the top with the buckle. they look great under my boot cut jeans because they aren't too bulky. Very versatile boot for skirts, over skinny jeans and under boot cut jeans. Thin material though and mine got a bit scuffed up on the toe from light wear, not sure how that happened.

I absolutely love these boots! The leather is soft and the interior purple suede is a fun touch. Even with the heels, these are so comfortable. I can walk all day in them around campus with no pain, blisters, or soreness. They are wide enough at the ankles to stuff skinny jeans into them. And the arch support is amazing.

This is a cute shoe, but it is totally impractical. There is not enough Scotchguard on earth to keep this fuzzy fabric clean. Also the ruffly at the back is strange looking.

I love these shoes. I also bought them in Whiskey Antique. I did have to return the first pair in the black. They just didn't fit right even though they were the same size as the Whiskey Antique, which fit perfect. No problems returning them though. Zappos customer service and return process was awesome. I exchanged them for the same size as the pair I was returning and the new pair fit just fine. Maybe a defect in the first black pair. I don't know. However, the problem was resolved easily enough. These shoes fit true to size. Plenty of room in the toe box and comfy for all day wear. Heel height is perfect for me. I don't usually wear heels. These have just enough heel for a great look without having to be uncomfortable.

So my search continues for the perfect ankle boot. These are closer to what I've been looking for, but they don't have it all. The leather is very thin and poor quality. There is nothing distressed about it; it's shiny and something I would never buy if I saw it in person. The heel is right for walking which is what I wanted and the shoe is comfortable. I went out shopping for five hours in mine the day they came and had no problem. All in all, I got what I paid for, but I'm still not satisfied and I've been searching for the perfect bootie for months!

Very cute shoes although a bit of a challenge to get into, as there is no real place to grasp the back of the boot except by the edge. That aside, these are just the thing for jeans and casual looks! I ordered up a half size to a 9 due to other reviews and the fact that often round-toe heels tend to feel a bit short. That worked great and the shoes are comfortable and fit well.

People managed to get these on their feet? I wear a size 9. I always wear a size 9. I have other pull-on boots that I can get on. I could not get these on my feet. After about 10 minutes of wrestling, I finally got one boot on one foot. It fit perfectly once I had it on. But I never did manage to get the left boot on. I think these boots are adorable. And I wanted them to fit. I don't feel like I have strange feet or anything. I just could not get them on. I'm disappointed and will have to return them.

Best boots ever! This heel is shaped and positioned perfectly for the person who usually wears flats, like me. After a few minutes you don't feel like you are wearing heels and you never have that "balance" problem! I love these so much I have them in 3 of the 4 colors you can get them in! Also Zappos have excellent service!

I bought these shoes last year as my "fall/winter" shoes. I wore them only when it was too cold to wear my other flats or TOMS. So imagine my surprise when the seam along the back heel came undone after less than 6 months total wear! I had them stitched up by an accomplished seamstress twice before they came unraveled for a third time. Now they are being sent off to the thrift store! Waste of money! Adorable style, but pitiful construction!

Like all Blowfish shoes, these run a little small, so order a half size up. That said, these shoes, like the other Blowfish shoe I've bought, are perfect. They are so comfortable, and very cute. I love the rounded toe on this boot, it makes me feel like my giant feet look smaller! The distinctively-shaped heel is as comfortable as other heels that are an inch smaller as well. They're really solid heels, which I think is nice for balance, but it makes the shoes very noisy to walk in. Don't try to sneak up on anyone wearing these shoes.

Love these boots! I have a bit of a wider calf, and these are a much better fit than most tall boots I've found. The zipper part looks a bit like a leg-warmer, which is also flattering. These are comfortable, felt snug to fit in a good way, and go with everything.

These boots are the most comfortable, stylish boots ever! I always thought boots needed to be very high heeled to book good, but these ones proved me wrong! They are extremely versatile, go with anything and everything! The pull on mechanism is extremely comfortable. I've tried other pull-on boots that are tricky to wear, but these just glide on! The buckles add a nice tough edge and the heel height is just perfect. I've worn these for 8-10 hours straight without any issues. Love them and highly recommend them!

These boots were a brilliant buy, but there is one thing that almost made me return them: the soles are very slick. I mean so slick, that they don't grip properly on concrete tile, wood, almost nothing. As I walked I risked slipping almost everywhere I walked in the city. However, they looked so good, and were so comfortable, and they looked so good, that I paid to get them re-soled with a better gripping material and now, they are the perfect shoe. They have little arch support, as is normal with most flat boots, but nothing a little insole didn't take care of. If you are willing to pay extra to get a cobbler to re-sole these shoes, they are a fantastic buy, simply gorgeous. They are lined with soft fabric, and they keep my feet warm. I have walked for several miles in them with the only complaint that they slouch a bit after. I just yank 'em up and continue on my way. Skinny jeans fit fantastic into these, as do leggings and thermals. They are a great height, and don't make short, luscious girls like me look even shorter as many boots do when they cut me off at the knee. The buttons and wrap texture seems to add length to my legs, and I love that! I also appreciate that they have a little extra space around the ankle, as my leggings and jeans end up bunching a bit more there. This keeps the tucking of said clothing items very comfy and cozy. Beautiful shoe, and worth the investment of a new sole.
